It might not be exactly Jan 2021 but i know next year bull run is imminent. i am talking from histrical data. The last halving was in 2016 and there was a bull run in 2017. So from this data i know bull run is imminent in 2021

looking at halving in 2016, bitcoin began to show its might a year later. I agree with the colleague above that if January 2021 the possibility is rather small but for the 3rd quarter of 2021 it could have happened. this is if you look at what happened last halving incident. hopefully that can be realized because many are waiting for it.

Well its not bad to hope that this situation can happen but we are not certain if the history will repeat itself. That might be the case for next year but I dont have high hopes, I can wait longer anyway.

Seeing the price reach the last ath again is enough, $100k is unrealistic though.

It would be easy to predict if the trend will happen again, I guess it will not happen, anytime the market could be bullish and since the halving is over, we can expect that bitcoin will rise from here. Bitcoin now has become more on like an investment than a currency for online payment since the transaction fee is really high now.

agree with the opinions of colleagues above, that bitcoin has become a very expected and highly desirable future investment. the risk of bitcoin prices is high so that all online transactions are quite expensive because if all calculations are based on bitcoin prices, of course.

I was reading my chats with friend from 2009, 2010, 2011 - I was like "bitcoin is temporary thing" while he was "it is awesome it has bright future". In 2010 thinking about bitcoin that 10K-20K is real and will be almost reached quite soon was crazy, no one believed.

Yeah, it can easily reach 100k, now jp morgan accepted BTC - two years ago it was hard to imagine, crypto is best performing asset - hard to imagine few years ago, even biggest sceptics accepts btc as real asset now, brrr brrr printing, etc.

But! I've seen and gone through situation when bread price was doubled day to day, when at beginning of month something costs 1000 of local currency, at the end it was 12000, at the end of year we all were millionaires.
So imagine when bread will costs 10k USD, BTC can be priced in billions.

If you add all factors, BTC can easily reach such prices and will probably do. It is only around 20% of gold market cap.

Right now I already forgot about USD - I am using BTC/AU ratio - cause I have this strange feeling that history will repeat and we all will become millionaires sooner or later.

ahh yeah and govs has this funny kind of behaviour - all my savings where not denominated, while all my loans where, so - 10k of savings stayed 10k, and 10k of loans become 10kk.

And one more thing:
stocks are rising and money are printed - I've seen it before, inflation were artificially kept on low level for year or so, then it exploded and then it was clear that stocks were not rising but currency value was falling much much faster than stocks (but gov and banks game was keeping it invisible for society - looks like conspiracy theory but it was like that in 90's).

l think also so after solving the pandemic BTC price will be good, that means the aftermath of the pandemic plays an important role in rising up prices. But it is just hard to say BTC price will be 100k. As you said it is so big. l don't trust on the prediction. Maybe it can be better than right now, but never 100k.

It is indeed difficult according to some experts but during monetary crisis this isn't hard to imagine why it can reach 100k or close to it by next year or may be before? We know that price was volatile and it started rallying and everyone started paying attention even those who were naysayers. This is a prediction and should be looked at with skepticism but aiming high is always good.

Moreover, the market situation can change at any time and no one can know what will happen in the future. rather than investing long term which allows us to lose money. it would be better if we trade daily or invest in the short term with the benefits that we can see.

apt. A lot of factors are even in play now that weren't there in 2017 especially the short and long leverage tokens . This alone inhibits the bitcoin journey to 20k. No one can accurately tell the price of bitcoin over a period of time because it's totally unpredictable

see halving beforehand that bitcoin takes one year to reach its peak around $ 19K more. and according to predictions that in 2021 there will be a repeat, but maybe not at the beginning of 2021.
