Your instinct is right ethereum is potential altcoin many crypto investors recommend ethereum to invest for long term so go invest that coin and hold for long. I also believe that ethereum will hit again $1,000 in the future. You will not regret with this coin.

good plan if you have to invest into eth. for me the safest token besides btc is eth, because these two coins have been proven and in any situation are able to deal with it well, so this plan will be good and should be supported if you choose ethereum

On a more serious note, it is quite difficult to advice someone on what coin to buy owing to the high level of volatility which exists, but even at that, most times, people are told to focus on top 10 or top 20 on coinmarketcap, since they are the ones with more assurance.
Nevertheless, considering the question asked and the coin involved which is Ethereum, I would say it is a good plan because Ethereum is not like other altcoins which can fail anytime or other altcoins whose team can get tired of developement. But however, investing with whichever comes with a condition which is, invest what you can afford or what you can afford to lose. So invest wisely in Ethereum.

Yep, it is a safe coin for investment. However, it cannot guarantee you to take profits. If you have poor knowledge of crypto investment and even you are a panicking person, you also can end with a severe loss in ETH investment. The key point should be knowledge first and then, choose good coins like ETH or BTC or other top coins. |

my ideal portfolio is %50 bitcoin, %25 ethereum. %25 xtz, link, tron, xrp, neo, qtum

ethereum development still looks good until now but the price is not very positive now the movement still looks slow even though the bull run has occurred if the goal is for short-term investment it is better to choose another coin but if aiming for long term investment it is very suitable certainly will give profit in the future

I would distribute the other 25% you have for other altcoins into bitcoin. That is the best idea so far that you can adopt in the bull market. Bitcoin is pumping and ethereun too. Like it is 75% for bitcoin and 25% in ethereum. You don't have to worry with this allocation for ones portfolio. |

i'm not sure that investing in ETH is very promising thing to do, but still, you never know. i mostly prefer to look and invest into promising defi projects especiallly dex

ethereum and other altcoins cannot keep up with the very fast movements of bitcoin so it is too late to increase. but gradually ethereum will be able to begin to adjust and I agree that for short-term investments you better run to bitcoin because bitcoin can quickly change up and down, if in the long term it is clear that ethereum is very good as is bitcoin. because next year there will be renewable ATH in almost all tokens. |
