Monaco and Marseille spent a lot of money this season, with the hopes that they can be top four, even top three, so that they can directly go to UCL and make that money back. But they both failed which means that they are going to get even worse.

Because they spent so much, and did not make it back, for them to be able to continue, they have to sell some good players, like Marseille looking to sell Greenwood right now, so we can safely assume that there is a chance these teams will get worse, because they are going to sell some good players, and use that money to be able to continue, and in exchange get cheaper players and unless those cheaper players turn out to be great, they are not going to be better.

Surprising performance from Nice, after they could only get a draw at Geoffroy-Guichard, I was not sure that they could play well in the second leg, but my prediction was wrong. They managed to win with a convincing score, no goals in the first half turned out not to be a bad sign for Nice supporters, because all the goals came in the second half.

Nice must have learned from their mistakes this season, their final position this season was not deserved if we look at what Nice did in the previous 2 seasons.

It seems to me that a completely logical result is a draw away to minimize the risks and a confident victory at home, a familiar pattern. A successful result (a drop to Ligue 2 would have been a complete disaster), but still, if you remember that last year Nice was in 4th place, then survival is not the level we are used to when discussing this club. It will be interesting to see what they can do next season, but when I look at the budgets of the bottom half of Ligue 1 clubs, things are looking bleak.

I'm happy to see Nice can survive in League 1 this season at least they can breathe a sigh of relief and start improving their performance next season, this season Nice performance is very bad they usually can finish in the top 6 of the standings but this season they are almost in the relegation zone. I don't know what makes them like that but what is certain is that Nice needs to correct their mistakes so that their performance in League 1 will be good again and they can compete with the top teams in League 1 again for a place in the UCL/UEL.

They initially drew against Saint Etienne but then scored four goals. I already suspected a difference between the two teams. Nice has a better squad than their opponents. They are very lucky to have stayed in the league. Next year, they should focus on strengthening their weaknesses and climb towards the middle of the table. Perhaps they should give more opportunities to young French players.

For Marseille in particular, the club's financial situation is a bit disappointing, and they might have to sell a few key players, just like you said. Honestly, that's probably the smarter move for the club's future rather than keeping those players, paying huge wages, and ending up with an even bigger financial burden later on.

So if some of those important players are sold this summer, I don't think Marseille will be as strong next season as they were this year. It looks like they'll have to sacrifice some on field quality in order to get their finances back under control.

Congrats to Nice fans! They have managed not to relegate by a really solid win there. But they need an immediate recovery by making the right moves this summer. Claude Puel wouldn't get sacked I assume because of managing to keep the team in the league. 

He came last January so he had only 6 months. Anyway there is more interesting news like Filipe Luis is joining Monaco as their new manager! I think he will work well with skilled youngsters there. Who knows maybe even he might achieve a surprise trophy in the Ligue 1...

Their performance this season was very bad compared to how Nice finished the last two seasons. They finished in the top 8 in both the last two seasons, but this season they were in danger of relegation. But the good news is that they finally managed to qualify for Ligue 1. I expect them to come back in the upcoming season. They played great in the second leg against AS Saint-Étienne and stayed in Ligue 1, their performance in the first leg (away match) was not very good. They need to sign some necessary players for the upcoming season, otherwise we will see a repeat of their poor performance.

PSG is a team which manages to defeat Bayern Munich and get access in the final of champions league.  So , I think its true that it is not easy to be the opponent of PSG. They have really a very strong squad and this is what makes them superior and incredible. And if they get any of their player is injured they are the one which might not face any problems in such unplanned situation which is I think also really very good thing. It's very difficult how to maintain their strength and being stable and top team and it needs a lot of efforts for any other team so they can compete with PSG to be at their level.

It is not about their strength that people think they may not win, it is about their focus. Because PSG won everything that could be won, and this made people worry if they are going to be able to focus.

That defeat in the CWC finals by Chelsea was because PSG players are already weak after winning the champions league, they also played with many strong clubs in before they got to the finals. So, they were already exhausted compared to Chelsea who played with weak teams all through till they got to the finals. PSG is still maintaining their outstanding performance but Chelsea has declined drastically in form.

