BAT is a good choice if you want to invest there technology you got a good choice. But about GNT i don't know about it, a would choose in some other tokens out there lik BNB, ETH and some other good coins out there.

I don't know anything about GNT either, this is the first time I've heard about this project. So I will not invest in this project, instead I will choose other altcoins like NEO, Matic, TRX ... which are very cheap and very potential altcoins.

There is no harm in you learning a new project. try to find out about other projects and you can compare or just gain experience by knowing a lot of projects. that way you can have a lot of knowledge from the project that you are seeing. because researching doesn't necessarily make you buy it.

You do not really specify how your portfolio is formed so it is difficult to tell if just investing in those two coins is going to give you the diversification you are looking for, in fact I have held for a long time that diversification in this market does not really works as most coins move in a way that it is very similar to the way bitcoin moves, they are very heavily correlated to bitcoin, so if you really want to diversify your portfolio maybe you should try to look for an investment other than cryptocurrencies.

Make a good research first on the coins you want to invest so that you won't regret your decision if it turned out negatively. If you want to try crypto and invest with it .
If you do an investment think of it as your partial loss in your income because i know your goal is to have a long term investment.
Then  do an investment on a top 5 coin that are going to be recommended and always on the mouth of every investor here on this forum.

Market has given us a good opportunity now as it has fallen 400$ around from 9500 levels to 9100$ and time to buy on dips. It is going to come back again  to target of 10k level and may if it can sustain above 10k and then we may see new high for this year and hoping that June would be the month to happen.
