NEO doesn't have too much investor interest. In 2020 I don't see any real outstanding news about this project, which is why the price of NEO has not gone up as drastically as other altcoins. You can invest in it, but I advise you to invest a little in it because there is a lot of risk and the price will not be able to go up too much.

If I were you I would move away from most of these old coins, there are many people holding the bags and this is what is keeping them down unless they come up with the next big thing. The bag holders will keep dumping them and the price will not go up. The investors are just waiting for the new investors to take their bags.

I also invested heavily in NEO and am waiting for it, now the price has gone up to 18 $ and still keep going up. Neo is a sleeping giant but many investors are not happy now because of long bears but right now selling will not be good decision so it is better to hold and wait for bull season to take profits if you need.

That depends on your personal goals, are you looking to make some money during the next weeks? Then it is probably a better option to let the market tell you what direction it wants to take before you do that, I say this because we have seen three negative days in a row and maybe we could see even more in the future and you don't want to invest in an asset that it is going down in price, however if you want to invest in this coin for the long term then this could be a good moment to do it but only if you're willing to accept the price could go down in the short term

i will say that the first reply on this post is the best option to your question. what ever you do with your funds is your choice. if you have meaningful reason for buying NEO, Go ahead and do that if not, just know you are gambling. you should do your research before investing in any token you wish to avoid loosing your hard earn funds.

I just want to say that no one can give you advice about the best time for buying. But if ask about invest in NEO for the long term?? I will say Yes, you should invest in this coin. Neo is a great project with a solid team, the rank, the trading volume, the circulation supply are good. But the general lesson before investing in any coin is to do your own research

I don't think the user will come again here in a short period and actually he need this advice. Maybe he could not find how he starts again and just asked some suggestions about NEO. Its being long since there is any update about NEO. It is just like other coin LTC and Wave however, if you want to invest in NEO I will suggest you accumulate little by little. Most importantly when the coin is at deep. Even though anything can happen at anytime, I'm very sure you know you should be thinking of long term investment and not short term

You like the coin, I can’t tell why you like it and you didn’t state the reason why you do, but I would say that it’s very important that you understand the risks you’re about to take and study the market before investing. It’s good that you do this yourself, if you’re going to be asking questions, you’re not going to get one answer because some people will say yes and others will say No.

So, it is best that you do proper research and understand the market first and where it’s heading to before you start. I have known about NEO for long, but my interest has never been in it, I already have coins I am investing in, and I like to focus on them.

I think neo has been left behind by most new projects. There are old projects that have same purpose with eth that has not improved. Im saying this cause most new defi prefer either eth platform, or polkadot new subtrate. Among other things, neo does not have any progress on launching anything related to defi so its gonna be a tough competition so seeing that must be the reason of it being stuck.

Make sure you buy only when there is dump in price, don't buy at 18$ but if price goes down to old ATH last month you can buy, crypto investment is all about calculations and timings, is twice safer to buy at lower price than buying at high price

You must have a definite reason you're choosing that, probably you have been studying it for a while and you can  foresee something.  I know NEO to be one of the top altcoins, it's not bad if you invest in it, but must have a tangible reason why you're choosing any coin to invest in.  All the best.

If i were you i would, but just about 20% of my investment capital,  i think NEO is still a promising coin, it is still very competitive in the cryptocurrencies market. But do not put all eggs in one basket, except NEO, i will invest in the other two or three cryptocurrencies.
