Lens may have already given up the Ligue 1 title and are playing to defend their second place. They played great throughout the season, even if the end of the season was not as expected. I don't want to lose them in just one season, I expect them to continue like this in the coming season. I at least want to see them improve in the next seasons so that they can compete better every season. Then maybe the league will become an exciting league and we will be saved from PSG's dominance. It is nothing but boredom to see the same team winning the title every time. I expect a good performance from them in the Champions League.

Paris Saint-Germain have practically secured their place in the French league. Lens had a fantastic season and put on a magnificent show. I truly congratulate them. I also wish them success in the Champions League next year. They had a great season. They finished second, ahead of teams like Olympique Lyon, Marseille, and Monaco, and kept Paris Saint-Germain in contention until the end of the season. The coach and players had a wonderful season. They deserve a good vacation, and they will be going on holiday after two more matches.

these teams are really excellent, if we think about their level last year and the type of championship they had this year, its simply incredible, romantically i would let them win, but unfortunately football and sport in general is very cynical, and the best always wins, namely PSG.

It's the only way, where they didn't lose a single game, because it has been shown that teams that remain undefeated don't win leagues; draws leave them there without winning, but in second place. So some Ligue 1 team has to make the difference from the beginning.

Paris-Saint-German are the big money spenders in the French League One, I don’t think any team would be able to compete against them in that French League One, I’m even a kind of surprised that a team like Lens are fighting against PSG in the title race which is something that is widely unpredictable, teams like Lens doesn’t have enough experience and firepower to compete against PSG in a title race which is why it would be very difficult for them to win the Title, I still believe that Paris-Saint-German would end up winning the French League One, and they will also end up winning the Champions League.

Lens is indeed far superior to some of the other big teams in Ligue 1, but I believe their current squad isn't enough to compete with PSG as a title contender.

They tried, even though PSG were superior and used their opportunities better, Lens created lots of chances but were unlucky, 22 shots with 8 on target could've given then one goal atleast but it's suprising that they couldn't score. PSG didn't want to take chances even though it's was obvious before this match that they're more favoured to win it.

 Nice points gap sealed, unto tbe next which is Paris FC and I hope Enrique rests all the first team players for that match so they'll be fully fit and prepared for the finals. Indeed, having good depth is a big plus in football, if Lens had some players of PSG's standard maybe they would've challenged better than this, well ending this season in second position is hope that they can do better the next season.

If PSG hadn't asked for a reschedule, maybe Lens would still have the motivation and maybe the situation would be different and the opportunity to beat PSG would also be wide open. But after the rescheduling, that motivation was no longer there and there was no longer any reason to win the title because in the end there was only 1 match left which made it impossible for Lens to catch up on the points difference.

Cynical and attached to money, this is why Paris Saint-Germain wins, with all the money spent and all the money that the sponsors give them, they practically get stronger year after year, while the smaller teams do the opposite.
We can say that it sucks vital energy from the smaller teams.

It is obvious that PSG is the biggest spender. The financial gap between the club and other French clubs is too wide. Money plays an important role in sports.

It is true that money plays a big role. But PSG's current dominance is not just the result of pouring in a lot of money. The way they have arranged player management and tactical arrangement under their current coach is indeed commendable. Many other club are spending money like water but they have not been able to come close to PSG. It is not enough to just have money you also need the brain to use it on the field

Brest and Strasbourg are set to face off today. Given that neither team has much to play for, I can’t say we’re in for a particularly entertaining match. As nothing will change regardless of who wins, I see this as a match with a high likelihood of ending in a draw. Of course, the home side has the advantage in matches like this, and Brest are unlikely to lose at home in this fixture. However, it’s hard to predict what Strasbourg might be capable of.

Your prediction of a draw seem to me to be a good one. At this stage of the league both team have nothing to lose. And there is not much left to gain. When there is no pressure on the table the players insistence on fighting also decreases. So both team may play a cautious or safe game. The end of which may be sharing those points.

Winning all the games in the League is not an easy task. Leverkusen under Xabi Alonso was exceptional that season. They failed to replicate the same feat the next season, showing that it was not an easy accomplishment.

Any club that wants to compete with PSG would have to start planning immediately. First, they need money to recruit quality players and a management team. The team also needs to be disciplined and have a common purpose. They should put aside individual awards for the general goal of the club.

It is very difficult to fight for the title with PSG and win the title. Lens managed to  hold the top spot of the table for  a long time at the beginning  of the season because of Lens' excellent performance , PSG was under pressure and the fight for the Ligue 1 title also became quite intense. But in the end, lens could not continue the winning streak and fell behind in the fight. And as usual , we can see psg as the champion of ligue 1.

Yesterday, PSG won  2-0 against Lens. Lens tried their best to perform well in their home match. Lens was able to take 22  shots in the entire  match. Even then, they  could not score a single goal. PSG was  quite tactical in this match. That is why  they were able to score two goals despite having less  attacks.

Don’t forget that besides Ligue 1, PSG also reached the Champions League final. So you are absolutely right that squad depth and quality are crucial, because PSG are probably the only team in Ligue 1 that can afford to have a second lineup almost equal in strength to the first one. That is why I think Lens achieved a very good result this season, even though in the end they still could not seriously compete with PSG. But it was obvious from the very beginning that PSG would not really have any competition in Ligue 1.

From the start, PSG hasn’t taken Ligue 1 very seriously since they’ve been focused on defending their Champions League title, and that has forced them to prioritize performing at their best. As a result, they’ve dropped points on several occasions, which has affected their standing in Ligue 1. Still, even though their performance hasn’t been at its best, they’ve managed to close the gap, making it harder for Lens to hold onto their spot at the top of the standings. That said, what Lens has achieved is impressive, and their current second-place position is already a strong result.
