During the time hwen its about to die, people are going ot sell it at least they can get a fraction of BTC, they wouldn;t be waiting for it to fully shutdown. There are cases when they weren't able to sell I guess. Like the ETH DARK that end up scam but were still traded in cryptopia which we didn't have the chance to sell and withdraw.
Hard to revive a project that is already accused of being scam. Its best to just start from scratch.

I don't hold any old coins except bitcoin and ethereum. I think these two are the OGs of cryptocurrencies although I recognize some of the old but didn't get itself pumped because they're nearly dead or dead totally at all. From earned the best coin was TEMTUM but I didn't get paid for late KYC that's very weird case.
But Temtum isn't an old coin nor token. @jossiel I yet hold Bitcoins, Litecoins and Ethereum only, as these three are solid coins which keep on giving good returns over a period of time. Can't agree more with those coins. They truly are the solid crypto's and there's no need to prove or argue with anyone who's shilling their very own altcoin in this discussion. Everyone has their own shares and sentiments about how lucrative bitcoin is for the entire time. They keep on debating how slow, how expensive the fees yet they don't hold it.

A lot of cryptocurrencies have been created throughout time. I personally have not held onto any old or even dead blockchains. But I am working on a new project focused on old blockchains and with the attempt of reviving them. I wanna ask what everyone here is holding onto. I am mainly interested in coins from 2014 and older, but anything you deem "old" is welcome! I might hit you up if I find your coin interesting One of my new picks is Leacoin because of its age and simple configuration. Why did you want to revive an old dead coin? They can't die if they have good use case, once the coins aren't good enough investors won't want them and exchanges will delist them, there are many good old coins than few new coins but try to build yours from scratch, it's better

I don't have coins from 2014, but I have lots of tokens whose values have dropped even though they have quality. WPP token was a hope that it turns out that currently falling is worthless
WPP tokens are tokens that were born in 2018, so it is very natural that currently WPP is experiencing a very deep price collapse, and I myself have never had a token in 2014, because at that time I was not so focused on the world of cryptocurrency.

The only coins I have had since 2014 are bitcoin and ethereum. the rest are only coins that have run in 2017, only until now the coins do not have the appropriate price. however, many altcoins used to disappear. there are even some coins that I have forgotten in my wallet.

Many coins died after Bitcoin and litecoin happened, it's not a new thing and yet many are still complaining about death of many coins today while it's been happening right from the start, I'm holding bitcoin and few forks still I missed new coins too

I already sold old coins, and for now I only have a few tokens that I got from the bounty campaign from 2017 to 2018. But there are also some that I bought when ICO and still patiently waiting for the altcoin season. And tokens that I hope will someday provide a large profit are UTK, DAT, and STROM.

There are some old coins that are still sitting in my wallet; Litecoin, DASH, and monero. I have already traded most of my old coins into the new coins that is still booming right now just like tezos, chainlink and some other coins with real product. There are so many old coins that were dead right now and i have taken the decision to decrease the risk by converting a lot of my old coins. I think others will have almost the same choices.
I still holding DASH mined on my cpu when they called DRK - moust of my favorite, you chose very good coins from past and new coins like link and tezos, wold be nice to hear if you found some what hedge to btc, and alvays rise and rise like link. I'm still holding 1 BTC ofcorse, dash, aeon, want to buy link, telos

I do have Monero and a big bag of dead (or even scam) coins, like HeavyCoin, MidasCoin, FutureCoin, HobbitCoin... I guess that this was inevitable. Quite a learning curve and yeah, only some did survive. Also I've sold long ago (in 2017) my oldest assets - some 100$ worth of Dogecoin.

I bury them in the past because I can't feel their worth . Well, at least it taught me a wonderful lesson — that we should hoard wiser, not hoard more. Anyway, ever heard of first alt which offers first mobile mining? It's name is ETN and I might say it was an overhyped coin during the time I bought them.

Yes, and the death of the coin also has a reason, such as the loss of the team's concern for the coins they have made, causing death to the coin or no longer has value on the coin, so the dead coin has a cause and effect as well.

Most coins that have their own platforms will be successful. Yes, maybe this cannot be used as a reference. If it's a token, then the token that developed the exchange system. If we want to see in more detail, there is a coin that I like the most, namely Dogecoin. Life does not want to, even death is reluctant.

Until 2019 i had a lot of old altcoins but right now i own a few tokens these are going turn into zero values. Since 2014 how many altcoins was created i don’t know that. I have currently 2-3 years old coins these are OPUS,Target coin, both of dead assets. And somehow small amount of Credits coins though it’s still now worthy.

I think if you really have a lot of old coins worth nothing, then it is ok to put them all on a multicrypto wallet. I do not trust the current multicrypto wallets but I do have one to keep a lot of coins that are not even worth keeping, so I do not mind if they suddenly get inaccessible. You never know when they suddenly get back up right?

SVD tokens, and more, I cannot name all of those coins but these are from the bounty campaigns I have finisged before. The thing why I am holding such coins is not because I want to, but it is just that I have no choice but to do so. The profit by selling some of it at this moment is not enough to encourage me because it would appear to be a waste of time. Some cannot be sold because they are not even listed on any exchangers, considering those coins as 'dead'. I have other holdings in which I am hoping to earn profit from, in the future, if ever there will be an uprise in the market value of cryptos. Until 2019 i had a lot of old altcoins but right now i own a few tokens these are going turn into zero values. Since 2014 how many altcoins was created i don’t know that. There are even instances wherein Gas money is more expensive than the profit that an individual would get from selling it. Also there are instances wherein there's no market volume so what is more likely to happen is that, those coins will just be 'burried' in our wallets as a souvenir from the effort you've made to earn them. Many coins died after Bitcoin and litecoin happened, it's not a new thing and yet many are still complaining about death of many coins today while it's been happening right from the start, I'm holding bitcoin and few forks still I missed new coins too

Indeed true. Long term vision of a project should be a must. From what I have seen to those projects who are now considered to be 'dead' is that, they have stopped updates and developments with regards to their project after their campaign period, which I think also contributed to the outcome of 'dead coins'.

I used to a long list of assets way back which most are lesser in value as compared to back then. But i have 1 or 2 assets which has done really well since its launch. $AWC has proven to be worth Holding. I haven't regretted holding this token since 2018

I am the founder of Age of Chains, a Bitcoin based crypto collectible trading card game that has been around since 2016. That can be considered pretty old when you look at the fact that such NFTs just recently became more popular. As opposed to many other of the now existing blockchain TCGs, with Age of Chains we always have been focusing on delivering high-quality art in each of our released trading cards. I recommend checking out our website and Bitcointalk-Thread. I am happy to answer you any questions!

I don't think people are still holding some random altcoins that were created in 2014, rather everyone only held gem coins! I had many altcoins in 2017, but later I sold out to convert in Bitcoin because there is nothing good in holding shits! However, could you please share the plan what are you gonna do with those old tokens?

I agree with you, even the old altcoin that you hold is also one of the assets that I still hold like LTC. I also don't want to take a lot of risks so I prefer new altcoins like TEZOS, BAT, CHAINLINK & OKB, they are new altcoins that have great potential in the future according to my personal analysis.

I know about crypto world in 2017 so i really have no old coin before 2014. But i'm holding some ADX and VIBE from 2017 in my binance account. Price are too dump than that time and honestly there is not much hope on those coin also. Those coin will give me profit if times like Q4 2017 will come, other wise those are worthless to me.
