AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not?

i join a lot of air drops and still i dont know am i wasting my time or not! i saw a lot of scams and most of them after ending airdrop time ask for amount of eth or btc or they delay for payment!!! i wonder is there any good resource as site or channel  for good and reliable air drops or not?

 3)airdrop is not also free money in my opinion because 99% of them have referral system witch makes lets say even 1% to other people know that airdrop and that company
i join to many air drops for me was 70% 30% to get my tokens.
and from that 30% part i can sell 70% of them
i also looking for more good air drops and resource to decrease that 70% part.
also for people that dont have enough money to invest in crypto air drops are the best option i think.

You are absolutely right. Despite the fact that most of the airdrops seem to be scam, not all are scam. Some airdrops still pay cool. I know some peeps who have earned lot from it. Lastly airdrop is not free money for those who think it is.

It's like searching for a needle in the haystack. Nowadays, if you participate in 100 airdrops then you can call yourselves lucky if you get 2-3 good ones. Earlier the proportion was better... more like 1 in 10. But with the influx of low-quality projects and scams, the percentage is definitely going down. I would not discourage anyone from participating in them.. because even now good ones appear once in a while.

Alas, we are slowly but surely moving towards the fact that the gap between the ratio of good / bad projects is getting bigger and bigger.
Ultimately, the overwhelming number of participants will have to leave the sphere of the bounty.

Your opinion both of you is a reality that is happening right now and can't be avoided, maybe there must be a selection method which has the authority so that it does not continue to dissolve and make apathy continue to grow. although there may also be good ones and not commit fraud, but what is obtained in accordance with the work that I consider unsatisfactory. for me, I don't take airdrop and it's not profitable right now when it was first growing.

Well I don't know for others but airdrops are not my favourites at all not all of them are time wasting but many are only few airdrops are worth doing .Another thing about airdrops is that not all airdrops pay so I prepare because bounties are far worthy and better than most airdrops campaign.

There are still good airdrops taking place in this market. If we are lucky, we will find them. A few days ago I participated in Solona's airdrop, this project was listed at binance and I received $ 35 when participating in their airdrop. The special thing is that they distributed the airdrop within 24 hours after the airdrop ended, it made me very excited

Most of us here think the same way, airdrops is just a waste of time, even if you participate in every airdrop it is impossible to receive a decent amount from it. They just require their participants to join their telegram or provide email such as that.

I think it depends on the projects that are being advertise to the public, mostly what we encounter are fake airdrops asking for information and in the end we knew it is just getting information like data mining, some are legit but for some people its just how it is, if it comes out as legit airdrop if its not, then they move on, but for me joining airdrop should be check carefully, because sometimes they are just scam and some are just trying to trick other people of investing and in the end nothing happens.

for kyc I totally agree because now it is very frustrating because the rewards are too penny for our personal data, and now airdrop is more focused on referral system because what I see is only people who have a lot of engagement on social media, blogs, telegram channels they are always lucky and unlucky for those who follow without having a lot of referrals.

We know some only airdrops are worth it to spend your time and advertise it because you can get a good reward once it legit .
But the bad side of the airdrops after several months of promoting their project you waste your time once the project is failed or if it's scam. Airdrops is look like a bounty campaign because they are same because they a lot of scam but only some is legit

I'd say if you are 12-18 y.o. and you have no job - airdrops are good investment of your time since you can gain at least some profit by yourself.
However if you are a grown up - there are plenty better opportunities to gain profit out there and then you can invest your profit in good projects.

i dont think making money depends on age ,i think making money depends on knowledge and experience witch provide u chance to pick right moment .
ponit to enter a airdrop is for 0 risk. if im also a rich guy i will enter all airdrops because if even i make 1$ from air drop i can multiply that amount in years witch is good.

If you have lot of free time after your day job then doing lot of airdrops makes sense because you are investing your free time into something productive but when someone thinks that they can survive their life by doing airdrops only then they are doing it wrong so it only depends on users and how much time they can afford for it.

You are right, we cannot survive airdrops because today airdrops are bullshit. And if there is a quality airdrop, I believe its value is only worth a few cents, not enough for us to cover daily life.

yes maybe this is the best way for them to get money if you join at least 100 airdrops that's because many of them only give money no more than $10 (maybe only a few projects) or do not have market until now

I don't see airdrop as wasting of time but  i used it to catch fun most of the time, because most of the airdrop require little effort and time, but huge reward sometimes.

Airdrop is a way to get free altcoin without having to do a lot of work. There is no harm in trying your luck in crypto while you are not burdened by anything.

You cannot outrighly say they are waste of time some are genuine and do provide  a good opportunity if you are able to HODL them for a long time time. I had participated in a few airdrop in 2018 and sold them in 2019.

you are completely right about that but the time you where talking about , 2018 , is realy another timezone in crypto , around that time there where realy good airdrops also some shit project's , but the airdrops that are running now most ask for much info for a minimum of coins

Technically speaking AirDrops will make you beg later.

They are best way to dilute the solid market for particular coin. They never get listed as stated by users in above discussion.

However, if they get listed then there will huge dump by all the airdrop participant and thus making the price go shit, (i mean literally shit!).

This worsens the whole project and that coin become useless for further roadmap.

So stop thinking about it in profitable way for short gains but also think about it in long term, how it can affect the project itself.

It is only true if you participate in the airdrop without being selective. I see a lot of airdrops of projects have been listed at the exchange. And if you participate in their airdrops, you will definitely receive valuable tokens and can sell them.

Before, I spent quite a lot of time on all Airdrops, information about which came to me through a mailing list by email, as well as in the telegram group.  I was already completely convinced that I wasted my time and even in vain provided KYC for certain projects.  Of course I regret it.  But today I want to try to participate in airdrop in those projects that are advertised on bitcointalk, because I have more confidence in those projects that users of the forum express their trust in.

Over 90% of today's airdrops projects are solid #SCAM. They generally run airdrop to attract poor souls to buy their tokens. There's another thing scammers do, like promising to list on big exchanges which will never happen, asking ether as gas fees. They somehow manage to list their token on third class exchanges, after that a couple of months later they left the project.

So it is obvious to avoid such airdrops. But you can join some great airdrops, like some moths ago Keybase run an airdrop of XLM, Blockchain.com run airdrop of 100STX etc.
