Why would participate in airdrops if most of the bounties are dead. It is just a simple logic and we should understand it, participating in airdrops nowadays are waste of time so we should ignore it. The airdrop era is officially finished so we should expect that all of the airdrop are scams.

If it was 2017 where it is the time of profitable airdrops then it is good to participate but today it is not, it makes me cringe because there are still people who are excited to participate in airdrops. Maybe they are too greedy where they think that they can earn huge money by participating to it. I do not like airdrops anymore and for me we should not give care about it anymore.

I don't really recommend joining those telegram bots that's asking ETH fee for you to receive their airdrops, because most of them are scams or if not, their price are too small to be trade in exchanges, because you'll pay for transferring it and withdrawing it, in short, there is not profit in them. I will stop reading any airdrop offer if it involves payment. Well, most airdrops are there to spread the word about the project, or anything else. but, if they ask for investment before that, it's best to avoid it. At present, it is very difficult to find an airdrop that really makes a profit, and when you are told to pay to get it, it is a strange thing.

Even during the good old days you are talking about them you couldn't get enough amount of money out of a project.
If you ask me i would say after 4-5 months joining many airdrops I got just one valuable coin (called OGN).
The energy and the time you send on these projects is just too much and not worth it for any reason.
In the other hand you can easily join the bounties and earn as much as you want

We know some only airdrops are worth it to spend your time and advertise it because you can get a good reward once it legit .
But the bad side of the airdrops after several months of promoting their project you waste your time once the project is failed or if it's scam. Airdrops is look like a bounty campaign because they are same because they a lot of scam but only some is legit

I'd say if you are 12-18 y.o. and you have no job - airdrops are good investment of your time since you can gain at least some profit by yourself.
However if you are a grown up - there are plenty better opportunities to gain profit out there and then you can invest your profit in good projects.

i join a lot of air drops and still i dont know am i wasting my time or not! i saw a lot of scams and most of them after ending airdrop time ask for amount of eth or btc or they delay for payment!!! i wonder is there any good resource as site or channel  for good and reliable air drops or not?

so many of you call airdrops scam and i think its wrong .
 1)airdrop have 0 risk witch most of them have
 2)i know many of them are wasting time but not all of them
 3)airdrop is not also free money in my opinion because 99% of them have referral system witch makes lets say even 1% to other people know that airdrop and that company
i join to many air drops for me was 70% 30% to get my tokens.
and from that 30% part i can sell 70% of them
i also looking for more good air drops and resource to decrease that 70% part.
also for people that dont have enough money to invest in crypto air drops are the best option i think.

this week i join alot of airdrops . they were all telegram bots . and most(like 99% of them) of them ask for transaction fee as eth at the end of airdrop.
let me tell you what i think and who is going to win this game!!!!
those amount of eth is no money for anyone . but if i send that eth to that address thats 1 person.and now IF the airdrop wasnt scam i will get my tokens.and can i sell those tokens for good money???!?! no one knows !!!they will add token in exchanges and make a BIG GOOD NEWS about it in telegram channel!
now there is 2 possibilitys .1)u can sell them with moving them to exchange (also pay fee). 2)u must wait until the right time
about part 2.you just spend eth to get that air drop token witch means u lost small of your asset(eth).now think that it is not just you, there are more than 1000 people spending eth .WHATS HAPPEND?alot of people lost eth to 1 person(company).low amount+low amount+...=ALL FOR COMPANY!!!!

Frankly speaking in this type of market condition I can say that almost 100% of airdrops are a complete waste of time compare to the last peak of the market where the airdrop rewards will vary from 50$ or more. Most of the airdrop rewards right now will vary from less than 10$ and this will be deducted by the transaction fee or conversion fee if you receive a token as a reward.

Therefore I will conclude that as of this moment, airdrops are not that good to join but it will reverse someday once we will be hitting the bull season again as the project owner will surely award some huge amount of money to their supporters just to obtain their target/goals.

And if we need to pay to get those tokens, that's not an airdrop. They are abusing airdrops to steal money from investors and participants. Airdrop is a free token distribution and we do not need to do anything with it and no need to spend money to get it

That is why those kinds of airdrops should not be entertained and immediately avoided. Airdrops should be free and participants are not supposed to be the ones who are sending their payment in exchange for their shitcoin.

You are right, we cannot survive airdrops because today airdrops are bullshit. And if there is a quality airdrop, I believe its value is only worth a few cents, not enough for us to cover daily life.

Even if we participate in every airdrop, we cannot survive since almost airdrops nowadays are a scam. Or even if there is some airdrop that will pay you, its value is very small that doesn't even help you to survive for your expenses.

To be Frank not all airdrop are but the majority are genuinely time wasting, back in 2017 some airdrop fetch good money to the participants because of the market situation then, but nowadays, only very tiny airdrop are genuine, rest are just crap and waste of time, because most of them will never get listed in any exchange so you will be left with shit tokens.

What about bloggers that have hundreds of referrals? They dont waste much time (50-100 words about the project and few pictures is enough), but possibility to earn is crazy. All they risk is their reputation, but if they dont advertise airdrops everyday, they wont even notice that someone has unsubscribed.

This is not to say that these things are dead. They should have died a year ago, but we still continue our participation in the Airdrops and the Bounty.
They will die only if new projects needing cheap advertising cease to appear.

It's like searching for a needle in the haystack. Nowadays, if you participate in 100 airdrops then you can call yourselves lucky if you get 2-3 good ones. Earlier the proportion was better... more like 1 in 10. But with the influx of low-quality projects and scams, the percentage is definitely going down. I would not discourage anyone from participating in them.. because even now good ones appear once in a while.
