I'm looking to gauge the interest on a 1oz Gold Wallet. Would anyone be interested in that?

One thing i should have posted a while back but been busy. Got to see some of these in Chicago during a bitcoin conference. They do look great, and everyone at their vendor area was very nice as well. Was good to great to meet them there. Extremely nice company from talking to them, even spent time talking to me about grades of coins.
Thanks for the feedback! It was really nice to get out and meet so many faces. Thanks for stopping by.

Due to the cost of one ounce of Gold, I would personally prefer a 1/2 ounce.

Due to the cost of one ounce of Gold, I would personally prefer a 1/2 ounce. I agree that this would likely do better in the market

Like your idea on the 1 oz gold wallet, maybe even a short run of these unless you get your usual tsunami of orders

Due to the cost of one ounce of Gold, I would personally prefer a 1/2 ounce. I thought of that as well but the our dies are already set for 1oz. If we did half ounces we would have to create all new dies and that just adds a huge cost for such a small run (presumably small I don't know the interest)

Like your idea on the 1 oz gold wallet, maybe even a short run of these unless you get your usual tsunami of orders We were thinking of doing a short run, the cost over spot is absurd though. To make it even worth while we would have to do at least 50.

I would have loved to get one of those gold coins, but with the cost of 1 oz of gold at around $1300, and the markup of $450, plus the funded BTC, the cost became too rich for me. Hoping you can do something to make the cost of your coin more affordable.

In order to take premiums down, there needs to be a very large number minted. This means a huge investment of capital (imagine buying 500oz of gold to mint 500 coins...which you will need to keep reasonable premiums). Only when the market exists for 500 1oz gold coins to sell fairly quickly, will they be very well priced. I believe the day will come, but not yet.

Actually the stamp fee plus spot price for individual coins is absurd, at 10 coins stamp fee goes down and at 50 coins it goes down again. Titans price of $450 over spot on 1oz gold is pretty spot on when you consider the stamp fee. We would be similarly priced if not slightly less. Trust me it's not us, it's the mint. As I said though to get it even that low would have to be an order of 50.

I would be interested in a Gold wallet (NOT PLATING). Serial #11 My guess is you would be far cheaper than Titan since you don't include the 1BTC in private key/printing, etc. If you do a 1/2oz coin, I would be interested in that as well.

Hey guys the Mint had a slight delay. They are shipping them to us via three day shipping and will go out today or Monday. We will have them on Wed/Thursday next week and I will be shipping them prior to heading to the Raleigh conference. I'll shoot everyone their tracking info as soon as I get them in the mail.

One business day delay? That's just unacceptable in Bitcoin. Ha! Way better than Two weeks. Just kidding. Thanks for the update.
