We really need to be patient in this crypto space. there is no need to be in a very big hurry so we don't miss it . apart from crypto anything you want  success you must be patient about it and keep working hard consistently untill you achieve your goal. so do not see crypto as a get rich quick scheme it might not work out that way.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I think patient is necessary along with selecting good project. People dreamed to be a millionaire within night, that's ridiculous.  Let it allow some time for development and go ahead with its roadmap with a better way.

yes, it's the same as building a business from scratch. it's just that many people are impatient, and demand that the project must be successful in a short time. in fact, some of the projects that I have seen take years to have a price that is worth it, and also good quality.
So many people are impatient, i know people like this are newbie in crypto, they don't know about crypto except profits, so everything must be profitable. If they invest in a project, they sue the project must give them profits, people like this don't care about supporting the project, they just sue and sue again
Cryptocurrency trading will not give profit always, even an experience cannot predict the market situation and this makes many people loosing the value. Every person will be very positive before entering into the market, once after entering into the market, they cannot control the emotions.
I think patient is necessary along with selecting good project. People dreamed to be a millionaire within night, that's ridiculous.  Let it allow some time for development and go ahead with its roadmap with a better way.
If the project has been showing a good result on its development progress and I can call that patient is necessary for the investors and buyers but when it was not showing any good progress and can we patient for that thing to happen? i can't consider we will waste our time and money.

Impatient is the thing most people lacking. Everyone only wants to see the end result and reap the benefit from it without giving any second thought about how did the project able to get there. If you're like that, please change and have at least a certain threshold of time before demand that kind of result similar to many of top altcoin in CMC.

I don't think it's a problem to dream of becoming a millionaire at night, because it is only a wish, even though the possibility of being realized is very far away, but while dreaming also has to work according to the road map that has been compiled.

I totally agree to this thread that in this crypto world that you are risking your time and money for investment you really need to take a longer time if you really wanted to be success in this industry but I can assure you that it is worthy a wait.

People don't want to give projects some time to grow, they forget that coins like dash, litecoin, Xmr, Bitcoin etc have a rough start, I'm just saying crypto investment takes years, just because a project drop in value doesn't mean they won't grow better in future.

Projects don't just turn huge in a year, there will be lots of volatility and price loss, for long term hold be prepared, if you can't then go for top coins
Yes. In this case, you are not wrong. Indeed, the project takes years to achieve success. However, unfortunately, many of the project teams left the project so there was no progress. In fact, many of the websites are dead. If indeed they care about what they are developing, of course, it will be successful despite a long time. But many of the project teams ignore what they have developed and choose to build a new one for a moment's profit.

Crypto investment is about chances and timing, most altcoins aren't good for long term hold, it's better to watch your portfolio closely and change to other coins if the coin you holding isn't doing so well anymore, learn to manage risks

Indeed, there are coins that is good for long term while other coins are best to trade for short period.

Those currently established coins had indeed a rough time before getting their spot now. At first it seems they dont have something that can make it boom, the reason why some investors are just ignoring it before.

But nowadays we just cant trust easily the new coins sprouting due to scam, we cant blame the investors for not trusting because they already experience losing their money for choosing a coin that is not establish yet.

Many of the project is really need some time to develop, Of course they will also need to show the development that is one of the best way of any new project that they wanted to became a successful cryptocurrency or company. Like Elrond, Elrond team has spending their effort and now they are successful after to 2years of development of their project.

Many early investor are now rich. And the development still continuing and lot of partnerships increased this year. I am happy now with my small amount of investment. All we need is time and effort.

It cant be about time only, I don't recommend holding unto a coin for long time because anything can happen, it's better to keep following the project development and opt out if things aren't going as planned

I think it depends on the project, if it is a good project then the investor will patiently wait long, if it is a bad project, they will quickly leave.
Coins like, Ethereum, litecoin, Xmr, Bitcoin achieved success because they are good projects.
What about Walton that has not made it up there despite the fact that it has nice roadmap and team? The thing is that people are always in a hurry to gain profit and always looking at time and constantly checking price charts. Why not give the coin you buy enough time to grow is what the OP is saying and I believe that to be true. Do not be in a hurry to sell off your holdings.

Yes, for people who have a lot of free time, it's better to always monitor the progress of the projects we have participated in as well as new projects that we haven't participated in, but if someone doesn't have much time to monitor it, then it's more well don't hold the coin for a long time, unless the coin really has a lot of interest and volume.

Although I no longer trust a lot in new projects, but your words are correct in general, no project can succeed immediately, but rather needs time to complete the worksheet, discover mistakes and work to fix them, and also until it gains popularity among people.
Unfortunately, most projects end after the coin is listed in one of the exchanges, and most of the time the project is not followed up by the project team, so the project fails. Successful projects need continuous follow-up and require a lot of time and work.

Well, it's natural that a project needs time to develop, because when the project is finished in sales, the team needs time to develop the project. sometimes the time given is 3 months, but I feel that the development of a project is more than that. a few things to think about are investors and bounty hunters who immediately sell their tokens when the project is listed in a market.

I agree with you that investors and bounty hunters play a negative role in the success of the project, especially the bounty hunter, because they sell the tokens that they obtained for free as soon as it is listed on the exchanges, and this leads to the token losing its value due to the large sales orders that get from these, so I think the project team have To prevent them from selling the tokens immediately, by freezing this tokens, for example, or delaying their listing in exchanges.

I have to disagree with you at this point. Bounty hunters don't have the power to change anything. The reason is that the allocation of tokens that used to reward bounty hunters is just a small amount of total supply. How can it affects the whole project? Some projects don't run well then they use bounty hunters as a bullet shield which receives all the blame. Furthermore, bounty hunters work to get paid, then they have the right to decide what to do with their tokens (assets), how can you have the right to affect their decisions?

I think that is true, many huge and well known project such as the said altcoins started their journey from a rough and so many bump until they reach their fullest potential. That is also true that no project can be popular in just a year like bitcoin before making its noise it started from nowhere.

A great man once said, success is a process, that is, it takes little time for one to achieve  it, considering crypto currency, for one to make big money, patient is the key, because everything in this life generally is a process i.e one step at a time. in cryptocurrency there are some factor that determine value of a coin
1. Acceptability
2. uses
3. Demand
4. Exchange listed
5. rtc.

for all this factor to be met takes little time.

stand to be corrected.

Success is not definite. Although I think that in this industry time is not the essential factor for a project success, the team and developers are.
