What PSG are currently doing with their last games should have also being what Arsenal would have being doing at this period in the EPL had it being that Arsenal has reached the required points above other teams in winning the EPL title but it's unfortunate they still actively involved in fighting for the title even with just two games to pack it in. I fear for Arsenal as they ain't having the time to rest their key players just as PSG are doing in preparation for the most important trophy in Europe league competitions.

Arsenal is in more pressure than the PSG now considering their current matches left and how delicate those matches are to the success of failure of the club in taking the championship of the domestic league. When you look at the gap between the Arsenal team and the club coming below them, there are only two points difference which has yet endsgered Arsenal’s chance in winning or losing whereas when you look at PSG, either they win or lose they are still at the lead considering their current matches gap differential between them and the club beneath them. What this means is we are faced with a situation where the Arsenal club are using all their top squad to protect the few matches left for them to win the premier league and can’t keep any serious player on reserve now but unlike the PSG who can allow their top players to relax and warm up for the final.

Among the results of top teams the only thing I understood was Rennes' losing to Marseille. You know Marseille were also trying to secure a spot in UEFA tournaments. If Rennes won they were going to quality for the CL directly.

On the other hand Lille and Lyon were both a disgrace! At least Lyon, just come on... They should have been able to win against Lens at home! How can you be that horrible to lose like 0-4???

Auxerre did good to Lyon by defeating Lille and giving them a chance to finish in the top three, but Lyon couldn't seize the opportunity Auxerre gave to them. Instead of Lyon to beat Lens and flip Lille in the third position in the French Ligue 1 table, they lost 4-0 to Lens on their home soil, now they didn't qualify for next season Champions League.

That match was kinda ridiculous. Lyon should’ve benefited a lot from Lille losing, but instead they couldn’t take advantage of it to secure a top 3 spot. But wait, doesn’t finishing in the top 4 still let Lyon play in the UCL next season? They’d probably just have to go through the qualifying rounds first. Am I right?

Wow the last match in Ligue 1 is quite a lot of surprises that occur, PSG score is currently still 1-1, I still hope they win but maybe because this match does not mean anything so any result will not affect PSG. The surprise is Lens, they performed stunningly at home to Lyon, 4-0 ahead and it is certain that Lens won, fortunately Lyon can still secure a UCL ticket. the sad thing is Nice, and it is likely that they are the last team to be relegated, it is very unfortunate because they were quite good at the beginning of the season even in the last season they finished in the top 4.

This season Ligue 1 results have been quite surprising given the final standings. This is especially true for teams like Nice, Marseille and Monaco whose performances have been quite poor compared to last season. Nice previously managed to finish in the top four, but this season they are in 16th place almost on the verge of relegation. Marseille and Monaco also finished second and third last season, respectively. Now Marseille can only manage a fifth-place finish and Monaco finished seventh failing to even qualify for the Europa League.

Lens has performed exceptionally this season even putting pressure on PSG several times. Although they ultimately realized competing with PSG is no easy feat finishing as runners-up is a remarkable achievement. But among the team's performances only Monaco is the most surprising in my opinion even though their squad this season is quite good, but unfortunately they failed to take advantage of the last two matches which made them have to be satisfied with 7th place. I hope that next season League 1 will be more competitive, especially in the trophy competition.

For now PSG are simply focused on their big goal which is the champions league and that will be their focal point because there is nothing that's stop them from lifting the French league already as they have already sealed the deal to this so whether they lose or even draw it won't matter as they have sealed the deal but the central focus will be to edge out arsenal and that is what Enrique and his boys are planning for not the league title race anymore.

