Decentralized sharing
economy protocol

using the EOS blockchain

  • Open source and community managed
  • No data reselling
  • No deplatforming
  • No exploitation of monopoly position

Sharing economy platforms are

123456789101112131415161718192021
The sharing economy is booming.
But power is skewed towards the
platforms such as Uber, AirBnB
and Upwork. It's hard for
competitors to attract buyers and
sellers. Leading sharing economy
marketplaces become monopolies,
an advantage they exploit to
extract a large portion of value.

Why build on TimeCoinProtocol

TimeCoinProtocol provides a platform on which to build

Decentralized Applications
Decentralized applications (dApps) through
which the sharing economy is realized via the
peer-to-peer trading of products and
services.

Application Common Libraries
The TCP Application Common Libraries are
a JavaScript-based catalog of developer tools
which are openly accessible to all TCP
developers.

Open Source Search Server
The Open Source Search Server provides a
search function will allow users to search for
products and services in TCP dApps.

TimeCoinProtocol
The protocol offers a number of functions
including account management, dApp
browsing, product or service transactions,
settlement, scoring, and token reward
allocation. The protocol acts as an
intermediary system which facilitates
interactions between dApps, IPFS and
the EOS blockchain as well as external
arbitrators and oracles where necessary.

InterPlanetary File System (IPFS)
A distributed storage facility called the
InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) which
holds the product and service
information for dApps.

EOS Blockchain
The EOS blockchain upon which TCP runs.

Reward
mechanism

A portion of TimeCoin tokens earned and transaction fees
are redistributed to users of the platform.
Rewards are proportionate to contributes regardless of
contribution type. i.e. loyalty, numbers of transactions,
size of transactions, growing the network, supporting
the operation of the network.

TimeTicket’s Sales have increased more than thirtyfold in
the past three years and half. The platform has now
reached approximately 250,000 active users and annual
transactions in excess of 12,000. This makes TimeTicket
one of the fastest growing sharing economy platforms
currently operating. TimeTicket is currently only available
in Japanese, but as TimeTicket expands to new markets
TimeTicket’s conversion rate, repeat user rate, and the
average lifetime of active users is comparable to some
of the world’s most successful online companies.
During 2018, 6% of users continued to trade three
months after their first use of a TimeTicket service.
This is on par with the activity of repeat purchasers
on successful e-commerce websites such as
Amazon, Flipkart, and eBay.

How can TimeCoinProtocol change the market?

The modern sharing economy market has a number of issues that have been discussed numerous times, but still have no solutions.

First of all, the centralized sharing economy is dominated by a handful of key players such as Uber, Airbnb, WeWork, Upwork, and Fiverr. These are the companies that decide on the size of commission that users have to pay. Hidden costs, commissions and other fees tally up and can reach up to 30-40% from the cost of services for the end-user!

The second major issue is the fact that users cannot carry the creditworthiness they accrue with one service to another, forcing them to start afresh with each new platform they join. This stifles healthy competition and results in disaffected users staying with platforms out of necessity rather than desire.

Another problem is that of privacy (the issue of personal data collection and storage). To use the system you must register, and thus provide your data, which can later be stolen or transferred to third parties.

Several companies dominating the market stifles healthy competition — new players find it hard to enter the market.

A final, significant problem synonymous with sharing economy marketplaces concerns dispute resolution and the behavior of unscrupulous clients.

By implementing the TimeCoinProtocol project we want to transform the sharing economy market, making it more transparent, secure and convenient.

TimeCoinProtocol is designed to overcome the bottlenecks that currently prevent the sharing economy from realizing its full economic and social value. Particular attention has been given to the development of a sophisticated and robust reward system to ensure that value accrues to active contributors. Every user who contributes to the ecosystem will receive token rewards proportionate to the work that they have performed.

Press about us :
TimeCoinProtocol Making Headlines!

TimeCoinProtocol is gaining more and more traction in the cryptocommunity, so international media couldn't pass up on the story!

For the shared economy to grow as projected, a few changes in the industry’s fundamentals need to be implemented. First, blockchain has made it possible to do away with centralization so that fair compensation and competition can thrive. Therefore, borrowing a leaf from the tech that supports Bitcoin would in fact scale participation and edge out monopolies who are already choking shared economies.

To find out how TimeCoinProtocol is pushing the envelope, see a Nulltx article here:

https://nulltx.com/investments-in-the-sharing-economy-protocols-can-be-more-profitable-and-safer-than-investments-in-startups/

Hi Dev, I noticed there are fresh accounts commenting one after another. If the mod noticed that they created their account just to bump or spam the thread to hype up this project, they will delete their posts. You can always have your audience here if the community see that your project is solid and substantial. It will take time but people will see your platform. Good luck!

