If I remember correctly, this project is contributed to the community and is open-source, sponsors are all welcome, if the bot is completely changed as a business, critics will overflow, then probably a new bot will be created by another for the same purpose since this is an open-source project.

I agree that the project should not change radically. This would cause users to drive away instead of attracting more.

But, already today the project is open source, and no one has replicated. And do you know why? Because it is not enough to take a code and put it into operation, you have to give support and maintenance. How many are willing to do this? Especially doing this without financial returns?

Because there is still one operating, although this is one of the reasons (regular support and maintenance) but chances doesn't go to zero. Vod is there, you or anyone or maybe me? I did one on the other forum but for fewer features only.

This is just an appreciation reply on this thread by me for @TryNinja. I might be late as I haven't checked the previous replies on this thread about the BC.game sponsorship link on every notification. I am not a tech guy but the advertisement link coming up with every notification is a genius idea. I bet sone haters will not like it but @icopress and @BC.GAME have been unique and creative with their marketing campaigns.

#1. Have a free version, that free version has 10 ad slots, and ads cycle with each notification, creating value for the advertiser, but not straining the user with one single advertiser every day.
#2. Have a paid version, $9.99 per year is nothing for a bot like this, and this version would be ad free.
#3. Have an enterprise version, $99.99 per year, this one is for the operators and various businesses at the forum, TryNinja I don't know if you remember when I dropped a donation and requested a chat group environment where I would be getting notifications for Coinslotty, that would be a good option to introduce. For a business $99 is nothing, and for you it means improving the product even further.

i would pay for something like this. and i especially agree with the point about adding more ad slots. you can run an auction for the slots, or sell them for a fixed fee.
seeing the same ad on every notification makes me subconsciously ignore it (ad fatigue), and i can imagine it would do more harm to the brand in the long run since no one likes ad spam.

To your telegram account since it's all about the telegram bot for the purpose of this whole thread. You can read the description of the bot, too, upon registration/subscription.

Does notification bot works fine for everyone? One of my posts got quoted almost hour ago, but I still didn't got notified about it. Earlier today everything was fine as I was getting notifications.

But I don't get any notification from the bot regarding that post. But if you noticed, Philipma's post was edited. I guess that might be the reason, and I assume it's because it was edited that's why the bot didn't notify me. I guess this is not the only one post that I didn't get notified.

Okay, but sounds complicated to me (I didn't understand sorry).

Anyway, my username was mentioned again and didn't notified me.

The post that didn't notify me is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5521244.msg64919230#msg64919230 which is you can see that the letter L in that post is in lower case (xlays instead xLays).  Is the bot case-sensitive regarding upper and lowercase letters in tracked username? I guess this isn't 1st time that username are being mentioned regardless of characters case.

No, it was a mistake. I clicked on reply and I had to leave the laptop as it was for 1 min and my daughter posted this lol. She is 2 years old, btw.

Lol. That's why I made CTRL-ALT-L (a shortcut to lock my computer) a habit every time I turn around. Well, actually it was before I had kids, cats also like to type.

Teach your daughter the first forum rule, she'll should up her game to join

What!! So @little mouse you also experienced this as well? your daughter typing you don't know..
This is also in my case, but right now I don't give that space anymore and if I am spacing my laptop I put it to sleep and fold it down to avoid her pressing the power button steady and it will shutdown where I will have to start up all over again.
BTW, I don't know if I can relate this here as well, for the past 3-4 days no notification received from altcoinstalk through bot, this made me looks like I am partially blinded from that section and my attention are usually called over that section through the bots. Is that error from altcoinstalks or coming from bot?

Hey @LoyceV That option doesn't give valid commend on my windows laptop.. I don't know the system you are using if windows or iOS.
For windows.... is window+L is Autoluck, and this CTRL-ALT-L doesn't work for me (who knows it could be from my laptop and could be working for pc)

I also got a mention notification from there, a little confused. If nothing else, I'm not the only one so I don't have to research on my side what it's all about.
It seems that it is only about this topic, @filippone wants to attract us all to the Italian board.

Also got the same notification; thought it was some sort of mistake until the notification came 3 times now with the last from mv1986 and Nomad88, which the discussion has nothing to do with my name.

Same here! No name, no quote, no mention but still getting notifications. And looks like you are not the only one effected.
