Polkadot is really good to be honest, I'm sure it's future performance will be big and may probably take over the position of few top altcoins too, another great project from 2020 is Avalanche, honestly I don't expected new projects to be this capable, either ways it feels damn good and I hope more good projects will find their ways here this 2021

as of today, Polkadot entered top ten list of coins, pushing BNB out from the top ten, and BSV on the position ten
Polkadot is smart contract platform, and could be serious contender to Ethereum and other platforms, with Cardano just a few percents away on position eight

yes, I saw Polkadot price increase 79.40% in the last 7 days and that made Polkadot into the top 10 on coinmarketcap, but if you say Polkadot is a serious competitor to Ethereum, then I think it's still difficult for Polkadot, because in my opinion nothing can beat Ethereum and of course the project from Ethereum is the best for now, because there are still many people who use platform from Ethereum (smart contract).

I think that half a kadot is similar to other decentralized projects, but it has its own characteristics. The fact that the project managed to break into the top 10 in such a short time says only one thing - it has been well invested. What will come of it in the end, let's see. yeah, and it is hard to expect from DOT to do the same, ETH is above all the competition for the moment, but market capitalization is providing the same information as well, although there is only few positions between ETH and DOT, ADA, there is an order of magnitude difference in market capitalization, where as ETH is around $100 billion and competition is not reaching even $10 billion
nevertheless, some competition will get their breath, and stay within top 20, which should provide sufficient gains in the future, while others will go out and probably fade-away

Polkadot is a strong undertaking, which may be underestimated at the present time . I've been exchanging it and furthermore considering to go long haul on it. I question if there is any altcoin out there which is Ethereum's huge competitor, so many have been advertised to beat ETH.

This is amazing, I didn't even expect it to be this good. Polkadot surprise this month, surely this will continue to fly. It has been a long time since I heard of a project this good that able to shift the old coins/projects.

About Polkadot heard a lot of positive reviews. Some believe that the DOT will shift the Ethereum with the second position, and take the place of Alcona leader. But recently, so much information about the killers of ETHand Bitcoin. The project as a whole is not bad!

Rococo test-net is launched just prior to new year, and that could be the reason for price spike, with all-round green market as well, DOT underperformed BTC/ETH from August, and it is project time to keep up with majors, we will see what future holds for the coin

Staking on the platform is above 60%, and it is second largest staking coin, behind ADA, so there is not much usability at the moment, but with test-net launched, should be in the future

I think the main reason why polkadots went so high and climb up as part of the top 10 in the crypto-ranking is that many big institutions, corporations and maybe millionaires and billionaires see a very huge potential of this altcoin and it's team developer is really working to maintain its satisfying platform for everyone.

DOT only needs a few billions to be able to surpass XRP and it might happen very soon dude. We will see that whether DOT will become a new member of 4th place position to replace ripple.
This garbage coin must be replaced with a better coin like DOT. DOT has more functionality compared with RIPPLE and that's why DOT must be placed at the 4th place.

where it will go from here is a question, there is no much development on the network at the moment, or to put it better, there is a lot of work and development, but not much finished products, and best use-case for DOT is staking, with more 60% tokens staked

As per today polkadot has reach top 5 club and maybe it will goes high again in the next 1 year, the reason polkadot going high is, many developer built dapps and DeFi on it, because the transaction fees is lower then ethereum and the network has feature ( cross chain data exchange ).

Hi All,

I couldn't find the Polkadot ANN thread so I posted my question here. This is regarding my transaction issue.

I had in my account 99.5 coins so I send all of them by thinking it will auto deduct the transaction fee then got the issue of insufficient balance. SO I made a second transaction by misusing the transaction fee and it gives this issue

transfer/payment would kill the account

Any suggestion on how to fix this error?
