Seems it's a lesson for you and always remember what objective you're trying to obtain. Be patient and look always for some higher card to play seems those aren't higher cards you're holding if you recognize the flop same goes for the turn at least you've waited for the river.
Nope, they were great - almost the best ones you could get. Not weak, the opposite. It was a great hand and I thought I had a guy trapped who had a single J (or worse) in hand.
It is not a problem in itself - one game like this is totally fine. The problem is it's been happening to me across all tournaments recently and I've played a fair amount of poker to know how to differentiate between myself playing a bad call or just being insanely unlucky for a prolonged period of time.
Just take it a bit slower. If your objective is to earn 1 krill you can accomplish it with very small stakes as well. Just put half an hour of normal playing time where you participate in few hands and you will have much more than 1 krill. I got around 50 of them by playing few times for like half an hour.
If you're taking it a bit slower with 2 pairs after the flop with no real risk of someone holding a straight or waiting for a flush, then you're not really playing poker. I don't mind the loss, it happens - and I got that krill after all. I just wanted to fume about it because it just isn't stopping
People with avatars don't necessarily play for a living, they have just played alot of raked hands. Many users on the site have avatars that are terrible players.
Yup, it was more of a joke from my side. Something like 'look, a guy with over x games is on the table'. Still, like in everything, practice makes you better. Even if they are still bad, imagine how they were before these 1000 hands or so.
Congrats on the win BTW, it is a nice one
