Goals still matter though and if you can score more goals even in a match you’re already winning, it’ll be a great thing for you going forward. What they call goal difference is very important in football and any team that’s able to create a big goal margin between them and their most closest opponent, it’ll be of advantage to them sooner when they are sharing same points on the league table. Arteta is a good coach, I haven’t lost faith in him yet, maybe he can do what we’ve been expecting from him when he took charge of the club in this season, winning the premier league trophy.

Former Chelsea player now pundit, Mikel Obi has been ranting about how Chelsea needs a striker who can score goals, criticizing Nicolas Jackson’s performance at Chelsea and favoring Victor Osimhen for that role. Your points are very valid and Jackson is not a striker you can depend on to score goals for you at anytime you want goals even when the chances are created for him, he’s not a good finisher when compared to Victor Osimhen. The criticism by the former Chelsea player on Nicholas Jackson was suppose to be done privately and not publicly, no player will like to be criticised like that openly. He should have at least suggested a new striker but not saying the present one isn’t good and the new one will be better than him. There’s a way he can pass this message without Nicholas feeling hurt, but in my opinion, he did it the wrong way.

Come on, don't expect too much from Arsenal because they have disappointed their fans too often. It's not about how strong their defense is, not how creative their midfielders are, nor how productive their attackers are, but this about the winning mentality that Arsenal lacks.

The disappointment occurred because they expected too much of Arsenal when if we look at the conditions even though they are one of the clubs that are quite considered for the last few seasons but we can ultimately realize that their mentality is still quite lacking.

They are still very competitive but in the end when their mentality is still inferior to Manchester City then everything will remain the same. But even so I think they have also made a lot of progress until now and the evidence that they have always been in the runner up in the last 2 seasons is a consideration that Arsenal have indeed tried their best.

By looking at these considerations, of course the hope of competition even for champions is still there even though it is not greater than Manchester City with their superior strength under the cold hands of Pep who can always make the moments created into advantages but Arsenal's hard work in recent seasons deserves appreciation.

Guardiola is more of a strategic person that Arteta and that's why he knows better when and how to take his best shot on matches that can give him lead to win the Premier League and not give his fans all hope and disappoint later.

You can't give what you don't have and truth to be told, Arteta can't do that right now unless Guardiola and hs boys got too to much Injuries which I'm not sir  to be likely but I know for a fact that Guardiola will still bag this Premier League title with ease ad nothing will happen.

One of the matches that is expected to be tense this weekend is the match between Arsenal vs Brighton. Arsenal fans exception is always very high every season, but they are always disappointed at the ending of the season because they don’t always achieve what their fans  want. For the past two seasons, Arsenal have been ending the season in second position, they are finding it difficult to take the first position from Manchester City no matter how hard they try. We are always in a new season, and if I will be honest, it’s going to be difficult for Arsenal to win the Premier League this season. I am still expecting Manchester City to win it this season also.
 
Arsenal are playing well currently, but I'm still expecting their performance to drop before the season ends, because that’s what has been happening to them, and I'm sure it’s going to happen this season also.

I think Arsenal have changed for good this season; getting a new midfielder to get everything right is the best thing as they have it now, so I believe everything will go smoothly as we want. However, the Premier League is very tough competition, but I think Arsenal can also make it to the final and get the title, as if Manchester City were very strong; no one will argue that, but as it is now, we are also ready for them this season. Arteta has already fixed our problem, and we are fully ready for the tittle race this season; none stop this time around. 

Manchester City and Liverpool are the only clubs that I personally think would become headache for Arsenal this season. We know the tactical changes towards these Arsenal squad, the Gunners expects to maintain their stellar performance this season. Mikel Arteta have done his best to zealed up the potentials and explore good results for the club. Arsenal have focused more on winning matches. Mikel Arteta will not be pleased with the channeling of energy towards average clubs, they've build an empire and trying to develop the club into another dimension, basically a good run for the club.

Saying that Arsenal has changed for this season seems like Arsenal has not been good. For the past two seasons, Arsenal has been the best team in England to my personal assessment. These guys are good and they play good football as well. The problem of the team comes towards the end of the season when they will lose focus both in the European competition and the English Premier League and other local trophies.

So, the major work lies on the coach Michael Arteta to be able to know how to manage his team now that he got a good squad depth and remain strong till the end of the season.

Remember that Arsenal always fail at the end of the season and open the way for Manchester City. This is clearly a weakness that Arteta should be able to patch up this season, but it's not easy to change it in an instant. Arsenal's performance consistency is good at the beginning of the season, but they will decline as the season draws to a close, that's the scenario of their failure so far.

True, Arsenal always starts up very promising and flops at the end. I think Arterta should find a better strategy to managing players fatigue at the ending of season. Guardiola manages his team's league finishing better and that's why he's always taking the trophies away from Arsenal. Last season's own pained me the most as I thought it's then or no one, only to wake-up to the dead reality that city lifted the trophy.

Chelsea is currently struggling in the second leg of the play-off round in the Conference League against Servette. And even though Chelsea controlled the game very well, they are now 2-1 behind their opponents. but Chelsea already had the advantage from the first leg. So if Chelsea maintains its current score then Chelsea should still qualify with an aggregate lead of 1 goal.

In the Premier League in the last match we saw Chelsea improving. and maybe the results of the match in the European Conference league can also be a reference for predicting their next match in the premier league. And in the next match against Crystal Palace I think I will favor Chelsea.