Thanks so much for your support! It is likely that these new accounts are users who came for us from other social networks. We made an announcement and told our community about what we now have on bitcointalk. We are sure that over time they will get used to this forum.

Hi Dev, I noticed there are fresh accounts commenting one after another. If the mod noticed that they created their account just to bump or spam the thread to hype up this project, they will delete their posts. You can always have your audience here if the community see that your project is solid and substantial. It will take time but people will see your platform. Good luck!

now it is very difficult to move in this market and investors should clearly understand how much income they can get in this case the project will be able to get maximum support

I liked what the team is doing now
at least these are solutions that can change the economy
I hope that the project will be fully implemented and the team will clearly follow the road map

I can get a good income !
I think this will be something important for early investors !

being a newbie here in the forum, are you by any chance a newbie also in crypto? how can you be so sure that you get good income from this project? what do you think are the possible reasons that this will click with early investors? i have seen a lot of promising projects, good team, well-written whitepaper but in the end, they were just abandoned by their respective dev team. so don't conclude this early that you will get what you need from this project.

now comments do not raise the topic in the top .
I don't see the point in this , but many newcomers just want to get a new rank for their accounts

I am sure that all these people came to support us after we told them that we are now on this forum. I don’t think they’ve conceived anything bad.

This is of course interesting when economic network allows people to exchange resources. Can you tell more specific which problems your project solves?

What Politicians Say About Sharing Economy?

Sharing economy breaks the traditional model of consumption and helps people save time and resources. Director of Legal and Economic Affairs at the European Consumer Organisation (BEUC) Guillermo Beltrà said: “The sharing economy is a phenomenon which profoundly changes the way consumers buy or rent goods and services”. European consumers can take advantage of this system in a number of ways. For example, the system allows one to rent a house, hire an architect or a lawyer – and for a very competitive price too.

New Internet platforms enable consumers to share goods and services. It is now easier than ever to safely share a ride with a complete stranger. Or borrow power tools for renovation from your neighbour with whom you haven’t even spoken to ever. This system allows people and businesses to put up their property, for instance, real estate or cars, for rent, and get something valuable in return.

If this bumping continues without anything done like a bounty thread created, this project will just be buried in a pile of ANN threads. I'm an EOS fan myself. I have some tokens and if this project is running on EOS, would this mean that Timeprotocol goes through the process like the incubator in which the Blockone incubator will probe the project?

at the moment there are already partners with whom you plan to cooperate ?
in other words I would like to understand how much the project will be in demand at the initial stages

We are planning new partnerships. Follow our news. We will make announcements every time such an agreement is reached.

is there some sort of affiliate program or something like that ?
and how the team will be able to make the project popular as competition on the market is huge

Check out our WP. Our project in itself is focused on increasing competitiveness and resisting the monopoly of large players.

We will  do our best for this. Smiley

What about Asian marketing? Have you already started it?

Sure. At this stage, we intend to enter the international market.

How the current TimeTicket works

As you may already know, we have a DApp — TimeTicket. TimeTicket is a mature sharing economy marketplace from the team behind TimeCoinProtocol. 250,000 TimeTicket users will become users of TimeCoinProtocol once ported over.

Today we would like to expand upon how the current version of TimeTicket works:

Sellers, known as hosts, can post listings to sell their knowledge and/or skills. Prospective buyers, known as guests, can search for hosts by both geographic locations and by their knowledge and skills. Once a guest identifies a suitable host, they purchase a ‘ticket’ — a token which entitles the bearer to a set portion of time in which the host should perform the pre agreed service — and a meeting is scheduled. The time and location of the meeting are determined by the user and can take place face-to-face, online, over the phone, or via
message.

Users appreciate this mechanism as TimeTicket is one of the fastest-growing sharing economy platforms in the world!

We will outline our future plans in our roadmap. We will add it to our WP very soon. Please stay tuned.

Hello team !
what about listing on exchanges ?
any news yet ?

https://www.timecoinprotocol.com/timecoinsale/
Listing is possible not earlier than the token sale ends. At this stage, we have not even begun private sale.

I liked what the team is doing now
at least these are solutions that can change the economy
I hope that the project will be fully implemented and the team will clearly follow the road map

I don't really understand this is a fully working project ?
I just want to understand what the team will tell us and what solutions they can offer for the community .

How can TimeCoinProtocol change the market?

📌The modern sharing economy market has a number of issues that have been discussed numerous times, but still have no solutions.

🔗First of all, the centralized sharing economy is dominated by a handful of key players such as Uber, Airbnb, WeWork, Upwork, and Fiverr.

Is this one of your projects that uses similar technologies ?
And who else are you negotiating cooperation with ?

as I understand it this will really be one of the examples of a worthwhile project !
however now it is difficult for me to understand and draw conclusions as I need more information about potential partners and with whom negotiations are currently being held
