I just want to give a shout out to Bitcasino.io

a couple weeks ago, my account was hacked.  It was my own fault, I didn't have 2fa set up.     I've now fixed that issue, my account is secure (i hope).    In that ordeal, the hackers withdrew around 11mbtc.  Not a huge amount, but still.    was not thrilled about it.

Bitcasino just sent me a note that they are going to give me some free spins for the amount that was taken from my account.     Did they have to do that? no.    Of course i'm happy about this, but I also feel this was the correct move as they have proven themselves to be more than trustworthy and will continue to play there.  And I'm sure they know they'll get much more than that from me.  :-)

I can't help but think that the timing of this post was just off. Although Bitcasino already gave a sensible explanation to the 171 bitcoin "won" by a certain LAngel, this still sounded like a PR move.  

Anyways, congrats on getting your account back if your story is true. Did they ask you for a full KYC?

I almost believe on his public stint about those 171 BTC won since it's so convincing especially when he have video as proof of his claims but gladly bitcasino explains everything clearly and now he is busted lying that's why the tables has been turned down right now.

This shows that bitcasino is good for explaining things regarding if theirs an issue with their site.
Same perception when i do first read up on whats been posted on here which do really looks a PR to me but as other confirmed base of on users history then it turns out to be not.
Bitcasino is just getting some attention lately due because of that 171 BTC win but at least they do able to give solid explanation towards the situation.
For op, its good to hear that they do at least give out some free spins and as other said you should locked up this thread to prevent further replies.

I don't know but why does it feels like this is promoted or a way to bring back the image of Bitcasino.io? Its accounts in this forum was red-tagged hence I don't really trust such platforms. And what is really the idea of making a thread just to make a review? this kind of thread doesn't belong here, better move this onto Service Discussion as it fits your thread's idea perfectly.

Enough said, giving you free spins isn't a good idea at all. If you were the one who made fault, you shouldn't be rewarded with it. It's funny that they gave you spins despite your shortcomings. It can be abused by anyone, hence i still woulnd't trust this.

This is what i was thinking too, a thread to shower kindness, since LAngel already confirmed that he is a cheating fuck there is no way the casino should send anything and they did the right thing by not encouraging cheaters to get away with intimidation tactics to get the money out by starting a thread here but the casino gave a solid response and hence it is fair.

Definitely a PR move from the Casino to keep their frustrated player due to hack.  It is a nice move indeed, I commend Bitcasino.io in providing calming action towards their hacked player.   I bet OP had learned his lesson to always enable 2fa or any secondary layer of security to his account.  I hope every Casino will act the same way as Bitcasino in dealing with the same situation.

I haven't thought of this until you have said it. There's a possibility but if the story is real then what they've done to uplift the customer is a good move. Yes, let's all wish that others will also do the same thing although they are not oblige to do it if they find no fault on their end.

I likexthe way you said that they cab get much more from you. Actually they are just giving you time or effort for your account and gives you only a little motivation to continue using their platform. Every client is their interest for them also to earn.

However, I admit though that in other side Bitcasino had showed what a real value of a client could be. Attitude really matter. Yet, I could also think wha if the amount being hack was more than 2 or more btc, are they willing to make a refund or give free spins?

There could be scenario like this but not being publicized for a certain reason and that is to prevail dignity over platform to where gamers account could be hack wether it is the user's fault or the system itself.

Bitcasino is a quite old casino because I remember a few years back I used to bet on lucky7 or something similar named game that was being offered live and we could see the lady spinning the machine and the balls with different numbers would come out and I used to be addicted to betting there on the total of the 7 balls. I never had any issue with them and I wasn't hacked but they always used to send me some nice offers via email so I am happy they offered you free bets and made up for the 1mBTC you lost.

The only reason I stopped gambling there was because their bonuses came with impossible wager requirements and I was not a huge fan of such wagers and even deposits were hard to roll over to withdraw them. Well, let us assume that is a legitimate claim that Bitcasino granted the OP claim. This is rare to the most gambling casino, --because when you will get hacked, the gambling owner will not be reliable on your mistake because that is your mistake. bitcasino.io is a scam. they closed there old account because they were red trusted tons. They have a long histoty of stealing funds, scammy tatcics, kyc fraud, and many many other suspect things with over 100 scam accuastions going back years, i would  not trust them with 50 cents far less 11 mbtc they lie and will use every trick to scam you

You should post the links then, it's important to inform the members who will trust this gambling platform because of that move. If it's a bad actor in reality you should aware people properly.

I don't think the amount would change anything because the casino did not meant to recover money lost to the gambler but they just wanted to make sure their customer does not feel upset because of what happened and they greeted him with spins so that he can forget about the hack mvoing forward while if can we win back some lost money via free spins it is always a great bonus.

Agree with this! This is a way of handling out frustrated user/customer for them to retain and wont really turn their backs.I can say this was a good move and as said that not all casinos

would really consider out such step on giving out free spins even if a certain user do experience hack or loss of funds.This might be a simple step or move but it is effective on

yeah, it felt like a PR move from your side even though it is not. I think the OP just felt the need to support you because of the scam attempt and drama LAngels caused. he probably expressing his gratitude for compensating(which I think not many gambling casinos do and I applaud you for that) what he lost when his account got hacked was probably the best way to support you.

i've lost at least $1000 to this casino over the past couple weeks.    Over the weekend, I get an email saying that they suspect suspicious activity with a login from a new device in sweden.  I didn't see this email.   later that day my account balance is drained to two separate bitcoin addresses.   it was about 15 mbtc.   also,  I didn't have 2fa set up (dumb, I know) .. but NOW google authenticator is setup by these scammers and i'm completely locked out of my account.

I send a note to security@bitcasino.io.  they finally get back to me after a couple days saying they don't find anything suspicious.

So..

1)  I would like them to refund my money..  --- i know this is reaching and understand that this probably won't happen..  BUT if they did, i'm sure i'd lose it and more eventually, so they would win.. but whatever. . I understand they're not responsible for me not having my account locked down correctly.  BUT a gent can ask, right?  :-)

2) I would like them to unlock my account so I can play..  

i mean they send me an email suspecting suspicious activity,  then they say they don't see any suspicious activity?     I love this casino..  it's just a shame..
