I think the reason behind their inconsistency is the fact that the club management aren't spending a lot again in signing world class players like they used to do before now. I'll be extremely happy to see them bounce back to winning ways again and competing for the biggest trophies both in domestic and European competitions. They finished as the first runners-up to Paris Saint Germaine in the French standings last season which means that Monaco will be playing European football come next season.

I don't understand what PSG is trying to do by sending Xavi Simons on loan. He is a young, determined, quality player. Moreover, he had a very good season in Leipzig.
