for me it depends in a projects roadmap, no matter how long or short you hold a coin or token , if there is no usage or purpose, its seems to be useless, choosing coin to hold is very important, because if you choose just a copy tokens, there will be less value, and higher chance it will be a garbage in the future, if you choose promising coins or token it will bring you fortune, in the near future if you decide to keep it for years.

Market means in general about cryptocurrencies so you should be specific with what you're wanting to hold. And for the platforms, they're just there and you're the one to do the initiative whether you'll deposit or not.
Maybe, you're planning to hold those tokens on "platforms" or exchanges, if that's it. That's not a good idea.

Definitely.  Any project that you are interested in and interested in will need time to check the integrity of the project to achieve satisfactory value.  Note the background from Whitepaper, Lightpaper.  And the token / coin hold plan for me is the roadmap.  This is the condition to accurately identify opportunities to promote value in terms of profits.

I was giving advice to so many people that invest before the start of this year. Already every (good volume) altcoins are giving us a good profit. EOS blockchain, DIA these altcoins don't pump, so we can invest. Time doesn't matter if you invest now and sell before the last quarter. I agree with you. Understanding how long a token should hold is very important. For example, at the time of YOUC token distribution, the price was 0.005-0.008 usd per token. Three months after the distribution, there was a date of launching YOU app. And after 3 months its price goes up to 0.02-0.06 usd. Again, the price of some tokens is good at the beginning, but as a result of long time hold, their price is now almost zero, such as APPC, Pin, FDX, etc.  So I think the most important thing is to decide how long to hold a token and when to sell it.

In my opinion, cryptocurrency investment is very good as a long-term investment if you invest in altcoin that are in the top 100 on coinmarketcap, but if you invest in new altcoin or altcoin that are not in the top 100 on coinmarketcap, then you better hold for the short term (sell when the price has risen very high), because the risk is very big if you invest for the long term (the price can fall very far).

in my opinion if you don't need money and do use that money for investment, then hold for the long-term is the right choice, but I advise you to buy and hold Bitcoin, because the price of Bitcoin will definitely continue to increase all the time and of course it will give you a lot of profit if you hold Bitcoin for the long term.
