If there's an existing accusation and it has not been resolve yet or the answer is not convincing it can give other players doubt that it might also happen to them. The problem is usually a user makes small bets and makes his/her withdrawal, then I believe the user deposits a larger amount, wins, withdraws, then he/she is asked for his/her identification. It's the same with centralized exchanges. Because of the probsbility of fraudand for compliance, they have to take extra security protocols including KYC.

I have made 15 withdrawals before without any issue. But they are forcing me to verify my identity on my 16th withdrawal without any reason. I haven't made any mistake there. I reached their live support team few many times, but they never tried to resolve the issue. The support told me different reason every time, and suggested (forcing) me to verify my identity. I have sent a pm to winz.io representative here, but he hasn't answered to my message. Winz.io is running a shabby business. Don't make deposits at winz.io. They may do the same thing with you.

These patterns usually haven't come without a bad aftertaste from other casinos aswell.

If this is their problem, then they must make rule regarding wager requirement on the amount of deposits that players make, but unfortunately KYC is required for players who make deposits for bonuses and have complied with the rules of the bonus.
If Winz feels that many players abuse their bonuses, why not increasing the wager requirement compared to requiring KYC even though the player has complied with the rules.
I say this because being one of the users who experienced it, it happened on the second withdrawal, even the amount I withdraw was less than the deposit value, which means I am in a loss position, and their live support will not provide the exact reason will always change every time we are able to answer all their accusations in chat.

1. Do we request KYC?

Yes, we have to at some point.

2. What can trigger KYC?

- We utilize risk based approach to determine necessity of KYC, some cases are listed below.
- Multi accounting with bonus abuse.
- Systemic bonus hunting, where account is used purely to gain advantage of bonus.
- Suspicion that the casino could be used as a mixer.
- Certain thresholds, e.g. at some point large volumes of deposits and cash outs will be a subject to KYC. Our terms and conditions suggest 7BTC for pure crypto transactions, be we reserve the right to do it sooner.

3. What makes my KYC tougher?

- Generally we try to be non-invasive with KYC, except the cases where we suspect multi-accounting with a bonus abuse or money laundering, then we might be quite extensive in our requests.
- Provision of fake documents (obviously leads to very negative consequences).

4. Is there a chance that my money can be confiscated?

Don't act like nonsense here. I don't have multiple accounts at your casino, and I haven't abused your bonuses. Still your team has blocked my withdrawal, then forcing to get my KYC documents. I repeat, you will never find any single evidence against me as I haven't done anything wrong. Your regulator isn't going to do anything as they have the history of scamming the users at a different casino in the same way.
