Predictions should be a valid one you cannot blindly expect a huge surge in BTC. Currently we are lying under $7k and the global market is already been bombarded from corona, 100k is a big number mate. see the pump depends on buying crypto not in selling. If there is a demand in market only then you can see a massive pump in the CMC.

How can you easily conclude that on January 1, 2021, the price of bitcoin will hit 100,000$? Can you share your analysis about it and what's your basis? Even if we already defeated the virus, no one can still know if bitcoin will totally go up to 100,000$ and I already see different price predictions about bitcoin then some of them conclude that it will hit/surpass the price of 100,000 but still, there's no guarantee that it will really happen. Aside from bitcoin, different cryptocurrencies can be used in this kind of crisis and I guess using stable coins like USDT can also be good since they're not volatile, unlike bitcoin which is too volatile.

I want to see $100k in the future but you just can't be sure that it shall be like that by 2021 of Jan. After the halving, this is like everybody's hopeful event which shall happen for bitcoin but it's unpredictable whether we like or not.

Justify how did you predicted that? In future anything can happen as cryptos nature is unpredictable. I will be really excited to see that price but according to your speculation it's impossible. So far from 12 years the historical pump was only 20k which happened at 2017, No one is expecting 100k by 2021 because it's quite Impossible and cryptos unpredictable nature cannot be elaborated as it may go anywhere.

Something in general does not believe that Bitcoin in early 2021 will cost $100k, even now Bitcoin can not grow to ATH and now is a bit in crisis, now Bitcoin can dream of $ 10k, not $100k.

Sure, everything will go green after coronavirus is over. The big question is how long that will take to happen, and how far markets will have fallen by then. I expect major economies to be suffering the effects for years. Bitcoin at 100k seems wildly optimistic.

Then let me ask you this, what are you basis or where you do get that confidence that traditional investors would pour out their money into crypto?
Yes, stocks/forex are declining but doesnt mean that it would be the end of it.Its just part or normal on a market to have these kind of situations.
It isnt bad to be optimistic but dont expect too much on the things that is inside your mind. $100k is too much on 2021. Its better to mind

OP only predicting market is not a big deal, even so many people can predict that bitcoin will be 1M$ in 2021(who don't know clearly what is bitcoin). You should point out the steps why bitcoin will hit 100k$,what is the reason? I don't think so that it can be 100k$ in jan 2021. Maybe it can reach 30k$ or below 30k.

If you do believe from how you assess things to happen then there's no argument for that, it's your own prediction though we all knew that this crisis still have a long way to go, as viruses still continuously spreading all around the world. Let see if the cure will be made possible before this year will end then we will see if your predicted price will happen.

If this is how easy it is for coins to surge, then I think a lot of them, including Bitcoin, would have been dead by now. Your prediction is just too unrealistic. A lot of people have said this years ago and see where we are today. You can learn from what they said and the mistakes they made. Well, BTC will surge, but that time frame and the extent that is, the amount is what I do not know.

it's hard to think about whether the price of bitcoin can reach $ 100k in January 2021 or not. in fact, at the moment the price of bitcoin doesn't even touch $ 10k. I don't understand that how much confidence you're with this statement probably you're expecting too much, $100k mark in this year it looks impossible but we may expect a decent growth of Bitcoin after the end of covid-19 which is currently a big barrier for the growth of Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency market.

hmm wishful thinking ? thats too deep and i didnt get what it mean  . i only understand the word possible and its really possible because cryptos are real and not just a science fiction only  .  there is no science behind the ups and downs but people meant it to happen like for example when people panic they also sell resulting for the price to drop   .

 if btc goes from 1 cent to 1 usd and so on then why not the current price to 100k  ? but prolly that takes some time and not easily achievable just like before   when btc reach its new ath from small  .

Please do not make predictions like that, it does not help this market go up as your faith. We are facing a crisis situation and it is likely that this market will collapse in the long term. Viruses are crippling the global economy and we will need more time for the whole to recover as before. in addition, the price 100k $ is not feasible, it is a very high price and it will never be reached in 2021.

This pandemic may bring bitcoin into another perspective when people have already started to adopt the crypto as the best solution for the majority of the countries who are getting infected by covid. Crypto can be an online payment system that offers various features. We have another chance for crypto to be adopted.
