Having a good financial resources on ground is one key factor which plays a pivotal role in the overall performance of a club but it does not mean the club will be successful as the success of a club is more evident on its efforts towards working with the squad depth it has to win more matches and beat their opponents regardless of who the team they are facing is at a particular point. But normally if you have more resources as a club you are supposed to win more games through buying the right players and manager to manage them properly.

I am not saying this would be a bad transfer, of course the kid is a great player and he would be a great player for you for at least ten more years, if he takes care of his body. However, don't they already have players for these positions?

I mean where are they going to play him? They have players literally in every position of offense, not just starters but they even have bench players for all of them. So if they do get Alvarez, then where are they going to put him, and who will be benched instead?

In reality, no, PSG don't really have that type of player. The only real striker they have is Ramos, which has been quite disappointing to be honest (that's why he barely plats anymore) otherwise the have a bunch of offensive players but, again, none of them really plays in that specific position. And right now there are not too many good strikers on the market.

The only difficulty that I see in the ligue1 is the financial strength of PSG, if there are clubs that could match the financial strength of PSG by competing vigorously in the transfer market to source for credible players who are willing to compete adequately then we would have some high level of competition for the title rather than this system that seems like a joke which makes the league look less competitive, less attractive amongst the elite league in Europe.

It is obvious that PSG is the biggest spender. The financial gap between the club and other French clubs is too wide. Money plays an important role in sports. And we are seeing the quality of players PSG has at its disposal. We have seen some exceptions where low-budget clubs become successful, but finance is important. Until other clubs get a rich sponsor, maybe from an Arab investor, PSG might continue its dominance.

With this huge gap in spending for quality in the respective clubs team with PSG we can succumb to the fact that it can take jan extreme hard luck on PSG for them to lose the league1 trophy to any other club in as much as this financial gap remains constant. It's seems as an unfair competition but it's all about massive sponsors and that's what all those clubs are deficient of and now they all play each season competing for European spots as first target while hoping PSG could slip in any of the season.

It's a shame Lyon failed to secure full points against Toulouse as the defeat cost them third place in the standings. Lyon had been in good form heading into the match having won four straight games, but this defeat ended their positive run.

Lyon currently faces a difficult challenge to regain third place relying on results from other matches in the final week. Furthermore, they face Lens in their final match, while Lille hosts 15th placed Auxerre. Instead of Lyon regaining third place they have a strong chance of being overtaken by Rannes if they can beat Marseille in their final match.

This will be a tough match for Lens, they are the team in the second position of the League 1 table, they have been dreaming to win the league, but due to fatigue and other factors, they have been left behind after some poor form, but yet, they tried their best to maintain the second position ahead of all these teams that claims to be big teams in the league, I am making reference to the likes of AS Monaco, Lyon, Marseille, and maybe Lille that fails to always bring competition to PSG and they have allowed the league to term as farmers league because PSG had dominated the league for long and none of them is willing to improve.

A win for PSG tomorrow will confirm them the title winners, they had a very good season, but we can’t also forget the fact that Lens is also a very good side, they will want to win the game tomorrow so that they will mount pressure on PSG towards the end of the season because if PSG lose to Lens, they will have to win their last match of the season to win the title.

PSG spending is normal because they are a rich club, with Paris, the capital, with the most populated area, all fans of them, and they are successful. These three are literally ways of being rich, because even if you had a rich owner but no fans then you would be blocked by financial fair play, but they actually charge a lot for tickets and jerseys and all that, and yet they end up with getting fans buying up, so having fans still matter, and if you keep losing then you would not get fans excited, but they also win.

So that means we get to see a team with a wealthy owner + success + and a lot of fans spending money all three at the same time. There are no other team with all three together in all of France.

With the champions finals still far for PSG to be thinking about, I think PSG is now concentrating in the league and tomorrow PSG will be confirmed champions of the ligue 1. Because I don't see Lens as a threat to PSG currently. A see an away win for PSG come tomorrow. Lens has come to their limits and that is obvious in recent matches that they have played.

PSG have practically secured their title in the French league but you are right that Lens have had a great 25/26 French league season and have shown great performance as they are in second place with 67 points. By the way according to the schedule we can see that they are going to face the potential French champions Paris Saint-Germain tomorrow maybe this epic match will be the way for PSG to properly prepare for their upcoming UCL final. Lens have played very controlled football this season so tomorrow's match could be a bit of a headache for the former Ligue 1 champions as in my opinion they will be facing trained and mature players in the 33rd round of this Ligue 1 season.

I'm not saying that no sport on earth hasn't had its own postponement, what I am saying is that it's very bad and uncomfortable for the French Ligue 1 FA to postponed the Lens vs PSG match at the request of PSG with no valid reason. The problem with these teams is that after having a great season and revealing good players to the world, they only think about money and selling their key players and their coach.

That's what happened with Bayer Leverkusen, nowadays they don't come close to what they were in the 23/24 season because their best players and their excellent coach went to other clubs.

Meanwhile, teams like Bayern Munich and PSG invest in their current squad and maintain it for a long time, and that's why they are dominant teams in their national leagues for a long time.

Well, congrats to them, they managed to repeat their old story in the 2022/2023 season. At that time the first position was still led by Paris Saint-Germain & they filled the second place, for the second time they will be in the biggest competition in all of Europe next season, I think we can't expect much from them, being at that stage is already very good.

BTW, Lens will face Paris Saint-Germain in the next matchday, it will be a good place to re-test Lens capacity after in the first meeting this season they lost to Paris Saint-Germain with 2 - 0 at the Parc des Princes.

 I think they'll continue to be the best for years to come cause even though Enrique leaves their next option would be someone with the experience of successfully managing a big team and that person would also be financially backed to be successful, you'll see how they'll upgrade the squad in the summer despite having some of the best team currently.

No, Lens did not agree with the LFP's (French league) decision. RC Lens publicly stated in a note that they were concerned that this decision was solely to serve the European interests of certain clubs.

The LFP decided to postpone anyway, claiming that it wanted to help any French club in European competitions and try to improve the position of French football in the UEFA European league ranking. No matter how honorable Lens' campaign has been so far, the French League has the final say.

all teams win thanks to the money that the presidents put on the table to create a team to win everything, no one can afford to say that PSG does different things to the others to win, the other teams have simply been unlucky, because every year they have the same chance of winning.
