I believe that there is a very big difference between Bazden and Trump, and if we take into account that Trump is a businessman, and Biden is a politician, then the politician will do everything to somehow satisfy his citizens. I believe that he will not be a threat to the cryptocurrency market. Moreover, in the information history of Biden's election campaign, news about the cryptocurrency that he used to fight Trump very often appeared.

for me personally I am not afraid that even I agree that in my country the president completely legalizes the cryptourrency industry. anything will happen especially when the government in my country is getting interested in crypto and many people are enthusiastic about supporting crypto. so there is a possibility that in my country one day it can legalize crypto.
Yes, if there is good support from the local government, it will be very easy to legalize crypto, because crypto is basically very good for everyone, even though there are many scammers who play in it, but apart from that, everyone is clear can use crypto very wisely.

It is indeed very difficult to prohibit the activities of trading cryptocurrencies, as cryptocurrencies are by nature created to be anti-centralized finance. I think it's more beneficial to find a way to legalize it soon than to ban it.
Legalizing cryptocurrency is good, but not all countries can agree with what you are saying, because the conditions and rules in each country are different so it will be a little difficult to implement new things that sometimes conflict with general rules that have been upheld. by residents of their respective countries.
There are a lot of reasons to ban cryptocurrencies, but I think the main one is that many governments fear it could affect national monetary systems as well as state banks. So perhaps crypto will still be illegal, as it affects the interests of governments and banks.

Here in the Philippines where our current president here do not have care for the poor, running the government with greedy and stupidity. I guess cryptocurrency will never be accepted here if he will continue to reign. But if he will be impeached or he will finish his term I hopefully wish that the next president of the Philippines is open enough to the changes that is happening around the world. Not only for crypto tho.

What are you saying? if it's not accepted then you won't have your local exchange or cryptocurrency will be illegal in the Philippines. Do you believe that cryptocurrency is illegal in the Philippines or it's just allowed but it's not regulated, which one?

Are you kidding me mate? Local exchanges in the Philippines started I think that was way back 2014 and now it's nearly maybe second to the last term of the President without any problem from them regarding cryptocurrency restrictions or whatsoever. If you want it political just compare previous leaders if they can match the current one you are talking about.

Anyways IMO I'll say No! I am not afraid if the next president will be making crypto illegal because we still have some ways to participate even having some restrictions as Bitcoin is decentralized. They can only shut local exchanges down but not those international ones most especially wallets that allows everyone to transfer funds. But for me it really does not happen because the government make money from those local exchanges since they regulated all of them.

I am not worried so much. I don't think so that one time crypto will ban. Crypto-currency is expanding day by day. If any country ban crypto it will result the country lose their position from technology.

I don't mean only America, what about in your country; do think that a future ban on crypto currencies is ever possible in your country?
I don't think about it at all. Because still crypto currencies are banned in our country. I think a developed country will never ban cryptocurrency. Developing or third world country may ban cryptocurrency. Because they do not have the technology to regulate it. And if a country bans cryptocurrency, it should not be a problem. Because the total system of cryptocurrency is anonymous.

I don't think it's a technological problem. This is more about people's readiness to use the crypto function itself. when everything migrates to crypto but society cannot keep up with changes it will be difficult for the country to manage optimally.
If the government will regulate, the flow will continue, just like what we are experiencing in the crypto space, slowly adoption is happening until people were able to learn and adopt with the new decentralized system, that's the same thing would happen, as long as the government are regulating crypto, people will not hesitate on using it.

Not too afraid because in the country where I live, crypto has been legalized, legalized for investment, not for a medium of exchange to replace the original currency. So for durability, it seems unlikely that the rules will change from legal to illegal. Many will disagree later

Very fear when president make bitcoin as illegal investment transaction in my country, I know what happen next if bitcoin become illegal as currency or investment assets because we can't access to exchange account because have block by government. No matter if bitcoin not become as legal payment currency transaction but never make bitcoin illegal as investment assets trading, I think its not easy to make bitcoin as payment currency with higher fees transaction but never make bitcoin become illegal with investing. We can see with many countries have banned for using bitcoin they can't participated at many ICO and IEO project.

Same with our country, I think it doesn't concern him a lot because cryptocurrency also makes a lot of benefits to us not just by gaining income but also it makes every transaction safe and fast. We all know that there are still countries that don't recognize the goodness of cryptocurrency but still we are hoping that they can adopt and use it also. Not only for investment but for payment method it is really helpful to everyone making it less hassle and you can send your money in just a little bit of time.

Of course if this happens there will be many impacts felt by the people who do have assets in crypto, the loss will of course be the biggest impact if the president ilegalizes crypto currency, but a president cannot immediately take and implement regulations that really concern people many in private, of course, there are related institutions (ministers of economy, finance and banking) that must be consulted by the constitution, even though the president has veto power but cannot fully make controversial decisions without the approval of the council.
so I thought it would be impossible

I haven't seen signs of even criticism in my country about Bitcoin and cryptocurrrencies, but anything can happen with today's politicians.

Hopefully the United States and the European Union won't declare any ban as that will have a lot of countries probably follow suit. Though, as the OP said, there are bigger interests now in the game so it is unlikely for that to happen.

I believe in our ability as humans to evolve to a better society and not reject the things that will make our lives more efficient and prosperous.

You are lucky invyour country if your constitution and government have given legal permit to have cryptocurrency investment. This is nice. Your economy will be gracefully increase with time because terrorism will grow as people know they can freely exchange their coin if they are in tour country. Also some exchanges will open up in your country because your country is friendly to cryptocurrency business.

There wouldn't be anything so new with any country's leader or dictator placing such a ban on crypto activities. Even now there are some countries that have declared bitcoin and crypto activities illegal while some remain neutral on its stand. But does it stop people from getting involved in crypto activities? No.

One thing that is working for the industry is the fact that you can still conduct crypto transactions without going to the bank nor even using the bank. Peer-to-peer transactions have been hugely a success in this domain and I expect that to continue.

Politicians can do what they want but we the people will always find a way to pursue our individual and group aspirations and economic activities. Technology has got the power to beat governments and politicians.

The president of my country is not even allowing Crypto talk more of legalising or not legalising it. Despite the fact it's not legalised here youth still finds it useful and many are already fully into it as we speak. 60% of youths in my country are currently into Crypto and more are joining daily bases. Lol.

No, to date, the president in our country doesn't even take any steps when it comes to cryptocurrency. It stays neutral and do not care about it for now. That's why I am not afraid if they will make it illegal since before they even decide whethere they will make it as illegal or legal, it will surely take a lot of time and discussion before they can decide to that.
