Weren't you suppose to discuss with your legal department about trademark issues with using the Satoshidice name? Satoshidice was pretty much the very first dice site ever created on Bitcoin network and it was very successful and sold for a huge sum back when Erik sold it. Its a piece of pioneer work in the bitcoin history.

This really brought out sooo many memories. I remember literally the earliest days of satoshidice itself, like literally being on blockchain.info for quick gambling level of early days, that much early. I remember just-dice and primedice becoming a very dangerous threat to it as well, and putting in off-chain gambling to map thanks to provably fair as well. And I remember satoshidice being sold for 126k, which was about 12 million or so dollars back in those days but right not it is a whooping ONE BILLION dollars.

But this one is just the same name and we cannot get anything beyond that? Let's hope positively as they just started a signature campaign and when that campaign goes for long time then we can assume this business will be stable. Let's wait and watch how this new brand gambling house with old familiar name works and serves for this crypto gambling community.

Yes I found this weird thing as well while I was reviewing the site back before they launched it . At first I was not sure about this as I thought I forgot the position of the chat but since you found this as well that means this could be a bug. Going to inform the sdice guy about this

When I first open the site and I said nice good looking to the eyes because it is in night mode and easy to play gamble dice. You know the site is not the original satoshidice because you are not new to the crypto world. I am talking about new adopters who see some bitcoin documentary, and decide to try out Satoshidice so they google it and, they might discover satoshidice.io and think it the same original site as before.

If you go to the root site satoshidice.com and scroll down, there is a copyright notice at the bottom. Since this is crypto, there is a chance that nothing will happen. However since the site is fairly new and not too late they are better off just changing the name to prevent any further headaches with the real satoshidice owners.

well sad man . infact using btc alone is what makes them unique because btc is related to thier site name which is satoshi ( the founder of bitcoin ) . also almost all gambling site have also started with bitcoin and it takes along time before they add another coin then takes time again to add another and so on ...   on the other hand , bitcoin is not a bad coin to use for gambling  . we people use btc before on almost anything and we dont have complaints but let say some people have complaints , still they continue using btc

Exactly, the domain is the least on the agenda, it cost money to do that and I'm quite sure after all the testing (paying participants to test the game), organization of promotions (signature and other platforms promotions) the site must be running out of fund. The expenses are quite more then they must have budgeted especially after the had some setbacks in regards to the site not working as well as the expected before the first launched. The development and upgrades wasn't free, that also cost money.

In due time, probably after some profit has been made, other development will come into the picture which one of them is getting a proper domain name that won't put them at danger of any copyright issues.

Same here. Adding more crypto or altcoins might be better as different gamblers have their own favorite coins. But I am more of a bitcoin person and I like that you first add bitcoin because it is the most popular 😀

Although our site name is related to Satoshi the founder (not affiliated to him/her) who invented BTC, today more businesses and merchants are accepting other crypto as well since the current development of cryptocurrency is quite diverse. Well usually people are attracted from many bonus / promotion which held by the site, or faucet since there are only few sites which still have faucet feature on their site.
