That will be a good idea! However, i wish team members can get rid of the perception that bounty participants are the sole reason why tokens and coin dump after listing. remember some investors also dump their share of the coins if they lose faith in the project and this can make the price of the coin crash very hard.

This has been discussed a lot of times already. In almost all the cases, it is the project team and the promoters who are responsible for the dumping. Bounty pool for any project ranges from 0.5% to 2% and with that much tokens it is not possible to crash the exchange rates. Bounty hunters make up a group of convenient scapegoats and the project teams have been using them as an excuse to hide their own dumping practices.

It is a good idea, but it is only great when they limit the participants to the campaign. This will ensure that the bounty hunter will receive a fair amount of money when participating in the campaign. Like the campaign I'm in, they are not limited to participants and each person will end up receiving only a few dollars because certainly there will be a lot of people participating in it.

But, I hate it when people are talking about the projects getting and collecting money to fund the project via their made up coin as something normal. There is 2 things there that makes no sense to me at all and would basically stay away and never invest to them just because of this reason to begin with.

First of all, them paying you with their coin means that they already pre-mined coins, which means they still have a ton of that coin and that is centralization, why would I want to invest into something that some guy created 100% of it to himself to begin with? Dude could sell tens of millions of dollars worth of it all in one sit if he wants to after the price goes up, that is central power and I hate it.

Secondly they created some made up coin and want you to accept that, I can print out fake dollars with clowns instead of founding fathers on it and pay that to people and will they accept it? Not at all.

Back in the day there was a ton of projects that gave ethereum for bounties, well it wasn't called bounties in the early days, it was just "rewards" by that time and not turned into like a money making stuff. Usually people who would like to fund or invest into those coins but didn't had money were offered a choice to participate and have a chance to earn some, and that was given in ethereum because investors gave ethereum to ICO and they would have a lot, so they took out loans or line of credit basically to cover that and when the funding was over they paid it back with the funds they got.

Nowadays it is more like people actually make it into a job thing and there are tons of projects that end up giving their own token because people you give it to do not really care about the project at all, the project could burn and die after they leave for all they care, which is why I think it is not really properly done anymore.

If payments are made in usdt there won't be worries about price loss or dumps but not all bounties that pays on their tokens lose value even while trading is on, I think bounty hunters should start choosing quality projects only because not all projects will have usdt to pay
Exactly like that, but the thing that people care about and worry about is the number of people participating in bounty. If bounty is not limited to participants, I believe there will be thousands of participants and each person will only receive a few cents from bounty.

I know this have been discussed several times on this forum but yet I will like to drop this again, I'm sure few new developers are among us here, so here we go

It will be a whole new story if new projects can start paying bounty hunters in USD or stablecoin, this have few advantages over paying with your own tokens, if new projects find it as a most for people to try out their new Blockchain they should use airdrops instead, airdrops has the lowest rewards, hardly to get 2$ in airdrops today

As for bounties please start paying in USDT, DAI or USDC, this will erase your sense of 'bounty hunters are killing new projects' idea

You offer a great solution, but will the project creators want to do that? Personally, I see the situation like this. If I launch my project, then I want it to be successful and I will do everything for this, including paying for advertising with real money. This applies to the participants of the bounty. We are essentially advertising agents, so why don’t we receive our award immediately and in a stable cryptocurrency ?! Yes, this is a great idea and can solve a number of problems in the industry, namely, to restore confidence in projects from the side of the bounty participants and to restore confidence from investors. Since the latter will see that the project is paying, that is, it is fulfilling its obligations, which means that you can deal with it. In general, the whole problem comes down to the time of payment.

It is simple most of the projects started from scratch they cannot afford to pay any stablecoin, they are trying to promote their project hoping to attract investors to invest in their project. To be honest, bounties now is not really an effective promotion only projects with their own funds can survive but those project that is only depending on their sales are left to dust and turn to scam or sh*tcoins. Bounty hunters cannot really demand these things, bounty hunting is like a gamble there is no assurance if you are going to get paid for your efforts or not.

Depending on the project, if they believe in the project, it will not be a problem paying with USD or other coins.
whereas if not they will continue to pay using their coins to reduce the expenses obtained after collecting funds.
It's free for you to create a comparison between how much projects that successfully to paid its own hunters with their own tokens compared with another project that used stable coin.
I would say when you were getting paid with the token and you will be betting on how much you will receive for sure. Can they believe if the price has already plunged almost 100% before the bounty has already distributed?

Such a perspective is indeed very good. using stable coins, or even using bitcoin or ethereum will be an excellent payment for bounty hunters. in addition to reducing the large-scale dump receipt caused by bounty hunters, it also makes our trust increase. it's just that, so many factors prevent it. even when a project has a market and bounties, they prefer to pay using their tokens
only rich dev team that able to paid bounty hunter using bitcoin , ethereum or other major coin. actually using this major coins could help developer team to keep their price stable, as we know many hunter dumped their reward when received reward. and also investors will trust more to this projects, they will thinking dev team serious to developt project and keep price.

Like the campaign I participated in, they made payments with ETH. It has attracted a lot of participants, but they are not limited to participants. It will make each person's reward reduced and only receive a few cents after the bounty ends

At least you will be paid, not like those promising you Heaven but after the campaign they will run and leave you crying.

I respect those Bounties that pays either Bitcoin or Ethereum(or at least other currencies that has already value in exchange)

this is a very fair treatment of Dev to their campaigner because those are the one involved in their success.

But I think it doesn't deserve their job, work for 2 months and get $ 5-10 from it? Are you happy to receive it?

This is one the requirement of the bounty community kept asking the companies for many years, but till now, no such company has implemented, paying the bounty hunters in the form of the stable coins. As a part-time worker, we are not getting actually price rewards for the work we do, but we cannot do anything about the bounty payments.
New projects will not bounty programs that they hold that pay with stable coins because they do not have spare money to pay the hunters and they also raise funds in sales to build projects so it is impossible that new projects will pay with stable coins is impossible except for projects that already have more reserve funds than that.

but in reality not all bounties will pay with stable coins, those who make payments with only projects that already have enough funds, those who don't have enough funds will still pay with tokens

Yes, and the terms of payment have also been explained on each page of the project campaign when the project campaign was launched into this forum, so I don't think there is anything to be debated here regarding payments to bounty participants.

yes, it is true that this is indeed often discussed. and there are also those who propose to be paid with bitcoin, etherum, or even dollars. because some bounty hunters have the viewpoint that the most important thing is the calculation between the total stake gained and the payment to be received. but it doesn't have to be a project token, because it certainly takes a long time. but paying with personal tokens is also positive for the owner of the project itself, as well as promoting tokens to the public market.

There are very few bounty to pay with stablecoin or altcoin in this market, and if they do, their budget will be very low and bounty hunters will not be able to profit when participating in those bounty.

Even if you see bounty projects that want to pay bounty hunters in stablecoin the bounty allocation won't be much compared to getting paid in tokens, presently a new bounty project shows up in bounties section that wants to pay bounty hunters in 10,000USDT for all Campaigns, for me who only focused on signature campaign the all allocation is just 2000$ and limited participants of 100 hunters, tell me how good this is

Well, that is only for projects that already operate and have budget, or you can see some bounties but with very small budget. The essence of bounty is that they use their own tokens to reward the hunter, so they almost lose nothing when it's the token they create themselves.

yes, if the bounty project pays the bounty hunter using a stable coin of course it can kill a new project idea and that's not too bad than getting tokens that might not be useful or not have a high selling price. but you don't need to bother, if you want a real prize then you still have the opportunity to join a project that pays using BTC.
