This week, only Arsenal and Manchester City managed to win the match. Liverpool, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester United who were ranked 3rd to 6th had to lose points. Arsenal still leads the standings with a 1 point advantage over Manchester City, but Arsenal is still not safe because Manchester City has not played its postponed match.

Arsenal's next three matches are against Bournemouth, Manchester United and Everton. Meanwhile Manchester City have to face Wolves, Fulham, Tottenham and West Ham. I think Manchester City has a big chance to take the top of the standings from Arsenal in the next 3 matches, of course only if they can really win those three matches in a row.

After all, the point is because Manchester City still has one match postponed, then ofcourse Manchester City will be able to overtake Arsenal at the top of the Premier League standings. Because yes, Arsenal and Manchester City only have a gap of one point and therefore whatever team Manchester City will be next opponent, I personally will remain confident that Manchester City will succeed in overtaking Arsenal . But indeed, at this moment it is not because of Arsenal's fault but purely because Manchester City has a postponed match which makes Manchester City have a very good chance of winning the Premier League trophy for the fourth time in a row. But yes, if Manchester City fails to maximize the one postponed match they have, then Arsenal will succeed in remaining at the top of the standings, let's wait and see.

Arsenal will try their best to secure full points in the remaining 3 matches, and hope that Wolves, Fulham, Tottenham or West Ham can help them tackle City. That's the only way for Arsenal to win the Premier League trophy this season, if they don't lose to Aston Villa previously, then Arteta fleet doesn't have to rely on these four teams to help them.

Luckily Arsenal were able to bounce back after losing to Aston Villa, and beat Wolves, Chelsea and Tottenham to maintain their hopes of winning the trophy. Arsenal last two matches were actually quite troublesome, but Arteta managed to bring his fleet to beat them. In the future, there is only one more tough challenge for them, namely facing United, the other two matches are relatively easy. However, that doesn't change the fact that City has a big chance of overtaking their position at the top of the standings.

Arsenal will certainly be very grateful to City next 4 potential opponents, if they are able to hold back Pep Guardiola fleet, even though on paper City have a better chance of beating them all and securing full points. It's true, we need to be patient to see what the scenario of the remaining matches is, to see who will succeed in winning the Premier League trophy this season.

I haven't check the futures until I saw your comments and you are right about that, it seems most of the teams that needed this points in this interesting times are the ones that aren't having it, only Manchester City and Arsenal are still in form but both of the team were on the brick of losing their matches today. Arsenal had a 3 goals leaded only to conceded 2 later and Manchester City almost fell out from the hands of Nothingham if not that they couldn't maximize their chances.

Achieving that record I think is very possible for manager like Guardiola and considering the teams they'll face in their remaining four league fixtures of the season, it's very very likely that Guardiola will achieve his aim.
Manchester City will face Wolves at home in their next league game before traveling to Fulham for their 36th league game of the season. After the Fulham game, they'll travel to Arsenal before hosting West Ham for their last game of the season. The most difficult match in paper in all three games they'll play this season is the game against Tottenham Hotspur and if they can win that game, winning their last league game against West Ham shouldn't be a big problem

The EPL is not friendly and the inconsistent teams are probably the ones that suffered this season, losing vital points. Jurgen Klopp made a mistakes and he won't enjoy anything regarding his last season at Anfield. It's over between for him as the new coach will fly in. Liverpool not in apprehended good form and it gave been a huge difference, decrease in performance.

It is a huge issue and I am not convinced how to answer that. We can see again and again that problems arise even for teams that are under management when Klopp is the guy who has something to say. I thought weeks ago that Liverpool would be the team dominating the league, now they are going down and down. I didn't see that coming...

Even till this moment, I can't point to anything as being responsible for the problems of Liverpool. From the middle of the season and even towards the end, they were playing so well and contesting for the title. But somehow along the line they fell off the cliff for reason I do not know because they still have most of their key players intact as well as the same coach that have been there for long. The case of Liverpool is really a huge surprise that I can only say that luck ran out of their outgoing coach Klopp. Let us see if the coming of Feyenoord coach Arne Slot will be able to bring in that confidence and team play that they desperately need.

They won the match against Luton Town 2-1 at home, it might be a valuable asset to improve the morale of the players ahead of the away match against Manchester City. Obviously the Spurs fought so hard but then the gunners had their game very well so much so that they were even able to make sure the maintain a goal knowing what's at stake for them today and they have to literally hold their position so firmly that they weren't actually even doing well statistically but they got victory at the end of the games because they knew how important this game actually is to them.

They are very much aware of what's at stake if they happen to loose a single game in this moment because they are definitely not going to be able to achieve that which they aim at achieving this season, and going by all their performance in recent times, it's very obvious they are willing to be able to win the trophy this season from the defending champions who happens to be Manchester city,i really admire Arsenals resilience this season as they have showed that against all odds they are going to make sure what happened last season doesn't get to repeat.

Arsenals performance against spurs wasn't a very brilliant or excellent one but they made sure to do what's important which was maintaining the three points they needed for them to still maintain their position and be able to have a chance to secure the trophy despite the pressure seen from Manchester city since the beginning of the season especially at this time when they are about to end the season.

I guess I fell for trap of thinking that Manchester City will score many goals today, the reason I played them on goals. If Manchester City cannot score more goals then it will be my please to see Nottingham Forest score to make the league interesting.
