It seems that the earlier problem appears again, double notification for the same mention. I think it happened to me a few days ago, but since it didn't happen often, I thought it was just an accident.
Is this happening to anyone else?

I would like to ignore boards as well (especially Gambling and Games and rounds). I get pings from sport topics all the time, since Mitchell is a pretty common name. Keep adding the topics to my ignore list, but people keep making new topics

I received more than 1000 notifications just today alone from the spammers.

My current setting for minposts is at 3 which seems not stopping them from notifying and also I am not sure how much the minposts should be so for now I set the notifier on Mute for a day, hope they will be faded away in that period.

How many notifications have you received guys?

Every notification contains a link to the post which is the reason for it. Did you accidentally add a phrase you want to track, but it's a frequently mentioned word? For example, if you added that the bot notifies you every time someone mentions the phrase 'Bitcoin', you would get many notifications.

Thank you. I didn't notice that all those threads were only coming from gambling discussions, so now I removed them from the tracked board and unmuted the chat, which helped to resume.

I haven't done anything wrong and the spam is similar to This Free Amazon Giftcards Method spammers., the only mistake I made is tracked the gambling board which is where they posts these spam links.

If you received notification from users like Hynanovyn or Nielluvas, they only created 1 post. Can you check this?

I was able to launch this telegram notification bot today. I don't know if my attempt is correct as I haven't received any notification yet. But as mentioned by Telegram bot it seems that it will work properly.

All i've got to say is that without this app it would be incredibly hard to keep track of everything in this forum! I love getting these notifications and I wish it was all built into the forum what this great app has to offer. This forum has surely come a long way and i expect we see more fun and innovative benefits like this app has provided.

What I mean that, I have tracked multiple users and some of them make posted on their local board And as a different language holder, their notifications are most of the time produced me benefit rather than just creating a long list of notification.
So is it possible that I can track them properly and at the same time not get notifications of posts when they post on their local boards?

Not right now. I once dreamed about a system where you would be able to create multiple complex filters.

- posts on X board
- posts on X board by user Y, with the content Z
- posts on topic X unless it's from user Y

etc...

Maybe one day, but I've been refactoring the code slowly to make some stuff easier/possible.

Why not? Just consider your earnings from enabling ads on the bot as your incentive or reward.
Four years, I guess. It's time for your efforts on this project to be rewarded.

I think it turns out to be a discreet way of making announcements

It only suggested that it not appear in all messages. If not, it ends up being very repetitive, especially for users who only open Telegram once or twice a day.

I really don't like to see ads anywhere, BUT if they are optional and non-intrusive I could live with them.
If you can add question option in bot settings for users to select if they want to see ads or not, that would be acceptable for me.
Just don't make anything flashy that takes a lot of space.

It would be better if we can choose to show/display the ads or not display at all since there are people who doesn't like to see ads. I wouldn't mind seeing ads as long as it is minimal and ad I explained above where we can choose to display ads or not. Your bot being monetized should be your reward for creating the bot. There's no denying that this bot is very useful to me and I have been using it since the time I know about it.
