This disbelief comes from the fact that many gamblers lie about their earnings, in my experience when I went to physical casinos before this pandemic most people claimed to be long term winners and that is impossible, I could understand if a few of them actually earned money, but they wanted me to believe almost everyone was a winner? I simply do not buy it, they are simply lying to themselves in order to feel better and hide their losses, but this can be a very dangerous behaviour as deep down they know the truth and they could take unnecessary risks to recover their money.
