This pandemic has greatly affected my economy, losing income because my busnises was unable to operate for several months (one month it started back operations but revenues decreased by more than 50%).
Was trying a new business but not going well yet, I am trying to stay positive even though 2021 may be more difficult than this year.
I hope the vaccine which is in the final stages of testing will be successful and can carry out normal activities and the world economy will improve again, which will definitely affect the economy of each person.

COVID-19 has destroyed many small business, with the bigger businesses taking their share of the economic pie. I believe many people lost jobs, but some are doing OK.

Curious, as Bitcoiners, how did the COVID-19 pandemic affect your financial situation, and what is your outlook for 2021?

Believe it or not,my financial situation in 2020 is better, compared with 2019 and 2018.I don't know how long will this continue, but I will have to prepare for the future.Maybe the financial crisis will hit me in the next year,so I will have to increase my savings.I don't know what will happen to the global economy in 2021,maybe it will be the same as 2020.The tech companies and the pharmaceutical industry will be booming, while the rest of the economy will stagnate.

I would point out this "as bitcoiners". We have luck (or call it however you wish) to be in crypto, to have crypto! And we can't complain too much, the price from March until now is more than double up, along with some other coins. Prognosis for the next year in crypto are good, many of us expect some new records to be achieved. Bottom line, if you are in crypto not only that you will survive any economic crisis, we have a chance to make some good profit if we really break some records next year, and possibility for that is very high.

The pandemic affects my financial situation by the first time the virus attack in my country because I feel that I need to spend more money to buy some primary and secondary needs in the local store. After all, that product gets limitations. But after a month or two month, the distribution of that product begin normal, and I think I don't spend more money like before. I am grateful that I can still buy my primary and secondary needs, and I can also help some member of my family buy what their needs daily.

Honestly, based on the current situation, I foresee that my economic outlook for year 2021 is not that clear so I am neutral because it would still dependent on the outcome if there would be an available vaccine by the end of this year to totally end up this pandemic which brings economic crisis to all of us. If that would happen, then my outlook for year 2021 would be positive for sure for I can regain my expenses this pandemic for there is no incoming earnings from businesses and I nearly become dependent on crypto works. On the other hand, if there would be no vaccine to be available by the end of this year, then I stand to have negative outlook for year 2021 for there is no glance of hope to see because the economic crisis would be passed through the upcoming year and that might get even worst.

So my perception on how my life would run for year 2021 is still neutral for I still do observe what would happen on the upcoming days, weeks and months if there will be an incoming good news for me to see positivity ahead to face year 2021 with great possibility of having a great year to look forward.

The stock market does not mirror the economic situation in any country, it's just one of the elements. Stock prices are speculations on select large establishments, the economy encompasses large firms as well as SMEs, both sectors which are quite disjointed and do not operate under the same conditions.
Also, stocks are up, cause sentiments are bullish, it could change at anytime and the bubble would burst.

No doubt with that. It has indeed affected many regardless of social status. But, even though I do not know what 2021 could possibly bring, I want to have a positive outlook. Well, as a saying goes, "There's always a rainbow after the rain." Right? Hopefully, 2021 is that rainbow after this year's very heavy rain. And I'm talking about all aspects — economically, physically, socially, mentally, financially, spiritually, etc. Let's all hope for the best but of course, preparing for the worst.

Actually the economic effect of Covid won't rectify itself in a span of merely a year. People who voted positive are just trusting their guts for a positive future but the truth is contrary. There has been a lot of money infusion in the global markets which is why almost every stock market around the world is behaving pretty stagnantly and looks pretty healthy but these markets aren't depicting the true health of their retail economies. Even the Central Bank Governor of India said that Indian stock markets are at a wide disconnect with actual economic conditions and will rectify. Moreover, another truth is that the GDP estimates of almost all the countries are going to see a sharp decline. Now in such a situation with infused liquidity and falling GDP conditions are going to become. Much more difficult for everyone.

I am not self-employed and i have one of those relatively secure jobs. The situation didn't affect me as much as a lot of others. There has been a little cut in the take-home but that because our organization just used COVID as an excuse to shore up their cash reserve.
Its a gud thing though to have bitcoin. Its a relief to know that despite the uncertainties, i am saving a little bit in bitcoin other than normal saving instruments. Apart from this, the pandemic has made the work place a bit slow and less busy. This has given sometime to re-orient my priorities as well as give up the "i don't have enough time" excuse.
I have also invested some money in stocks and they have been up for a while now. I am positive about 2021. There is no other way to plan for it i guess. I cannot imagine the next year continuing to be abnormal with all the restrictions and general negativity. The way the pandemics go, we cannot be sure that this is over yet. A lot of countries are seeing re-emergence of cases with lifting of lockdowns. We will have to see if this is going to be accepted as the new normal and we can all go on with normal lives or not.

