It was a great fun yesterday, I had a few good hands, but there were some issues with the connection to SwC (again  ) and guess when? at the right time when I had very good cards to follow an all-in... njah..

This week´s tournaments have already been added and can be found in the tournament lobby. The blind levels have been reduced to 10 minutes. Late registration is now 55 minutes.

Happy seeing this news, I like shorter tournaments

Yeah, it's far :-) but I'm playing the Quarantine Freeroll to remain active and prepare as best as I can for the incoming tournaments 
It's a training when you can earn the entrance for the final Quarantine tournament with a chance winning some mBTC

better try yourself not at freerolls. For example, in 1000 by in tournaments, i see there enough skilled players. Eventually, you will get more experience compared to freerolls where people (because they don't risk anything) sometimes doing very stupid things.

Yesterday I at least made it to the top 10, and got 1 point, which I consider success.

It's success! To not talk about skills, we are skilled poker players, it's obvious, so we can talk about how dealer can be a bitch sometimes! We play with cards we get, we make choices based on those cards, other players, flops, but in the end everything depends on dealer (who is a bitch sometimes! To not forget ).
I think this quotation is suitable:
"Skilled poker players, to use David Sklansky's memorable phrase, are “at war with luck”."
And sometimes we win, sometimes we lose in that war! Have a good time, enjoy the game while lasting, always leave some money for next time.

Couldn't agree more with you Johhny! It's harder probably to play with good players and higher stakes, but it's faster and better way to learn something, when you learn directly from the best in game with them. Free rolls are good for some fun, in moments when nothing else is interesting, or you are too tired for some serious games.

By playing cash games or entering tournaments with entry fee Its really easy to get those min. points in order to be able to chat.

You need to reach 500 Krill before being eligible for individual avatars.

It's really hard to get it, at lest it will be a bit expensive. I get 5 krill for 1000 buy in tournament, so for 500 a need 100 such tournaments (custom tournaments like bitcointalk doesn't counting)

It's really hard to get it, at lest it will be a bit expensive. I get 5 krill for 1000 buy in tournament, so for 500 a need 100 such tournaments (custom tournaments like bitcointalk doesn't counting)

Earning krill is pretty easy and doesnt have to cost you anything if you play decent poker.

Just sit on a cash table and play for a few hours a day. 5/10 table is a good place to start. If you play a few hours a day and break even daily it cost you nothing to get the 500 krill.

I have around 3300 krill currently by doing this. SwC also has some days that they offer double krill points. All last week they had this.

So, basically, people with avatars are the people that play poker for a living. Well, that's also nice to know going forward

I'll play a few to get that 1 krill so I can at least chat, it's more fun. I saw some trashtalking, almost felt like a real live game of poker. As close to the real thing we can get these days.

Sending the chips for this weekend in a day or 2, just waiting for confirmation I'll be at home. It's Easter so don't know where lunch is at.

Ooops, still a long way for me with only 50+ Krill. But I'm sure at some point I'll have them together. 
I have sent the 400 chips for the next weekend and I already got my passwords. Thanks! It's a pity, it's still so long until the next game.

I won few games/round whatever you call and made some chips profit but most of all I see now I have 8.94 Krill 🤪

I believe the quickest way to get the custom avatar is 1000 raked hands at 5/10, which obviously would be quickest heads up. I'm currently grinding it out now. will get Hand history to confirm.

I remember hearing about this before it started and didn't want to join because it was way too much money for me for a game I am not really an expert on, but I feel sad that I forgot about it and didn't even watched it at all.

Is there like a stream going on when this happens? If so can someone share me a link where we can watch the stream when you guys are playing?

If there is no stream but a way to just watch in a spectator mode that would be awesome as well, I do not have the password to join in but I wouldn't mind just being a fly on the wall during this game to check it out, I am sure I can even learn a thing or two watching these guys play, they look like they are very good at what they are doing, specially the guys at the top honestly because they are far ahead of everyone else.

Couldn't agree more with you Johhny! For example, today's quarantine freeroll:

People betting "all in" with A-2 on their hands or A-4. And not one player, many players bet such amounts with trash hands, just because they don't risk anything. Just for fun. So the game turns into some kind of "toss a coin"

I went to play a few hands just to get that 1 krill. First hand, I call with 76 just to play. The flop is 76J. I raise a bit, 3 people follow. Turn card is 2. I raise again, guy calls all in, I call, ofc he's holding JJ.
That is the first hand I played, 1000 chips lost. I still don't have a full krill, I have 0.87.

I rejoin the table, I get 8, 10 spades. I entered with 1000 again, 2 guys go big during the blinds phase, I fold. The flop is 2 spade cards, turn card another spade. But the stakes were too big to follow initially.

It's killing me, really. Nothing is going my way for weeks.

Seems it's a lesson for you and always remember what objective you're trying to obtain. Be patient and look always for some higher card to play seems those  aren't higher cards you're holding if you recognize the flop same goes for the turn at least you've waited for the river.

People with avatars don't necessarily play for a living, they have just played alot of raked hands. Many users on the site have avatars that are terrible players.
