ETH to hold now or not?

Right now, i would say, HOLD it. The price of BTC has almost reached its all-time high, i believe ETH would be the next one.

HOLD is the right choice now, don't miss the increase in bitcoin prices this year,
and don't let you follow the panic sell, because when you are bullish there are many traps made by the whales.

Personally, seeing the current developments, I am really excited to go back to holding back and gathering ethereum as best I can. Well, we do know that currently Ethereum prices are very close to $ 600, and could most likely hit $ 700 by the end of the year. Well, looking at the chart from the beginning of the year made me think that ethereum could catch up with its ATH price.

Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.

I don't think it's because of Defi, the Ethereum Hype managed to come because of the Hype of Ethereum 2.0,
and I also saw CZ shrank on Twitter that he invested in Ethereum, of course this made Ethereum bullish.

In my opinion Ethereum is more becoming like digital silver of crypto But due to its more technical and smart contract nature. It has more importance in cryptocurrecy space. i see it really go along with btc. make new all time high. So i am not worry any more holding eth.

In my opinion, we should divide into small numbers to sell gradually. Because the crypto market can reverse at any moment, we wouldn't know in advance. Although a large amount of money is currently being pumped into ETH and other top coins, this won't last for too long. now that there are almost no ico that are around but why eth has now recovered and going straight to 1k ? it could be that its because of defi . defi have some simillarities with ico and it could also be because of btc that are now pumping .

 most people sold thier eth now at this price because the price wasnt that bad at all and this was the only time that eth grewed , it was a long wait for those that have hodl thier eth after they missed the pump last time .

The ICO is over, and now it's Trend Defi time. Its trading volume is over 10 billion US dollars and that makes Ethereum hot again. This year, if Bitcoin's bull run continues, ETH could easily reach $ 1000. Staking demand is very high at the moment so you may see its hype over the next few days.
Trust me, Ethereum is sure to be one of the top coin with the highest productivity growth in 2020.

Do not forget high demand of eth due to defi and also staking coming live on eth 2.0. This is going to be massive for eth and now the next peak predictions of 6k to 10k seem realistic to me.

Ether already raise so high and everyone is talking positive and showing their interest on it.in my opinion, this is best time to hodl ether as much as you can afford to buy cause ether looking good now to have another rally. i assume, ether itself is going to repeat its ATH like 2017. yeah this is indeed a good thing. ethereum is not a low coin that is easy to decline, I think ethereum will be easy to increase to the very top. cycles like 2017 will happen to crypto this year. It's a big step and it's a really amazing thing. so hold and sell at high prices

Holding on long position from the post you have made is a nice decision. Look at the current price of ethereum this shows its leading the altcoin. Were to close the upgrade to happen in ethereum so I believe price value will moon yet we don't know at what price it will reach this time.

I mean ICO was not a reason why the price was jumped in 2017. There were lots of speculation going on, one article said it was because a person bought it and whale it so it made lot of impact and others said because the high volume of supply and demand, it is up to you for where you have to look at this.

Yes, they have "similarity". There are no real use case for both them and it can't be used in real-world case. So, both sucks. But for investment point of view it could be great.
