I know Wisla Krakow was also one of the better teams of the Ekstraklasa but seeing the result of this year for such team it was clear that they would not make it because of the number of loses they had.Most likely they will make it back at least I hope so but as I said I am interested to see how Lech Poznan will do in the International competitions,if they don't sign up any good players during June things may not go that well for them.Every team which is in these leagues which we consider "low quality" compared to the top 5 major European leagues,needs reinforcements in order to do good in the International competitions.

last night, after the end of the season, the football gala of the ekstraklasa was held and most of the awards went to players/actors of lech and raków

Yesterday the first play-off games for promotion to Ekstraklasa took place. Korona confidently defeated Odra Opole, while Arka Gdynia quite unexpectedly lost to Chrobry Głogów at its stadium. The final match on Sunday in Kielce.

after the coach Maciej Skorża lech poznań has left after this season for private reasons, the new polish champion has now presented a new successor with the dutchman John van den Brom.

In the new season I believe Lech Poznań will get the title again. Legia Warszawa is the biggest contender but last year they were awful. Honestly I don't have much information about Rakow Czestochowa, how did they go up so fast? They finished the league second two years in a row and they have only four years of experience total after they promoted. They don't have a fancy squad, just ordinary players but they are doing some miracles.

Today Lech Poznań should win the game against Stal Mielec comfortably. 1.60 odds for handicap -1 looks okay to me, you can take that risk. Lech Poznań can score at least two goals at home and finish the game with clean sheet or it may finish 3-1 as it happened last year.

Yes, I think Poznan is going to win Stal Mielec in their match today because looking at their previous matches with Poznan being at home, Poznan have not been defeated by Stal Mielec recently and with the odd given to Poznan, it shows clearly that it's going to be an easy home win for Poznan and hopefully they start the new campaign with a good win at home.

I will likely predict Poznan to win at halftime @ 1.80 odd I believe with the current state of the team and the home advantages and the huge influence of the fans, they should be able to get a goal and a win at halftime of the game so am going to put my stake on that hopefully they will not disappoint me.

A great match for Cracovia and a certain victory. 3 victories is Cracovia's best start in Ekstraklasa since 1939. Coach Zieliński was not joking saying that Cracovia intends to join the fight for the championship this season.

Yesterday another victory was achived by Wisła Płock, this time they defeated Lech Poznań at the away game. The team from Płock is really impressive at the beginning of the season. On the other hand, the atmosphere in the team of the Polish champion is nervous. The fans made it clear that they expected effective action from the management board. We saw a lot of goals and interesting matches in Częstochowa and Łódź. Today is the last game of this round, Korona-Śląsk.

after matchday 3, there are now 3 clubs with płock, cracovia and raków that can show a maximum points yield so far. polish champion lech poznań somehow can't get into the flow and is on the last place - will it be a mirror image of legia and last season? Roll Eyes

In the first matches of 4 round of Ekstraklasa we will see such teams:

Cracovia and Legia seem to be the favorites. Before the season, Stal Mielec, who has financial problems, was considered one of the main candidates for relegation from the league. For sure it will be hard for the hosts to get points against Cracovia who is in great shape. Legia will host Piast, who has not get any point this season and has not even scored a goal.

stal mielec and legia won their two home games yesterday, each with 2-0. so cracovia had to accept the first defeat yesterday and on the other side stal and legia both have 7 points from 4 games now