What exactly Chelsea did in this game is playing with my comprehension because the more I try to understand it, the more its not making enough sense to me, this is a team they literally won with a good margin in the last game but here they are struggling with the same team to the point they lost the game against the team because they weren't capable enough to win this team in the second leg, they only had the advantage that they had a lot of home goal advantage that's keeping them ahead, else they would have lost terribly but on the aggregate they are still winning. This is a sign of another season of inconsistency for Chelsea as I don't see any better way to best describe the situation currently because like I said earlier it's not adding up enough to make sense to me sadly.

Lolz 😂 that is Chelsea for you. They always play the contrary for fans. Because they played well in their previous match and won 6 - 2 and they misbehave in this game. Chelsea underated Servette and that was why they were beaten by them. In football you don't overlook another team because your don't their squad in the field and how lucky they might be in that game. Chelsea is trying to do their best in the EPL and not in the Conference League.

Although it sounds harsh, the fact is that for now when other clubs want to win then they must pray that Mancehster City has internal problems such as injuries or there are points deductions that do involve allegations that are currently still under investigation so that other clubs including Arsenal might be able to become champions in the EPL.

But as long as that still cannot happen then we cannot do much because Pep Guardiola is still too extraordinary until now so it is very difficult to knock down Pep's dominance with all the conveniences he has in terms of squad, finance and his winning mentality.
It is not wrong that until now there are still hopes for Arsenal because their performance in the last 2 seasons is very good but in the end there is still a big wall that Arsenal need to pass, namely Manchester City, which is currently still too strong with the status of defending champions who have been irreplaceable in the last 4 seasons.

The funny thing about this is that Manchester City in the last two seasons had small drops in performance at the beginning and middle of the season, but at the end of the season they recovered in an unbelievable way, for example in the last two seasons in which Manchester City dropped in performance at the beginning and middle of the season and Arsenal who were consistent at the beginning and middle of the season managed to have an advantage of more than 3 places in relation to Manchester City but at the end of the season Manchester City improved their performance and managed to overcome Arsenal who dropped in performance at the end of the season, Arsenal has lost against very weak teams at the end of the season and even in European competitions. So this makes Arsenal not be seen as a serious team to win the Premier League.

In as much as I agree with you on some points here like the league been easy for the past few years for the Manchester city team I will say Arteta has done just fine at arsenal and could do more if he has both the financial backing and the caliber of player that at the disposal of Pep Guardiola. This though is in no chance comparing them both because Pep Guardiola to me is arguably one of the greatest manager ever in world football, but let’s not undermine the impact that Arteta has had on arsenal. He has been two times runner up with points that are enough to win the league in other years which means he is good but Manchester City are just so exceptional. Why wouldn’t they when they actually have almost every position best player in the league.

I think Arteta will grow with this new challenges from Manchester city but he needs to actually get players with the standard of Manchester city and also stop being so sympathetic with players and play the right player at the right moment, different tactics for different games that’s why Pep edged ahead of everyone in this league

He has been improving the team in every season, their points keep improving season by season, and last season they got 89 points behind Manchester City that won the league with just two points above Arsenal.
It is time for Arsenal to start winning trophies, they have tried to create a strong squad with quality depth so that they will be very difficult to beat. Arteta has the best defensive team record last season as Arsenal defenders conceded less goals than expected. Arsenal home and away lose to Aston Villa caused them the title together with their defeat against Newcastle United just few games to go.

I didn't watch the match. But the match has now ended with Chelsea losing with a score of 2-1. So I feel that it is still difficult for us to trust Chelsea in the next week in the Premier League. Maybe their only opponent is Crystal Palace. And Chelsea also hosted the match. It's just that this club's inconsistency in every match always makes me afraid to bet on the matches they play. As hosts, Chelsea can still be favourites. But a draw could also happen in this match. Well I haven't decided whether to believe them or not. But if they can play as well as they did against Wolves then maybe my confidence in them will be higher.

I'm beginning to sense a repeat of what Chelsea and Manchester United did last season because from how Chelsea played in this playoffs of this conference league tonight am wondering if they can even go far despite still winning Servette on goal aggregate of 2:3. Last season it was the same win and lose in most of their matches and they seems to have also started this season in same direction because they lost their first game against Manchester City, won their second against Wolves and now they have lost to Servette even though they won them in their first meeting but the way they are winning one match and losing the other is not helping the club at all. Who knows what the outcome of their match will be against Crystal Palace in the Premier league on Sunday because Sunday is just 3 days from now and some of their players will be exhausted from this game against Servette so i don't know how they will manage to win Crystal Palace on Sunday. Well the league is still new, let's hope they make improvements in the upcoming weeks then people can have more confidence in them if they play more better.

This is exactly what Arteta and Arsenal did last season, but that wasn't enough for them to win the league. They conceded the fewest goals in the league and scored 91 goals; only Man City scored more. However, they still didn't win the league simply because they lost two more games than Manchester City.
I must be honest, competing with Pep is a tough thing to too. If you want to win against Pep you have to do what Levekusen did to Bayern Munich, finish the season unbeaten, and we know finishing the season without losing is near impossible for Arsenal in the premier league.

What I'm certain of is that it's going to be a competing season between these two again, but I feel Man City will win the league a little easier than they did last season because right now they have a better team than they did last season.

Exactly, if only Arteta can put more enough on the team to have more wins during the end of the season than starting very well and end up losing the trophy to other team then arsenal would continue to see the light.

I sometimes wonder what really is the matter with them because as soon as its 3 - 4 matches away from final the team always loss their point and this has repeated twice now which should have given the coach a stand to figure out where the problem lays but believe they might have a solution this season because they already have a strong team that has all it takes to hold the trophy.
