I need a little request from you regarding a thread which I seem to tracked for a reason I can’t remember at the moment . All I know is that the thread was resurrected recently and it’s been throwing annoying Notifications since then .. I want to get rid of it .

I’ve already tried looking for it on tracked topics but it seem missing, don’t know what caused that .. is there a way to manually just use a keyword to search through entire tracked items. Or you can just help removing it

What kind of notifications do you receive?
Does it not work if you add them to the "Don't notify me about... > Topics" list instead?

Or is it because the topic's owner changed the topic title that you can't find it?

Edit: Tried the option this morning and didn’t work.. I think the thread is on some kinda jujutsu  level

In the meanwhile, I added a search option for tracked topics. You can search by title or topic ID.

Works like magic  using the topicID..

The issue is now resolved, it was an edited thread (early with no forum indicator ) so I couldn’t find the name because the tracked was old name and I was checking for the new name.

This was also my issue with the android app version. Try long-pressing/clicking the link (not the chat bubble), and the copy link option will appear. That worked for me.

By the way, @TryNinja, are there any plans to add a sigban notification to the bot?

If you have modlog notifications enabled (Notification settings -> Notification toggles -> Enable Modlogs), you will get notified if you ever receive a Signature Ban.

Pray you never see this notification.

Everything is updated to the latest version, macOS and Telegram.
I tested, and if I switch to "legacy Telegram HTML" then I have a 'copy link' option in the menu on all notifications after switching.

I'm supposed to get archive link here, right? After the semicolon. What supposed to be the error? I never received a pm for deleted post but only from tg notification. And its my first time getting such notification. Or this is just an error?

Some entries on the forum modlog are missing the topic title, for some reason.

It might be more difficult, but a notification system for deleted posts would be helpful.

Actually it's not more difficult it's essentially same concept as Sigban. The scraper continuously scrapping all data from Modlog , just like sigban when deleted post appears in modlog. it check if uid match with subscribed users uid then it will give a notification. Of course it's entirely up to TryNinja if he wants to add the feature or not.

In the meantime, if someone creates a new topic on the "Meta" board and later after a while (20-30 minutes) when I turn on the data, no notification is coming. I only send the notification to telegram. They are the ones who deliver it, so that's on them.

Normally, you will receive them all if you get back online, that's how it works. When you say you receive no notification, is there new thread/topic made on meta the time when you're offline?

Feature Request: Notify When a User Starts a New Topic

We already have notifications for a user's new posts.

Would it be possible to add an option to receive notifications only when a user starts a new topic, instead of for every post they make?
This would be very useful for following users whose new threads are interesting without getting notified about every reply they post.

The feature is already available.
Select "Notify me about", and then "Posts by users". Enter the name of the user you want track, and after that the bot will ask you whether you want to track all posts of the usesr or only the new topics.

Ahh, my bad. 😄 In fact, I'm already using it... I had just forgotten that it asks whether you want to follow posts or topics after entering the username.

I was looking for a way to choose Topics Only before entering the username, so I completely overlooked it.

Maybe the UI/UX could be improved a bit. 🙂
