Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era.

Looking at the graph of the cases in Nevada, there is really a need for the local government to make a strategy and way to lessen the number of cases. And that is make a crucial decision to close the establishments for the meantime and prevent hard headed tourists and gamblers from entering the main cities without a valid reason. I know many countries are relaxing their soft lockdowns but it depends on the situation or it is case to case basis for each country or area and it is not always the same comparing areas. Las Vegas is a different case altogether. They better decide what is more important, the economy or the health of their constituents.

Some countries are still in lockdown and the so called government has nothing to do with it. Some had lost control over their movements with knowing what the future holds for them. Most of local gambling platforms have a shop operated by agents where bettors, gamblers go for placing a bet. This will really affect the case of Las Vegas as US records a good number of cases and covid 19 wouldn't come to end soon, Soviet would advice gamblers residing in Las Vegas to stay out of casino hall until this pandemic is over. 

Now, some countries are trying to reopen the lockdown, and apply the new normal which can give the chance for the casino to reopen their business too. Las Vegas as a place for many local casinos already reopen their place and invite the gambler to come to their casino and play the games. I am sure the local government can work together with the casino to use some rules for the gambler if they want to play gambling in the casino. In this pandemic, it is important to protect people in the casino, and I am sure that the casino itself will limit the number of gamblers who can enter the room.

I think not all government could not handle some organizations that are doing in their own violating the rules that has been set by the government. Of course, they can attempt to ask for the permission but if were to decide it is not still a good way to proceed opening up crowd gathering events like this. Even if we are adapting the new normal it seems that the virus is still there and still no vaccine for it. It is costly to get infected by this virus. So organizers violating government rules and regulations will have to face the consequences.

First thing i had remembered wayback that numbers arent really that big for me to worry but this time i cant really just believe on how far this virus do affect globally.Each country do already set out their

Las Vegas    623,747 is in 31st place for cities population of US cities, so a spike, cluster or "2nd wave" will spread unchecked.

Definitely it is allowed to smoke and drink inside a casino that is why many people see entering into a casino can gives them more fun than entering into clubs.

Smoke absorbent may not be the reason for anyone to get affected by Corona but it can cause lot other respiratory issues which will make the condition worse of they got corona somewhere.

There is a study conducted (can't remember where) that the person is more prone in enclosed areas so if a carrier went to an enclosed area where it is not ventilated then the people out there are more prone to the virus and it can be transferred airborne there.

The ventilation of the casino you went would help the reduction of spreading of virus and instead of going there, better not to go to have no risk .

Well, even they are the epicenter of the virus the country still opened some of the casinos but at least there are protocols to be followed then maybe it is still good :X.

I think that conditions changed after thiis pandemic happened. I.mean not just in casinos and night clubs but elswhere in all indoor spaces. They need to obey much harsher hygene and health measures and that is for good of all of us. Although I can understand that for long time sone people will stll avoid places like casinos.

Wearing is already mandated for most businesses and establishments. And if the customer or gambler doesn't have the mask, they are not allowed to enter the premises.
In reality, wearing mask is helpful but it's not enough to be fully safe. It will still depend how the person will be careful once he's inside the casino.

Yes, that is right. Some governments still figure out how to handle the economy that has trying to start, including some events that want to reopen. But if some organizations are violating the rules, the government will give warning to them, and if necessary, the organizations can get punishment. The government will discuss with the other elements which contribute to the events, so they can permit the event to start or not. I am sure that if everything is okay, the event will reopen with the term and conditions.

The problem is also that air travels from abroad are still fairly limited, going by car seems fine and being in big casinos with a lot of space for social distancing it's alright. But being in an airplane for hours with plenty of people fairly close around doesn't seem so clever. That's just the basic requirement where everyone has to follow, if we can't follow that basic protocol then there is no reason casinos will still operate.
As of now, there's no report yet that vegas is a threat so they should close back, people adopt with the policy and the operation is going smooth.

In reality, wearing mask is helpful but it's not enough to be fully safe. It will still depend how the person will be careful once he's inside the casino.

Of course, people understands that and those who are still taking risk, they know they are strong and if ever they got infected, they are confident they will recover.

ROFLMAO.... Here in India, you need to wear a PPE kit for the entire duration in case you want to travel in flight. The kit is being provided by the airlines and they are charging around $15 from the passenger for that. Since it is affordable, no one is complaining. But these measures hasn't slowed down the spread of COVID 19 pandemic here. Nowadays on average we are having ~40,000 new cases per day.

Well, we don't know if their lives is worth to risk but I hope they are doing well though the fact that the cases in Nevada is increasing means they are not that well. They allowed the casinos to open but they are not strict when it comes to protocol to be followed.

in about 36 hours time in the Greater Melbourne City and the Mitchell Shires to the north east of Melbourne it will be mandatory for all persons to wear facemasks in public places so it'd be interesting what people would be expected to do at the Crown Casino Melbourne (or any banks for that matter) if they were open instead of in a six week lockdown (week two so far) due to a second wave of infections due to unacceptable security breaches of recent arrivals/persons in lockdown.

Las Vegas will be hit hard with a second and third waves of Covid-19 through a lack of social distancing as well as PPE (facemasks etc).  The USA is edging closer to 100,000 new cases per day.  It isn't a sustainable number - think in terms of critical mass.
