Actually here, no need to donate it to some charity or organization since if we have free time, we can do it on our own.

A few weeks ago, we started a small food program for some frontliners here.

But if ever, for let's say, I will donate to the casino literally, maybe much better if the casino itself will donate and that will come from the earnings they will get from their users. Like what freebitco.in did. They encouraged gamblers to play at a given time and some proceeds of it will be used on donation. This give a gambler an opportunity to help while still have a chance to have profits in return.

I would choose on directly to participate on charity programs but if a casino does have their own dedicated charity program to donate for needy people then it would be also a valid option to take
but this are only for trust-able casinos out there.

Just like on what happened in Freebitco (https://news.bitcoin.com/freebitco-in-gaming-launches-covid-19-relief-fund/)  where they do allocate a portion of house edge for donation for healthcare efforts.

You can actually do such stuff yet people do have their own will on which one they would gonna choose.

After re-eading the previous comments, it becomes obvious that the vast majority are not convinced of the idea of donating in a casino.
Therefore, if you/any other casino are seriously considering launching a fund raising campaign, then you should do something about this. For example, you can offer adding 10% to each amount donated or make a challenge that if a certain amount is collected, the casino will double it. Besides granting each one of your users who donates some special privileges.

Otherwise, it will be just a waste of time and it may even have a negative impact on the casino's reputation.

I think that having the permanent possibility to donate through the casino website would definitely be my choice... and I think it would get a lot more donations as people would donate when they choose to, it is easy and quick, and the probability is that they do so while they are in a good mood... organized tournaments would require a lot more scheduling and effort from the donners...

In my case, I think I would love to participate in special charity programs. However, I would also donate to a casino or a group of people as long as they can be transparent to where will the money will go, a group who can show documents that the money I donated is really well spent. That's my condition before donating, I would like to see if the beneficiaries really deserve the money I will be donating. I'll donate in anyway I can as long as I trust the group or company.

thats an interesting question. I love to gamble and have been to a few a casinos - the classy and posh atmosphere is something special - even if you just go and visit casinos.

Most importantly it would be good to know where the money would go into - like helping out people in need.

A permanent possibility would definitely attract people but I think having special events is just more appealing. Like you mentioned having a poker tournament where the winnings will go to charity sounds awesome. But it doesn't have to be so high maintenance like a poker tournaments, a smaller lottery or betting game would already be awesome.

Sport events are coming slowly back only after corona, so it would be nice to bet on some events where people pay donate for there tickets, and 90% of the winnings will go to charity.

I agree with that perspective. Most players don't want to donate directly to casino.
So yeah, if the casino decides to hold some charity campaign, they need to offer some bonus or rewards.
Most gamblers prefer to donate directly to charity organizations as they are thinking that they are already donating just by mere playing on the casino.
So those gambling sites here that are planning to run some type of charity already know the answer.

Casinos are earning more than other businesses so if they want to help some charities, use their funds instead of getting donations from their users.

Gamblers are always losing so much better if those casinos will open a bonus for those who will play at their casinos for the benefit of donating to charities. Sort of gamblers need to reach this easy wagered requirement and if they do, casinos will return the favor to the charity.

That feature might attract other gamblers to play on that casino as the intention is good.

Personally I have not donated in a casino yet since the casinos that I have been playing with does not have that kind of feature, and I also think that it's wise if I would personally donate the money to people that are in need. I am no rich, so what I can help is just a small amount but to ensure that the recipient will receive the donation, that's my goal.

As of this late, I was able to provide some help or donation as a lot of people are affected in our areas, especially my relatives, so they get the help from me.
I think a casino with an allocation for charity program from their income would be nice, but don't expect gamblers will really donate, just get the donation out from the amount they lose.

Hmm, I guess I will go with charity programs instead of donating to the casino itself. At least some part of my money able to benefit the needy or be used in a purposeful deed and not only the casino. But first I want to know what kind charity program you will start for me to know if its really worthy or not.

You know what, my heart says that I don't really want to give my money directly to casinos despite of fhe crisis we are all experiencing. I mean, they are casinos, they are always earning. For sure they can breakeven in no time as long as there are existing gamblers out there (which is very true). I can choose both if those responsible for the donations are well trusted.

I would prefer to donate directly to the needy person than to send the charity amount to casino and make them responsible for distribution of charity. Sometimes it is hard to trust of other party organizations or casinos that they will give the donated amount to the poor & needy or keep it with themselves.

Yes, for security and to make sure that our money will reach to the person who need it but actually there are so many running campaigns are posted on internet and you can go on gofundme search it on internet since they have so many charity campaigns running and select on which of them are deserving to receive your donation. Also you can go directly to your local government units if you want to help your fellow countrymen.

I think Casino owners should donate without asking from their users to donate as they are making profit and the users are losing money to casinos. Casino can use this as marketing that they would donate xx % of the profit to xxxxxx organisations which would in a way attract more players in their platforms. If someone wants to donate, please donate to poor countries where individual are dying up with hunger. I have myself initiated food program in my district teaming up with other like minded people to feed the poor. I think casino owners should be the one who donates in special charity programs and other organizations because it looks like they have more money than us gamblers, that is why I will not donate. I rather tip the dealers in a casino than giving it to the casino because they deserve it more.

It makes more sense to donate directly instead of donating with the income I get by gambling. Also, if casino businesses are to be used as intermediaries when donating, I will have some doubts about the real donation. Although the business does not want to undermine its image and trust, there may be suspicious approaches to the fact that that donation has really been made. For this reason, I prefer to donate directly while gambling.

Just make sure the funds go to the right people who need help. If you have the heart, it might be best to just go to the nursing home for the orphanage to directly deliver the food supply and funds. At least there you know who you are helping and not the ones who can't help back the rest. The kids are future in our planet and if they see we are kind to them, the world might just be kind to all one day.

No, I think not. I will just probably donate it to our local charity who is actively sharing the love to the family who really needs help. In our current situation, there are many organizations that pop up from out of nowhere, I have seen some newly open charity that has been accused of corruption in the donation they are receiving and I don't want my donation to go to the charity organization members. I am not telling all but I'm sure that there are some. It's the same case in the casino, But I appreciate the effort of some casinos that are initiating some poker games to raise some funds to donate into charity.