You've made a lot of sense but in football, despite that most of the time a team's compounded matches can affect their performance in other competitions but if they are determined to make their way through in a difficult situation they can still have an incredible performance. Since the beginning of the season, Arsenal hasn't rested from different competitions but they still showed a flawless performance at the UCL, it is their determination that took them this far because they had many problems in other competitions including the Premier League but they never allowed it to transfer to the UCL matches. Realistically, PSG has greater advantage than Arsenal since they will feel at ease as a result of the fact that their title win in the French ligue has been confirmed but in a final match even the least team cannot be underrated because both teams are basically fighting for the trophy. Nevertheless, PSG has all advantages in the finals and they don't have any excuse if they don't defend the title.

No doubt things were really at their best on the last day of this season. While PSG lost the Paris derby and Lyon had a humiliating defeat against Lens at home, this was one of the worst for them this season. Lille also lost against struggling Auxerre, while Marseille did a good job but still failed to get a spot in the top four.

Nice, now they are going to face St. Etienne for their survival in Ligue 1. It's going to be a nail-biting contest between them. Monaco was terrible this season, and now they have nothing to show for the coming season. Just stay in Ligue 1 and bring good improvement. Strasbourg's season was also not balanced; they are also out. Lyon had a good chance; they needed to play qualifiers for the Champions League.

If I tell you I wasn't surprise I'd be lying, like that game was a one heck of a game, I thought Lyon was the favorite for that game but they disappointed me by losing to Lens, and what was that win for? Something they'd let Lyon to win so they'll qualify for the top four yet they couldn't give out the winning, but that's not my major concern, my concern right now is Dembele's injury like how serious is that injury because the UEFA Champions League final is very much important and he can't afford to miss it, they should please tend to that injury.

The only reason why Lyon was seen as "favourite" was because Lens had nothing to fight for, PSG because champions and Lens guaranteed their position as second place, so win or lose it's the same thing for Lens and nothing would have changed. This is why the world said that if Lyon has something to lose but Lens do not, then Lyon will play with their %100 while Lens will not care.

But normally ,what people missed was the fact that Lens was the better team to begin with, and that meant a lot of changes and a lot of situations, we should not be considering how this could be very different for the fact that Lens just outplayed Lyon easily, we should not be considering how this could be something so simple in the end.

In the second half Lyon dominated 59% possession,1.51 xG , 13 shots and no chance created instead of Lyon,  Lens got their 4th in the 53rd minute by Thauvin . Sotoca is named as player of the match for Lens for scoring 1 goal and his midfield play.

I will only say that to Mason Greenwood who had yet another great season with Marseille, becoming their highest goalscorer which has also earned him his first England call up by Thomas Tuchel ever since he was sent home alongside Phil Foden for the Euros years back!
That is some bit if good news for Rennes, I can imagine how much they'd have loved to displace Marseille for that position with a good win. Most interesting was Paris FC winning their Derby game yet again.

I think Rennes should have taken this opportunity. They will be very upset about missing it, because Lille lost at home. They don't get this chance every day. If they had won, they would have gone to the Champions League. I'm sure they won't forget it. Almost everyone believes Arsenal isn't good enough to play PSG and win them in the finals because we have seen the best of PSG in the semifinals first leg against Bayern. Arsenal attack isn't as strong as PSG and their defense wouldn't be able to stop PSG from netting the post.

Marseille hosted Rennes at home. Marseille made no mistakes against their in-form opponent and managed to overtake them by defeating them 3-1. We can say that both teams fought until the very end to win the match, and it was truly an entertaining encounter. With this result, Marseille finished the league in 5th place, securing at least a spot in the Europa League. Rennes, meanwhile, will qualify for the Conference League. The fact that both teams took 27 shots throughout the match and the score remained at 3-1 is a clear indication of how many scoring opportunities were missed.

The match between Strasbourg and Monaco was a true goal-scoring duel. The home team, Strasbourg, emerged victorious. Although Monaco led 3-1 at halftime, Strasbourg managed to turn the game around. Scoring four goals in the second half, Strasbourg won the match 5-4, treating us to a high-scoring encounter in the final week of the season. I had predicted that Monaco would finish in the top 6, but the points they lost in the final weeks caused them to finish outside the top 6.
