Is it necessary to create an ANN thread?

I just wanted to ask most of the users lately are asking if a certain casino is legitimate or not and some are asking why a crypto based casino does not open an Announcement thread here on the forum. Is it really necessary that a crypto casino or sports betting website needed to open an Announcement thread here?

It is if the site wants to gain gamblers here because there ANN thread will be a space where they can make an announcement and people can ask regarding the site. Most of the reputable gambling in the forum have their ANN thread here, and ANN thread alone is also useless if they'll not put a representative of their site to answer queries from gamblers. Follow other sites ANN thread as model, the more it is active, the more it will gain trust from the community.

There are casino's that don't have ANN threads and not even a signature campaigns to advertise in this community. But it seems they have stayed in the game for so long that they didn't even decided to create one. And there's is a case wherein their is a ANN thread, but was quickly abandon for some strange reasons. So it's not a must, but definitely a plus.

It also can show how serious, professional, and responsible your casino. If you're always help and solved an issues from many gamblers, I believe your casino will have a lot traffic since many people will not doubt on your casino.

The well designed and offering many promote can make people interested, but if you get negative trust... your ANN will be useless since people will leave from scam casino. So, don't scam.

to this, I would add just one more thing. If Casino does not want to open ANN, it seems to me like they want to hide something or to avoid public communication with their users. Except that, I can't see another reason to not be a professional and present your business.
Of course, it's always possible that someone running a crypto casino and do not know about this place. although it must be a small percentage of crypto oriented people.

Its your casino and this is public forum, if you want to be active here in promotions or any kind of events then it is better to have an announcement section to mention what kind of things are going in your casinos in one place and making different threads about your casino site might resulted into the deletion of those threads for spamming that is why is also important to have one for everything.

This forum is the oldest and has the huge amount of members and investors therefore if you want to get more customers or players in your platform then this is the
right place to drop your Announcement thread.

But this forum will not force you if you don't want to create your Ann thread therefore the answer to your question is that, it is not necessary to create your Ann thread
if you don't feel doing it.

It definitely isn't necessary. There are several sites that have had no issues attracting gamblers without advertising in this forum. ANN threads are basically a form of advertising in this forum.

Serious members go as far as purchasing copper membership to advertise their sites. You could advertise in other ways too like signature campaigns, bounties etc in order to attract players from the crypto world.

Advertising in this manner involves spending money which is why you need to have enough funds. Ultimately, no amount of advertising would be enough if your site itself lacks in many areas.

I think a Casino should advertise here to ask users to try the site out in Beta mode where no funds change hands, then the site goes away and evaluates their software for bugs and then comes back with an ANN thread.  If a site is being accused of scamming, that could be a competitor trying to create FUD, someone bellyaching their payout didn't happen fast enough, or, it really could be a scammy site.  You'd have to take into context the type of thread.

It should be on this way but majority of them goes live directly or not in Beta mode. I agree into that system where they should advertise while its still a test phase and able to know on what are still lacking
or what errors do the site have and for some return neither they would decide to give a little bit of bounty or amount to those who do give out valid feedback and recommendation .

Is it necessary to create an ANN thread on this forum? For me, it should be a priority knowing that this forum had the most number of crypto users and since your
website is crypto based then this would be included in the priority.

ANN thread is not the only one place to have public communication with their players, there are some sites without ANN thread but they have active social media pages.
I mean to say that we can judge that any sites want to hide something because they do not have ANN thread especially in this forum.
Although this forum is the biggest crypto related forum, but it does not mean that it is suitable for all sites to promote/advertise their project.
Of course, having an ANN thread in this forum with an active representative will give the site more advantages.

I have just looked at the overview of lists of sites. it seems that casinos that use ann threads are more likely to be successful. it looks much nicer and above all more professional so that customers see that you are serious about it.

It probably important for transparency and publicity reasons. I think a betting site (or any other site/project) that want potential customers to have proper details about its site would need to have such thread on the forum. Whether it's mandatory or not I am not sure. Many would need such threads to help them decide whether to participate or not, and also for the purpose of holding site's or projects owners/admins/moderators accountable if what is on the threads do not tally with what they found or experienced on the promoted sites/projects.

The fact that they are here in the forum, we already know their purpose, and that is to promote their gambling site, it's an opportunity as it's free and if they continue to work for the improvement of the site, they should also get involve with the community and that's by listening to suggestions and feedback from bitcointalk users. I believe there's a lot of gambling sites outside the forum that are already popular, but if they can make their site more popular by using this forum, why would not take that opportunity.

Given the fact that there are many online casinos these days and competing each day, somehow you are giving the users to be more interested to join. Do they "need" to, no.  But would it hurt them, no.  Its all about advertising and getting people onto a particular site you are running, in this case a crypto online casino.  What better way to advertise than a FREE post on a crypto forum that has tons of active users in a crypto gambling sub thread.  It just makes sense to do so there is no reason not to.  But if not it doesn't delegitimize them either just bad marketing in my eyes

It's not necessary, a casino can exist without a thread. But that makes it seem unpopular or suspicious, so it's in the interests of the casino to make such a thread. The thread is useful to find the official representative of the casino, to see casino's overview and updates, evaluate how it engages with its audience. And given that there is a one thread per casino rule, it wouldn't be possible to make brew threads for every announcement, and thus making this one official thread makes sense.

It is about building reputation, so Ann thread is important especially for new online casino who want to make a name in the industry. Look at the most successful online casinos nowadays, where they have good Ann thread and a lot of people are aware and interested to use it because of it. Creating ann thread is a marketing strategy where it can help to create good image and reputation.

I must say that the ANN thread is a helpful tool to build the platform's reputation. The ANN thread reflects the hard work of the advertising team, how they wanna commit to the industry and how things are going under their sight. Separate thread for the announcement will also keep the the work neat and clean especially when you have campaign in the forum, you can just redirect some people asking question with a simple ANN thread link.

At least to me the answer is yes, you need an announcement thread here in the forum, not only this will help you get visibility to your casino it is also a place to receive complaints about your service that everyone can see, this is important because while a user can try to resolve things by using the customer support of the casino for the most part we do not see how the problem is resolved, but if you do this in public and we see that you actually care about the people that gamble in your casino and that you treat them with respect and try to solve their problems that only helps to grow your reputation.

But obviously if the casino mistreats their players in their thread this also gives us insight on the casino itself and most likely someone like me will decide to never play in that casino.
