A lot of cryptocurrencies have been created throughout time.

I personally have not held onto any old or even dead blockchains.

But I am working on a new project focused on old blockchains and with the attempt of reviving them.

I wanna ask what everyone here is holding onto.

I am mainly interested in coins from 2014 and older, but anything you deem "old" is welcome! Smiley

I might hit you up if I find your coin interesting Cheesy

One of my new picks is Leacoin because of its age and simple configuration.

I currently hold a lot of alts since 2017 and some old coins which I just bought recently since they're very cheap at the moment.

Some of those coins are XNS, DENT, DGB, DOCK, and LEND.
I'll continue to hold these coins as long as these projects are still active.

Some other old projects I know are turning to DeFi which is now the hype, this trend provides a better potential.

I'll continue to hold these coins as long as these projects are still active.

Some other old projects I know are turning to DeFi which is now the hype, this trend provides a better potential.

The hype of "De-Fi" will "strip away" the attention of people from old coins to ERC-20 tokens and stablecoins themselves. Old coins like Litecoin and Dash could experience price stagnation on the market (at least in the short term). The only exception is Ethereum which is an old coin that started the "De-Fi" hype in the first place. I've seen how ETH quickly went from $250 to $400 in just a matter of months. It's an old coin worth "hodling" for the long term due to its widespread success in the mainstream world. It's important to keep in mind that some old coins end up being de-listed from exchanges due to lack of demand/interest from people worldwide. Their Blockchain networks may still be alive and running, but the lack of trading pairs make them completely worthless. I used to "hodl" Franko (FRK) and Tekcoin (TEK) within my early days in crypto, only to lose a substantial amount of money after being de-listed from crypto exchanges. There's basically no market for them, leaving me and other people "holding the bag" (bagholder). That's why it's important to allocate most of your capital into new coins, while leaving a small percentage in old coins. This way you'll reduce risks as much as possible.

Nonetheless, people often abandon old coins in exchange for the next big thing in crypto. Right now the biggest thing in crypto are "De-Fi" apps and stablecoins. This removes mainstream attention into old coins as we speak. Maybe after the hype ends, old coins like Dash, Litecoin, and NEM will gain traction once more. In this strange and bizarre world of crypto, anything can happen. Just my opinion Smiley

of course i'm still holding Bitcoin. if you asked about altcoins, i'm still holding Ethereum, Monero, Litecoin, and Dash. i never sold them since i bought them. i also have some BlackCoin, the oldest coin that i have till now. i have mined a lot of POW coins back then, but i sold it immediately when they hit the market.

I only hold coins that is already been trusted. One of this coin is the ethereum i believe that the ethereum is a good investment and in the near future ethereum price will maybe become double. So o still hold it even if the price had already a return or profit if i going to sell it today.

Yes, the price of ETH has doubled since May. And that is definitely a huge return for investors, from now until the end of 2020, I believe the price will continue to go up and 700 $ is my target for ETH. At this point we should buy as much as possible and wait for profits

For several years of participation in the Bounty company, I have gathered quite a lot of different cryptocurrencies, the prospects of which I have no idea about, since many projects publish silence and there are no updates from the teams at all. Among these coins, there are projects such as IMMLA and AMLT, which are possibly showing their second life, since the Telegram group shows a certain activity of users and moderators with appropriate statements.

I have always been a junkie for ETH and Litecoin. I would say, keep you LTCs a little bit longer as I still trust that coin. Litecoin may not be that popular now, but it has lived up and survived, and also thrived in the crypto ecosystem, where no other coin was able to achieve. Been holding Litecoin and I am pretty sure there would be developments for the said coin maybe in the next 5 years. Also worth noticing would be DOGE too, though I only use that not invest it. Very interesting times ahead ladies and gentlemen.

yeah XLM is also one of my favorite altcoin that I also hold, this project is very strong in terms of fundamentals, and also the community, but one thing that makes me feel disappointed in XLM, that they don't have Defi features, so it makes XLM price less aggressive to go up

XLM is a project that you can hold in your portfolio for a long time, because the technical development of the project allows us to see the future of this company.

Same here, I always try keep a little of LTC and sometimes DOGE as well. But holding DOGE needs a lot of luck because how cheap the coin is, it could make you gain tons of profits or lose tons of your investment as well. I love using litecoin for moving my asset from one to another if I can't find the alt I'm looking for at a certain market because of the cheap fee.
And I actually have a lot of shitcoins as well in my bag that doesn't have value anymore lol. Stuff happens and that's what I'm getting for.

I was not very often kept too coin but there is coin i favorite right and trying to keep his while hope not become dust , coin something i will keep is xmr , doge is indeed not really old the hell , but only coin that is what i have until now .
The names you say cannot be called old, it really must be called very old when the appearance and strengths of the two seem to have been exploited all up until now, XMR is too stable and has no potential, doge has become a pump and dump site, you can still hold up till now is really a stubborn and I quite respect you. For myself, both of them will definitely not be on the list of holdings, the old altcoin to me that I feel potential is still omg, lsk and eth, each year there are very uplifting and worthy moments to hold

Unbelieveable that crypto has been exiting since 2014. i discovered crypto at 2018 as a result of joining online investements which turns out to be ponzi. honestly, i could have been holding 0.5 btc. talking of Old projects. i think i will go for Counting house fund and the Bulleon project. although both are on ethereum plattform, they are projects i have high hope on to succeed.

I don't have any others cryptocurrency except ether, tron and a little amount of bitcoin. I sold all of my holding crypto and bought ether & tron. Already increased a lot and both are good coins for future. You can have a look at those
I can relate your situation to me because similarly I had withdrawn all my holding and bought ETH due to its aggressive gains. It could be the best decision I ever took because ETH performing really well at the moment and its price has been increasing as per the time.

my account was hacked by moondefi since past few years。 the moondefi is a scam, be careful!
