~snip~
and we hope that they can give good entertainment to the audience.

They should, people are expecting this as a good fight though two are not anymore on their prime, but we are going to pay a high price for the PPV just to see the fight, so hopefully not a disappointment, otherwise, another fights like this won't sell anymore.
Other people will have the same hope as us, but we don't know it.  Hopefully, everything will be run well as the plan, and we can enjoy the fight while we can place the bet. I wonder what will be at the bookie will be when the fight is almost coming.

Maybe that will be tough fighting for both because they want to show their best performance. Sometimes, old people will show their stamina to people, but they forget that they are not young anymore. I just hope that both Tyson and Jones will not get a severe injury at the end of the match.
It will be tough for both.

But I have seen the condition of Mike and it's impressive. I haven't seen Roy so that's where my bias is. But I'm still in the middle of it once I've seen the progress from Roy but for now, I haven't done it so still goes for Mike.
Yes, I think the same as you. I think Roy still hiding his full performance to the public, and maybe he wants to make the public impress with him. Although I see that people maybe choose Tyson to be the winner, Roy will also have the chance to be the winner. It will be a big match in this year.

Will post a link here once I found a video, maybe we can search it in youtube.

I don't have updates on him and that's why I'm into Mike.
Even if I will see a training video on Roy Jones, I think I would still go with Mike Tyson, I will also bet blindly. lol

I don't want to be bias but I think everyone has their thoughts agreeing for Mike this time.

This time, everyone is bias with their opinion, these are inactive boxers, so we just judge base on what we believe who will win and people have spoken their mind that they will cheer for Mike T.

Definitely in terms of boxing tournament is full of expectation, maybe the people still find the world-class quality boxers. I think this coming main event by the famous world champion, Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior is exciting and I think many people bet on Tyson's side, actually, I'm one of his fans from the beginning of his career in boxing and I saw the strong fist, but we cannot predict because this match are both strong.

I do not follow Roy's training or other videos, but I search for the video on Youtube, and I found that many videos about Roy.

I choose Mike because I see that Mike, with the reputation, can have a big percentage to win, but we will see it later, and we will know who will be the winner.

Mike Tyson is taking this fight extremely seriously. I have recently read a news that Mike has gone through a series of electric muscle stimulation to treat the pain that occured during his training session. Read below,

https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/740531/mike-tyson-electric-shock-muscle-therapy-roy-jones-jr-comeback-exhibition-fight/

Even though this is just an exhibition fight, it has managed to garner good amount of attention because of the big names associated with it! However, considering it is a boxing match and physical fitness and agility are the two most key factors which can decide the winner, Roy Jones is way ahead of Mike Tyson! Mike played his last match in 2005 while Roy Jones had played until 2018 Which is another important factor in deciding the winner!

I understand why a lot of people are picking Mike Tyson being a legend and all but what people don't get is he has been inactive for several years now as compared to Roy Jones who is active in pro-boxing where his last fight happened last 2 years ago. When it comes to being involved in the sport I think Roy Jones is more match fit compared to Mike Tyson. But if this is an official match it will always boil down to preparation with them until the day of the match so Mike Tyson has a chance of winning this but the question is, is he gonna be prepared to do so?

He's popular and nothing beats that in the media. If its going to be hype a lot, the more people know the even and will probably bet. Its yet not open on sportsbet but there will be many of us going to be there when its available.

Both these boxers will fight differently than how they are back in the days and with the influence of their trainers today, both will learn each other to avoid getting knocked.

Not only the media is siding with Mike Tyson but the bookies as well which is strange coming from a man whos last fight was 15 years ago. Yeah he isn't out of shape or anything but the question is will he still be match ready when the day comes. He might do some sparring and heavy training like what the media is saying but it only shows Tyson just wants to catch up on the years he have rested facing a pro boxer who was just inactive recently. In terms of age, height, and reach they are even the only question is who still have gas on their tanks on the fight night.

Tyson really need to take this seriously, he is the favourite in this match.

Yeah, because the names involved are two legends. Although Roy Jones agility has decline, but I think he has the advantage on this department. But the media and the bookies didn't look at that way, after all Tyson name precedes his reputation to be one of the hardest hitter we have seen. Roy Jones really needs to get back to his style of dodging and his patented left hook to upset Tyson or at least get him tired in the middle rounds and then takes over.

Stamina would really matter on this fight both fighters havent in a fight for long years specially Mike Tyson but i dont know if RJJ did really still have some fights or continuous training over all the years.
When it comes to body shape then both do still have it but we dont know the endurance is still there.Age is one of the issue but basing of on how they do show up their sparrings and training session
then we can say that they can still fight but dont know on how this will go well inside on the ring.

When it comes to hype and favorites then Tyson did really have lots of exposure recently. No doubt that he's been the favorite this time.

Age is a factor but it seems that for Mike Tyson age doesn't matter especially inside the ring. His ridiculous traning with some incredible therapy broke the internet and he is proving that ge can still win a match. I do not know if Roy Jones can match the new Mike Tyson that we will see in September. Everybody is now talking about the comeback of Mike Tyson and for sure they will make a good fight that will be part of history.

So it's not gonna be exciting to bet because there's no winner if there's no KO, I'm sure sportsbook won't make profit for this as even if they will receive millions of bets but at the end of the game no KO will happen, they will refund the bet.  Grin
The sportsbook will be allowing the winners bid and there will be bets on both sides and these sportsbook will be making money either way as Mike Tyson is the favorite because he is a natural heavyweight but who knows about his condition to fight longer and he might gas out and if that happens we will see an upset and the odds look great to place a small bet for the underdog as Roy Jones have power to knockout if Tyson is tired.

It could be what will happen if Roy has a plan to win the fight. It could be his strategy to knock out Mike.
Mike always lose patience when he couldn't knock the fighter after 2-3 rounds and he'd gas out and when Mikes starts to open his mouth like its about to bite ears that's when Roy can find opening to strike.  Is anyone ever have doubts that this is a fix fight due to the rules?

This is going to be a good event as far as boxing is concerned and seeing Mike again in the ring is like seeing good old days when he was a master of it. Both are good players but popularity wise Mikes wins it. But let’s see how both of them manage to strike each other and how much they are fit now.

That's a good possibility, actually people are rooting for Tyson to win so they will bet all the way and hope he can KO Roy Jones so there will be a winner.

Since the rule says that no KO, no winner, I wonder what's the odds for draw in this one, if this end up a draw, can we expect a rematch? lol

Looks like that this fight will be postpone to a later date this year.

Seems like the marketing strategy of both fighters did not work as the interest of boxing fans to watch this fight is low.

^^ On the contrary, I thought that they are moving to a new date because they think it can generate more money. But it doesn't matter I guess, was wondering if this is Tyson vs Holyfield, for me it will create more hype than Jones. We really don't know why the supposedly fight with Holyfield fell out, but for sure it will be more intriguing and more interesting.

That was the first announcement, actually people got hyped wit that, but I think this fight would still be a success because Mike is always the man for most boxer as they love how Mike Tyson fight. They don't need to move the date since this will only be good for PPV, no crowd so they can held it anywhere as long as players and some people inside the venue is safe.