Everyone is affected even the freelancers who works online for years were affected because employers are also laying down. They are cutting cost by removing employees so a lot of freelancers atually are force to take jobs as many as they could to support their family.

I have taken a job of a trash collector for a landlord who uses AirBNB. I walk 2 Kilometers everyday to collect the trash from his building thats how it affected me. I'm still lucky to have a job though.

We need to be positive and I'm glad those who voted are positive because this will soon be over there are people who never gets tired working to make a vaccine for this and we just need to show support and be positive in the situation that we are in.

We all witnessed that cryptocurrency has not been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, in contrast to other investments such as stocks
decline during this pandemic. So I, as a full time trader in cryptocurrency, see my economic outlook for 2021 to be very positive. Maybe
because I also had many online businesses that I ran before the pandemic happened, I didn't experience any financial difficulties.Because
in a situation like now the online business is growing.

Curious, as Bitcoiners, how did the COVID-19 pandemic affect your financial situation, and what is your outlook for 2021?
I like to say that next year will be a positive outlook but I will be realistic here. I don't think that next year will be a positive outlook but I'm not saying too that next year will be the same as the current year. For sure there will be a vaccine possible next year.

With regards to business sector, I know that many MSME's have been forced to shut down because of the pandemic and that is quite unfortunate for them. Many lost their jobs and people are suffering. Lucky for those who still have their job right now since most of the countries' lockdown has been eased already so people can work now.

With me as a Bitcoiner, it didn't affect me too much because my income source is online and I'm not going to an office anymore to work with others.

I'll go on Neutral since we are still waiting for the cure and for the vaccine, without vaccine people will still panic and will not recover that easily. I'm still hoping for a positive bounce back next year but for now, I have to think on how to survive everyday, and have to find ways to payback all my debts despite of the situation. Cryptocurrency will help us, let's keep working and try our best everyday.

It is not that bad to think about the reality even if it is not good or if it is negative.

Truth will make us more think practically so that we are prepared when we are already in that situation. Let's accept the fact that we didn't expect this pandemic to hit us, so probably we have no idea when we will overcome this. It is really hard to make a vaccine that is guaranteed safe for a long period of time because it can affect some with its side effect.

By that, it can affect businesses around the world to operate inappropriately and for sure, the economy can worsen by this.

So I don't think that a year is enough to see the world go back to its normal state again, I think this will really take a lot more time, like 5 years for us humans to live again peacefully without fear of this pandemic.

A lot of things changed, and its quiet hard to live on a new normal but we must adopt if until the Covid-19 has gone. I'm still making bitcoin through my trading and I can say that it becomes more profitable especially when bitcoin hits the price of $12k and some other altcoins also made me profitable. I can't see myself on a negative side, I just can't afford to stop from working. 2021 will be a great year, no more virus and we will slowly go back to our normal life, I'm really hoping for this next year.

I'll go with a positive outlook in my 2021 because we need to be positive in any aspect excluding positive in CoronaVirus. Positivity vibes will help us to recover even if our recovery will take time, sooner or later we will survive this pandemic. I hope the vaccine testing will be successful. We can or can't recover instantly but small steps at a time will create a big change in our world.

This pandemic is really affecting the majority and if you are going to look at a wider range of perspectives, this pandemic is not helpful in the economy at all. But gladly, I can still manage to generate small income and help with my family and we're still able to survive everyday expenses.

As for the economic outlook, I'm looking forward to the next year that it will start to recover from all the damages this pandemic has brought because I'm hoping by that time, the vaccine is already available.

I'm hoping that in the second half of 2021 the pandemic will be mostly over, and maybe the vaccine will finally arrive. The real vaccine, not the imaginary one that populist politicians are talking about. Then the economy will start recovering. If I wanted to be optimistic, I would even say that the global economy will start recovering in the end of this year, and businesses adapt to the pandemic.

I think the economic recovery is good for Bitcoin, because despite all the talks of it being a hedge, it actually doesn't do well if economy is falling.
