There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

You don't have to buy them. Bitcoin testnet is free to get using testnet faucets. I don't think you can get 50 btc at once, but you may claim in many faucets. I found this one: https://testnet-faucet.mempool.co/ It gives 0.01 per hour. Another option but with less amount: https://bitcoinfaucet.uo1.net/

This faucet should give you 1 btc by request, but the link doesn't work anymore for me.

Same post Already made 1-2 month ago. You have to try asking Mocacino on His thread. But, the point is he won't sell it.

But just in case somebody else has the same question: tBTC is without value, so i'm not willing to sell any tBTC. However, if you need a large amount of tBTC, i'm certainly willing to lend tBTC to anybody who is in need, however, i'd need some actual collateral for such a loan, since i don't want people to get tBTC and never return it...
