I think you cant blame telegram if many scammers on that app. There is many scammer on any app like whatsapp, line and etc. So, the problem is the scammer. Maybe telegram already make a move to prevent scam activity on their app but the number is high. In the end we need to be aware of scam attempt.

We can report the ID of the scamer and the telegram can tag them. But honestly, they have prevented a few scammer from their application. Every day, dozens of messages from scammer trying to trick me and add me to fake groups. The problem here is that there are so many people becoming scammer in the bear market

The body post is the way to go and to that effect I know scammers aren't only a Telegram problem. In 2017, I nearly got scammed in a WhatsApp group by a bunch of crypto criminals when I was setting off as a noob in this industry. Going forward, scammers are everywhere. We just have to prevent them by not falling for their antics through our greed.

Much more scammers than on other platforms + anonymity and difficulty in identifying the account + chat / bots/channels, fake "exchangers", etc

Because most people in the cryptocurrency market use telegrams, and creating a telegram account is easy and anonymous. They can scam people without being detected. You need to be really careful when using telegram because scammer is around you

I think that is because many people now join in a telegram. And many projects need the participants to join telegram, too, so the scammers want to take advantage of that. They invite many people who already use telegram, and they got so many potential targets to steal their money as we see that many people have become their victims. I think the crime in the telegram still happens, but we don't know that because the scammers will always find a way to trick people secretly.

Telegram never associate with fraudster, since telegram is a free software and you even by business company as a tool for communication,
ico uses also telegram to gather supporters and updates for their company, since its free even those bad people are using it for their advantage
since telegram can't stop them to create group, for their wrong doing, telegram has nothing to do with the scamming

I think some functionality such as ability to search and message anyone and also some bug that allow individual to keep adding people to a group without their permision makes it easy for fraudsters to use. I could remember some time ago, Discord was a prefered app for community groups but later interest was shifted to telegram and today a lot of scammers have also prefer telegram compare to any other app

telegram are only a means of communication but are used by scammers to deceive everyone, just need to be careful and don't trust anyone in the telegram especially those who claim to be one of the project team members

It's not a fault of Telegram. Actually some people uses this tool to scam others. Anyone can use telegram as because it's easier to use. People create fake account though temporary phone numbers to scam week souls. Many companies and projects uses telegram as a communication tool to spread their community and sometimes assist simple issues faced by community members. It's easier to do in telegram.

So Discord is preferred if you feel fraud.

Exactly. Beyond telegram there are thousands of ways scammers use to fraud with others. So we can't blame telegram. Actually I love telegram to communicate with my friends.

Telegram has nothing to do with these scammers because no matter where you are you will still find some plenty of scammers. Scammers are everywhere no matter what apps you are using, people like them always find its way to scam people that's why it's up to us to be vigilant and report these scammers. I know it's not enough because there are other scammers that will eventually gonna pop out soon but at least you make the number to go down.

 i think scammers are everywhere , telegram ,might just be one of the media where they operate . we have seen alot of scammrs on Whatsapp, Facebook , linkedln etc so i dont  think fraudsters are  perculiar to telegram .   You just have to be wise otherwise they play on your intelligence and scam you . Scammers are everywhere, I can't see any reason to blame the Telegram. The social media platforms are good places to target the crypto victims and take their money with shady choices. Just don't play the novice trader scenario when they send a personal message first. Open your eyes and you will see the signs of taking the opportunity with beating the OP by other small scammers in the crypto world. Unfortunately, this is how things turn on crypto social media.
