Was hoping for a 0-0 spectacle and VAR nearly overturned Bologna's sole goal -- Coppa Italia makes it a nice Milan Supercoppa, Bologna Italia... now Inter has to sweep up CL while Napoli finishes the job for Scudetto. Quite a nice spread for Italian football (unless Inter completes the double).

Just yellow caps for me here. This competition escaped me long, long ago. But Cro2 is ever present...

I have to say about Italy, they probably gave us the most competitive league of all the European teams. Bayern won easy, Barca was only having Real as serious rival. Bayern same with Leverkusen but you never really knew in Italy until lately that it was Inter or Napoli. Atalanta really got many losses that didn't help.

English vs Italy teams don't have a good record tho so you would prefer not to have many of them in Europe cups

Crazy round and how both Inter and Napoli wasted their opportunites. Watched Inter - Lazio and it was such roller-coaster, mainly thanks to good old Pedro.
Scudetto winner decided on last round - something what happens extremely rarely in Serie A, if I'm not mistaken just 2nd time in maybe 15 years. And I just remind that if they both will end with same number of points, extra golden game on neutral pitch would be played. Well, I wouldn't be against to see this.
But for now Napoli have everything in their hands.

Yeah both were a disaster and seems like nobody wants to be the champion at all. Napoli with a 0-0 against a weak Parma and Inter having the chance to take the lead and letting it go in the last minute is crazy.
I can feel how the soul comesback to the Napoli fans in south Italy.

Now only one more round, i dont think Inter have another chance.

Nothing for me to play for but a final yellow cap, so I tried to put in some surprises but banked on the "sure" things. It's strange that the games don't all play tonight, but I suppose the only ones that matter for the title both play -- seem to recall that this is usual in Italy, but can't actually pinpoint it.

Must be because if both end up on same points, then we get a playoff -- and they need to do it by next weekend before 31 May I suppose?

Second place ain't too bad.  I've now finished first, second, and third in this pool the last five years.  A bit shocked by my good rank, given that i hadn't been following the league as closely as i usually do.

RedBird ownership has destroyed any joy i had from watching my favorite team...even for those of us who survived the banter era Milan, this season was extra painful experience.

I don't understand how a mediocre coach like D'Aversa (relegated with Parma last season)....

Despite the poor start to the season, i don't think they'll get relegated. They have a decent squad and most importantly, Giampaolo (he along with D'Aversa might be the worst coaches in Italian football) is no longer with the team.

The thing is that no one wants to coach shit teams in Serie A anymore, the same 5-6 names are recycled over and over. He'll be back in a year or two, mark my words.

By the way, Serie A along with La Liga were the best leagues of the season? In terms of intrigue, definitely yes.

For me another dissapointing season in SerieA, i never find the taste in this competition the only change in this one was i started better than other years but i drop after the second half of the season and i went miss between lower mid tab.

By the way, last season in the EPL I made absurd choices like 1-1 on almost all games (after the first third of the season) and chose other unusual outcomes, but which could have been realized. I never won even a yellow cap. But in La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga, where everyone chooses approximately the same thing and i was doing same, I won them often.

I never won even a yellow cap. But in La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga, where everyone chooses approximately the same thing and i was doing same, I won them often.

There was a time when I liked looking at Correct Scores markets -- with a boost you can easily snatch a 3:1 or 2:0 win on a team you're highly familiar with at 10/1 or more. And it always feels like you can hit that right especially when they haven't come up with such a scoreline in ages.

Bundesliga does twist the scoring a little, so 2-1 does not always work in your favour there. Unfortunately with Superbru, 2-1 catches the most close scores (1-0, 2-0, 3-1, and 3-2) so it will always be the safest one to take. But 1-1 I think is the way to win pools. Knowing where the draws lie is key, but I'm almost phobic with draws. The outcomes I like the least, but need to learn to take more in Superbru.