That's the problem these teams have. They cannot maintain their good performance for long because of injury and fatigue. Some of them cannot perform well overtime because they're not strong enough to keep up with their pace. A big club has players that are used to playing very well overtime till the end of the season without dropping form. They don't just have one or two players like that but majority of them.

I think, it's better for a club to start the season in a poor form and later pick form and stay consistent till the end of the season because than starting the season in a superb style and drop form at mid season.

I would say that things with Ligue 1 so far in the UCL have shown that it's the best football in Europe, so I would say that the other teams just don't reach that level. The bar is set very high and PSG is far above the level of the other French teams. That's something that's noticeable, at least in the UCL they've already demonstrated. Of course, I've also seen that Luis Enrique is a great coach, there's no doubt about that.

PSG performance this season has been extraordinary and they have now joined Real Madrid as the only teams to win consecutive UCL titles. If they can win another UCL trophy next season, they will equal Madrid's record of a hat-trick.

This season PSG has had a nearly perfect season. They have only failed to win one trophy. Otherwise they have swept almost every trophy available. Ligue 1, UCL, UEFA Super Cup, French Super Cup, FIFA Intercontinental Cup and they only failed to win the Coupe de France. Five titles out of six competitions.
Luis Enrique has also been very impressive during his time at PSG, having now won 12 trophies with the club: 3 Ligue 1 titles, 3 Trophée des Champions, 2 UCL titles, 2 Coupe de France titles, 1 UEFA Super Cup, and 1 FIFA Intercontinental Cup.

But I still hope that next season there will be another team that can compete closely with PSG especially in League 1. Lens has been quite good this season but they are still lacking consistency in the middle of the season.

Nice managed to comfortably defeat Saint-Étienne and secured their place in the league for next season. Since the first match ended 0-0, Nice had gained the upper hand heading into this home game. The match, which ended scoreless in the first half, saw a total of five goals in the second half. Nice defeated their opponent 4-1, securing their place in the league. It’s good news for Nice that they’ve stayed in the league because they had a truly terrible season, and I didn’t even think they’d be able to stay up, but this victory against Saint-Étienne kept them in the league.

OGC Nice football team played very well against  Saint-Étienne football team because that team did back to back goals in this match and Wahi was a person who did last 2 goals of the match. Wahi did goal at 86 minutes when it was need of the team and after that goal there a pressure in this match and he did goal at 91 minutes and they won this match at the end as it was expected by that team. Davitashvili was a person who did one and only goal for the team and he did goal at 78 minutes and that goal was at penalty.  Clauss did first goal of the match and OGC Nice team performance was ahead in this match and that was a reason they won this match.

I can imagine the kind of jubilation that'll be happening now in the French capital. It's one thing winning the UEFA Champions League but defending it is actually more difficult than winning it. They've now joined the exclusive list of teams that's won it consecutively. From not winning the UEFA Champions League in the club's history to winning it twice in two years. Luis Enrique and the current PSG team will definitely be immortalized at the club for making such indelible history

PSG weren't the "best team all season" last year, and they haven't been this year. Unlike Bayern or Arsenal, PSG have extremely questionable results in the Champions League group stage and, in general, weak play when assessing consistency. They have made good use of their ability to spread their strengths throughout the season (as they have no competition in Ligue 1), but PSG have not come close to being the best team all season.

that's what i say too, it's true that Paris Saint-Germain will play on equal terms against Arsenal but we have to remember that they eliminated Bayern Munich practically easily, which in my opinion was a team that absolutely had to make the final this year, i is not surprised that there is someone who can make such a journey and don't think that they aren't the best and that they can win.

There's no doubt that PSG played very well. I saw some shortcomings in Luis Enrique's strategy when playing out from the back. I also saw that Arsenal did well when they played direct, counter-attacking football. Their weakness was playing defensively. On the other hand, PSG once again proved that they are the best club in Europe, and there's no doubt about it. They've now won two Champions League titles in a row. PSG is truly one of the teams that has everything it takes to continue succeeding. Congratulations.
