From the legendary John McAfee that is now turn over at his statement, he told before in the way back of 2017 that he is predicting the market price of the bitcoin for over $500,000 dollars market price at the end of the year of 2020 and he will gonna eat his d*ck if he made a mistake on his calculations and now he is stating that the bitcoin is now worthless and now he is promoting the use of the monero, ethereum and dai. What are your insights about this? are you willing to wait for his promise about the market prediction?

What are your insights about this? are you willing to wait for his promise about the market prediction?

I'm pretty sure majority of us here has thought that the guy was full of crap even before he said that Bitcoin is outdated, and pretty much ever since he made the prediction. The "prediction" was far too unrealistic to start with.

After backing out from the initial prediction he should never be quoted again.
Of course, he wants to be under the highlights, so he made another prediction and of course the blogs and newspapers had something to write about so they can display their ads. That's clear. What I don't understand is why would someone.. open those links...

I am not following this joker anymore. He has been trying his level hard to get his old fame and name back but, people have become intelligent enough to understand his hidden agenda behind every false prediction. He has made a fool of himself.

I dont think people believe in any kind of predictions anymore (crypto related). None of what was predicted came through. I havent seen a single true prediction in last 3 years. People only use past facts to confirm what happened in the past. It is like saying that there is snow on the ground, it must have been snowing... excellent forecast prediction...same is in crypto.

I am not sure about John McAfee's prediction because it is always wrong and does not make sense to me before he also said the same thing, but that statement was not ignored by John McAfee that he was too confident in the prediction and therefore his statement was not. It must be followed, not the legendary crypto room.

Believe in market movements because someday you will find the best price in the crypto forecast room, he really can't keep his promise of so much polemic.

Yeah, such people are clearly not to be trusted. He said different things about Bitcoin. There's this famous bullish prediction, then he reiterated but, but months ago he said he did not mean it. In the meantime, he said Bitcoin was old technology, and now he's saying it's worthless. I think the only thing he discredited is himself because who is going to believe a guy who radically changed the prediction? Speaking of Monero and Ethereum, though, I do believe they both have a future, but not bigger than Bitcoin. And mentioning a not even that popular stable coin DAI alongside these two it too low.

McAfee has never made any predictions ever!
what he does is that he makes an assessment of the general mood of the market then makes a completely random and bullshit statement about the price according to that general mood. for example during 2017 when the mood was all positive thanks to constant price rises he said the bullshit about $1 million and now that the mood is in exact opposite he says the opposite bullshit about bitcoin being a shitcoin!
then he uses this attention to scam people with the shitcoin pump and dumps and ICO scams.

You rather get used to Mcafee, he is a clown and will never change,sometimes I think he gets a reward for giving this hype and attention with the high price prediction. After 2017 bull market,people find it easy to make such a bloated prediction of bitcoin price. Follow more reliable bitcoin maximalist that macfee. I think the number of supporters of this man will be reduced because we all know this man is gained a lot of popularity and this is quite good to get many people easily believed and also we are heading towards to make more investment in the Bitcoin and we made a lot of investment and now he is not against about his statement and trying turn over his statement also it is better today it we made a lot of research and conclusion at our own because it is too hard if we are becomes dependent on the person because he just predicted the market price also it is our fault if we believe other people because we have the same brain too it is better if we store more knowledge than becomes dependent.

I just dont care what anti-virus company CEO have to say about Bitcoin positive or negative, same as Buffet or internet celebrity and so you shouldn't .
He can say Bitcoin is huge or its nothing to him, ok but who cares? My opinion about Bitcoin i get from studying everyday about its technicalities, to know what im investing in. I know its revolutionary technology, i dont need any other person opinion to know its huge .

People have tendency to listen to internet/TV "stars" as if their opinion is somehow more important because of it, its not.

What can we do? We can't force him eat his dick. If he wants to keep his promise, then he will. If he won't, that's his own problem. I lost 100% of my respect for him when he started pumping shitcoins to his own advantage. These "predictions" came most likely because he owns BTC and probably thought his prediction would influence the price this year. But guess what - people are sick of his bullshit and P&D schemes and these "crystal ball" kind of predictions almost always end up in missed shots.. which come like a boomerang back straight into the back of your head.

Exactly mate, I have never given a thought about any of his unrealistic predictions about the price and future of Bitcoin. Sometimes I don't even know how he is able to say one thing today and pretend he never said it all. that's so the highest level of hypocrisy i have ever seen. I think it's high time we avoid giving him any attention in this industry.
