Yes, I do agree that most of us here still uses Electrum, but Bitamp could be a good alternative if they have a friendly mobile app that we can carry with us any time.

In terms of convenience, the mobile app is not necessary as accessing it thru our mobile browser is user-friendly.

Just did a quick browse at the wallet's interface on my mobile's stock browser and it's smooth.

Next will be, using the wallet for its purpose.

I disagree though, there are crypto users who prefer to used their mobile apps for everything related to their crypto activity, that's why Binance has it's own mobile version, even coins.ph (Philippine local exchange) has it's own mobile.

Besides, it's a good gauge how 'many' are using your apps with the amount of downloads you got, might not be an accurate picture, but still you know that someone is using your apps.

In any case, we will just have to wait for Bitamp developers as it is in their roadmap if I'm not mistaken.

I agree, I'm only seeing that they have only one social media account which is Twitter and it is not active today. Social media today is one of the best way to promote a product and there are good times to promote it as well. You can take advantage of the recent bitcoin bull run and promote the wallet into social media, I'm pretty sure that some strangers would develop a curiosity and could probably take the chance of using bitamp wallet.

I am saying the same thing, just investment is not enough! If you really believe in something you should support it, and you do that by using it and spreading the word around. It's how we came to this point, it's 2020 and crypto is stronger than ever before!

I think being active on social medias is very important for every crypto service! Explanations and tutorials, promotions and giveaways, maybe some events (for bitamp wallet users), are just some ways to make people more interested! Almost everyone has cellular so I think this is a lot of demand for mobile applications that should be available immediately because it has become their convenience when using it, I know this is very wallet-friendly at Bitamp even I feel it on computers and mobile accessing the website. there is no problem at all.
So, Bitamp is a new storage area and continues to carry out promotions to attract many people to use it, including I am happy that there is an environmentally friendly Bitamp wallet in my opinion.

I agree with this one where marketing isnt really just trying to spread out without any setting of plans on how to make it effective.

A bit late on discovering up this wallet but i would tend to make use of this one and will give out my feedbacks later on.

Not necessarily. Marketing doesn't have to cost you thousands of dollars or blow your budget. Take this forum thread, for example, marketing can require nothing more than investing some of your time.

New user of bitamp wallet here and have a quick question aside from web wallet is there any app available? I search it on google playstore but I can't find it. Also I find the exchange is in development hopefully xrp and USDT will be added since this is more adopted by the traders.

Anyways I love the site so far  since look good to my eyes.

AFAIK, there still no mobile apps of this wallet available on playstore or in there official website. I'm waiting too on there mobile a so that I can finally replace my electrum wallet with there official mobile app. I really like the simplicity and easy to use of there Web wallet, I hope that they can do it the same on there mobile apps soon.

Can't wait. I hope that Bitamp support will read and answer our request.

Oh that's why there's no result  showing when I try to search it on playstore but hopefully bitamp devs will create this since this is the most convenient for us and wallet app is more handy and so useful especially if we are out and away on our computer.

They need to level up there wallet in to a mobile version before they need to start an aggressive marketing. If they want that to happened, I think they need to add the mobile version of there wallet to target the majority of the crypto user especially on crypto wallet market. A wallet means you can easy access just like 1 tap on the app then you can transfer easily funds.

Web wallet and windows wallet is not that famous because there's a lot of danger on accessing it. User are prone on different malware that can exploit there wallet. A banner in coinmarketcap.com is not that reliable on getting a real user, Most the people using coinmarketcap is not clicking ads and also, many scam project already put ads there so I believe CMC doesn't care what project being advertised there.

You forget a rule that trading on mobile is bad. Store crypto on mobile is bad. You can do it with very small amount of your crypto and please do it with your bigger part on your computers.

It is each person responsibility to keep their devices are clean. If they don't do stupid things, their devices will not be compromised.

Advertisements with banners need traffics and I don't doubt on the traffic of coinmarketcap.com. I have been searching for a trustworthy open-source wallet for a long time. There were just desktop applications. Because of that, I wasn't able to access the wallet from my phone. Bitamp has solved my problem very nicely. From now on, I can enter the wallet from my phone through a browser. I hope that Turkish language support can be provided soon too.

I think it should solve a lot of people's problems. Crypto has long struggled to attract newcomers because of the degree of technical expertise required to even create a wallet. The Bitamp wallet is very good at what it does, and the ease of use is very impressive. You can literally set up a wallet in a couple of clicks. No confusing jargon for newcomers, extremely clean and straightforward interface. All good.

I know others have suggested having a manual fee option, but I don't think this would be a good idea. I think the priority/regular/slow options are all that is required and helps to maintain that simple interface, which should help to draw in newcomers who might feel apprehensive if they were faced with too much jargon. Perhaps a little comment somewhere (in the FAQs?) explaining the difference might help, and that 'priority' is more expensive (and maybe detail how much more expensive). That comment is my only real suggestion for potential improvements, it's a great wallet and extremely good at what it tries to do.

What will it take for banks to finally accept cryptocurrency as a legitimate means of transferring value?

Demand. Banks are businesses at the end of the day, and they will take whichever route they deem as money making or growing their business. Crypto is a threat now because it seems to directly challenge their authority and systems but if their existing customers and investors were to say: offer crypto or I leave, then they’d play ball. Simple as that.
