I have just looked at the overview of lists of sites. it seems that casinos that use ann threads are more likely to be successful. it looks much nicer and above all more professional so that customers see that you are serious about it.

At least with an announchment thread many user here will see the ins and out of the gambling site itself. Comparing to some casino who didn't have any announchment thread and he just tell that they have a gambling site, it hard to believe and most likely the user here will consider that the gambling site is scam. It sould make a warn for those developer who has new gambling site. Moreover if the developer try to promote their gambling through this forum it would be nice and will attract new user here to gamble.

it's not necessary but it's optional it's up to the gambling site if they would choose to create announcement thread here there are some advantages on creating announcement thread here such as free exposure here in the forum also you will have the chance to interact with the players, post updates and hear feedback from them.

What you have to do is to actually invest a little time here which would not only mean you would have introduced you to the community but also give the people a chance to actually know you.

You do have an option there .. you definitely can skip this part but if writing here does mean you can go to a wider audience wouldn't it be really great for you ?

That's how some gambling sites play the game of competition, they can play dirty, and I believe that having a ANN thread would help them clear their names too as an ANN thread should not be limited to announcement only.

I have never thought about that but you are right, a casino that is going through some trouble to get clients may think that a competitor casino is responsible of this and try to ruin their reputation with a fake scam accusation in the forum since you can create an account anonymously.

However thanks to the trust system it is going to be very difficult to damage their reputation in the forum as most of the DT users ask for some kind of evidence before they tag and create a flag against a user, so at the end I do not think this tactic will be very effective in the forum but it could be outside of it where the trust system has no effect.

Well creating ANN thread for their casino is a must because its their way to advertise to the mass bitcoin users. Its best to create one before your competitors create one for you. often times when a casino already have a tainted reputation, its always going to be difficult to erase it in the minds of the users.

Some casino are dying to promote here in bitcointalk even with the bad reputation already, take advantage of creating your own thread.

I am completely sure that you have read the phrase "Unwritten Rule" but even more important is to understand its meaning in the depth of what it really means, so understanding that, any type of user with or without experience in the game or in the blockchain, want check if a certain casino came through the forum to expose their project.

The bitcointalk Gambling (e.g.) "ANN Thread" forum is a mandatory place where your project must be presented, at some point or phase of the project. That is an "Unwritten Rule" of any trusted project.

But best of all, is that some projects that do not go through here when they should, end up exposed by third parties, for false or good reasons, criticize them in such a way that they take away an important traffic of players, if not the most important that can exist for any project that exists related to the blockchain.

Really something as simple as making a thread of your project in the forum, "must" have an important consideration, as I already said in any phase of the launch, and if possible add financing for advertising, signature campaign, social media campaign , etc, any project must take marketing seriously, like the project itself, and that serious marketing must include the bitcointalk forum.

These tactics are common even into real-life scenario or investments then these kind of accusations does exist just for them to ruin up competitors reputation.Its not surprising that it do exist on this forum but
people arent that blind nor that too dumb to believe into such claims without any valid or solid evidences.

On the question if its worth or necessary to create and ANN thread on this forum then its definitely one of the best consideration that you should take.This place had the most or biggest traffic of
crypto users and if your site is based off with crypto then it would really be needed.
