No one can dispute that especially the age and performance but there some altcoins that are of higher rate than Ethereum. When it comes to pupularity and trust, Ethereum anyways beat others. It's under the king of all altcoins. Let's anticipate more growth with this news launch.

How do you determine who is the king? What about Ripple? Take a look on Ripple "jump". If he adds $150+ million US dollar volume, it will drop Ethereum to third place on coinmarketcap.

Or you determine the kind simply by popularity? Then yes, Ethereum is the most popular and recognizable altcoin. But, if we compare speed, then Tron is the King of Kings and also the cheapest one.

By means of popularity yes Ethereum was more known altcoins than XRP but lets take a look at the crypto value graph of XRP it was amazingly unpredicatable because of its continuous price pumped. There has a lot of altcoins which has a good potential for investment. I don't want to be hypocrite with it, but i am truly a fan of Ethereum but of course i did't disregard the huge potential of other altcoins like Tron, Ripple and Binance.

Better believe it is of a fact that ethereum has been overwhelming the altcoin market for quite a while, yet I could recollect here and there that Ripple has likewise attempted to surpass ethereum, in spite of the fact that this wasn't kept going over couple of hours. There are likewise different altcoins that are progressing nicely, for instance Stellar. Ethereum needs to keeping developing/improving, otherwise it is only a matter of time before it is overthrown.

2.0 maybe in a few years. for now ETH is just too expensive to actually use.
haha now it's expensive and very expensive in fact. they are working hard to solve their gas fee issue and I am sure they will come back soon with a ready solution. It may only be a few days before we see ethereum 2.0, as they are slated for release in early December

i just saw Dec 1. to be exact.

Yes ethereum remains the king of altcoins and it will never be replaced at this moment because of its rising price and  ethereum is the  top of altcoins since the day one,but invest in other altcoins also because it can also give profits.

Now there are much more interesting projects on the cryptocurrency market than Ethereum. now, ethereum really remains the king of altcoins, but how long this will continue - no one knows.
I can't understand the meaning of your comment. Can you please clear it? Although many new altcoins have entered the market, but still Ethereum is the king of altcoins. And December 1st ETH 2.0 will launch to keep this position of Ethereum. I think the price of ETH will go up after launching of ETH 2.0 and its position in the Altcoin market will be more mature.

Among all the altcoins Ethereum must remain at the top of the hierarchy but will never cross the Bitcoin price level and the market cap. Currently, Ethereum still facing sluggishness because of uncertainty for the crypto market. Once again the price has rebound back from the price level of $612 and remained down at $500.

Because most major trends in the crypto market have to rely on the Ethereum blockchain. From ICO to Defi, NFT, most of them are tokens and projects launched on this blockchain. With such a large number of projects, ETH will remain the top 1 altcoin for a long time.

No doubt Ethereum has become of the best  and leading altcoins second to Bitcoin over the years. Ethereum has become the mother of all other altcoins based on eth blockchain technology. If you are looking for any good coin to invest in, I would advise you to look into ethereum. You will definitely make a good cash from it in no time.
With more than two years experience in trading altcoins I will definitely tell you I love trading this particular coin. I have made quite a lot from it. Not just because it's the first altcoins that I know but also the dependability of it.

In fact, not all dApp projects have been launched on the Ethereum blockchain. If I'm not mistaken, then the closest competitor in terms of the number of DAP projects launched is the Tron blockchain.
Nevertheless, he cannot beat the beloved Ethereum in popularity, just as Justin Sun does not try for this.

We have etherum bossing altcoins since time past and there has been non replica of any coin that has tried bossing etherum
Just like bitcoin is a king on its own, etherum remains a king on its own too.

Looking forward to the influence of bnb tokens, and okb tokens can have on etherum dominance.
Indeed Ethereum is the king of all other altcoins, the price alue it reached as of 2017 is remarkable, the Ethereum blockchain is like the breeding ground for most new projects, countless projects are running on the Ethereum blockchain, although lately alot of people have started doubting eth, they said Polkadot is better and indeed it is better, but we can't take anything away from Ethereum it has been the face of all altcoins for the past few years now, besides the ETH 2.0 will soon be launched, I'm hoping its going to solve the current problems facing the Ethereum blockchain.

It serve as a base for majority of the projects that has tokenised their services. When more and more things get connected to a platform, it gets affected. However we update there'll be issues. One that overcome will be more powerful in the market. One such is the ethereum, the updation is continuing. More other Blockchain with better features were developed, but everyone find something big within the ERC20 platform. This keeps everyone active on the platform and serve as the King of altcoins.

Ethereum remains the king of altcoins, but how long this would continue? no one knows for a certainty.
The dominance of Ethereum has lasted long. Though Ripple tried ones to take the lead, but the lead was short lived.
As long as Ethereum keeps being innovative, it remains the undisputed king of altcoins.

We do know that Ethereum is still the best to be the king of altcoins and that cannot be denied, it is true that many companies are still using Ethereum-based blockchain, which is why Ethereum is still strong today in all major markets, but BnB / (Binance ) which we know also have the same system as Ethereum, many big companies that use the BnB Blockchain base, Binance also has the number one exchange in the world, and it seems that Ethereum or Binance has the same power, it could be that in the future Binance will replace Ethereum , Nothing is impossible..

I am a fan and user of ethereum. although it is stored for a long time and the price fluctuates. because ethereum itself has been used in various alt coin projects that require ethereum gas fees. Hopefully ethereum achieves maximum price.

Ethereum and Ripple have very different functions, both of which are quite good for investing but you should know why ethereum is the most important in altcoin because they have many users, besides that ethereum is also one of the top coins with a good use cases. so I don't think there is any reason to compare ethereum with ripple

Both Ripple and Ethereum are cryptocurrencies that run on blockchain technology. This allows people from any location in the world to send and receive funds in seconds. Both blockchains have their unique digital coins, which you can buy and sell in many cryptocurrencies, but of course, there are advantages and disadvantages to these two altcoins, such as the shortage of eth, which currently lies in the cost of gas which is quite expensive and has advantages. eth has a large community, and market capitalization that allows eth to continue to grow in the future, while XRP has disadvantages regarding its relatively cheap price, and it is difficult to experience price increases over the past 3 years (despite the recent surge in XRP prices) XRP, of course, we all know that XRP has the speed of making every transaction that exists and compared to other altcoins XRP is the fastest in making transactions.

Even for many years that ethereum holds as the king of altcoins I can say then if ever there is a altcoins that can out rank ethereum that is I think ripple. I have seen this happen about a year ago wherein ripple seated as the top 2 in marketplace and out-shine the ethereum so this alt has a very high potential.
