Big win for everton side after they stopped a 4 game losing streak after a win over Newcastle in the 9th minutes of stoppage time, they were just 10 men, though Newcastle dominated the game. All thanks to the Nigerian wonder boy Alex Iwobi who gave Everton the lead after his late strike which throw his opponents into regrets of not scoring, everton needed this point more than Newcastle so that they could escape from the relegation zone, which they are trying really hard to slide over. Newcastle have just recorded a two lose in a row and their next match will be against Tottenham.

I like Everton, and will not like to see them relegated especially as some of my favourites "Iwobi", and Lampard are at the club. it was a very important three points for Everton and the build up to the goal even to the finishing was pure artistry. Everton really have had a series of consecutive games were they lost, even coming into the game due to their previous results, i was a bit skeptical if they could defeat Newcastle, maybe the home advantage was helpful in motivating the players to get a win, all the same... congratulations to the team for the win, it was much celebrated, even Lampard the Everton coach said he broke his hands in the course of celebrating the goal.

I think Newcastle were just unlucky to get points in their last two match where those two defeats came just as the match was almost over. Chelsea beat them 1-0 in the 90th minute, while Everton beat them in the 90+9 minute. It hurts because the match is almost over.

But overall I think Newcastle did their best to win a match where they also managed to dominate possession, try goals and e.t.c. Newcastle were just unlucky not to score, while Everton were very lucky with a late goal after one of their players was shown a red card in the 80th minute. It is true that Newcastle's second straight loss so far was very unexpected as they came close to sealing a point at the end of the match.

Newcastle has not shown signs of a revival as a new big club in the Premier League competition after being acquired by the Prince of Saudi Arabia. Newcastle's financial strength has not been able to improve their performance on the field, until week 29 Newcastle are still ranked 14th with 31 points.
I think Newcastle's real performance will be seen in the next season, the generous funds that Newcastle have are able to bring top players to st James' Park.

Newcastle had improved and revived in their performance since it was taken over by the new owners, recall they are in relegation zone few months ago before January transfer window, they bought two or three quality players, thereafter won many matches consecutively and consequently escaped or moved out of relegation zone, thus their still room for improvement, they are quite unlucky in their last two matches they deserve a draw unfortunately lost those matches narrowly.
Next season we will watch a new rejuvenated Newcastle side boosted with quality new signings and challenging the big teams.

I congratulate Everton on their win. Newcastle played a hard match with their defending techniques, giving their opponent a hard time! It was a hard match for the ref with the team down to 10 players. 10-man Everton won a dramatic match after halftime, but they had to win for their own sake.

It's just a Chelsea thing, after having an impressive run then you meet Chelsea and get defeated, you begin to experience bad games (loses). I remember Brentford having same run until they met Chelsea at the early stage of the season and their weakness got exposed and they haven't been themselves since then. From the stats Newcastle deserve a point from the game if football was been fair but that's not always the case. Newcastle had control of the game but couldn't get the ball at.the back of the net and they paid heavily for that by losing all three points.

Everton goals was scored by someone I wouldn't have expected to scored, Iwobi I think this is just his first goal for the season for the club and the minute he scored it is now the second latest goals in the premier league. I didn't watch this match but what could have lead to them playing over that long additional minutes?.

Last minutes goal from Alex Iwobi help Everton keep get chance from relegation zone and now collected 25 points behind 3 points from Watford as latest team on relegation zone, but Everton still have two match left and completed get 6 points from two match left could make Everton back 14th standing position although is not easy. I think not only as top standing position most competitive but also on bottom position still have most competitive because left few points only, still not any team have relegation to championship although Norwich City as bottom position standing because just leaving few points only from Everton.

It was three points that could be the breath of life for Everton. Frank Lampard needed this. They are in the relegation zone and three points will push them out of this zone. I was surprised by the Everton win as I thought Newcastle United would win. I'm also happy that Everton won. Just like the excitement of the championship race, there is excitement in the relegation zone.

What a hard game, Newcastle just give the opponents hard time by their defending techniques. They couldn’t even take advantage of Allan’s red card to hold the game. Pure and simple, Everton wanted the 3 points more than Newcastle United, because there was lack of desire to finish them off when they went down to 10 men. The 1st half they controlled the game, while in the 2nd half they lost that control. They also had big chances to score, but misssed a lot of chances until Alex Iwobi found the back of the net in the 99th minute to send Everton into meltdown as they picked up a vital three points in their bid to avoid relegation from the Premier League. They really needed this win..I don't want to see them get relegated at the end of the season.

Arsenal played their best game in the first half, in the second half they were not that fantastic. Liverpool knew what they wanted. They didn't play their best game what they needed was the result. Bringing in Firmino to pressure the gunners, I think Firmino's goal was world class, Jota goal was also spectacular. 

What's funny about this whole match was that Liverpool top strikers didn't play the match. Mo Salah wasn't on the pitch and Liverpool scored two meaning if Mo Salah was available, the goals would had been more than two, maybe both him and Mane would had gotten a goal or two extra. Arsenal aren't yet worthy of taking a point for any top3 teams. They have lost to Manchester city and both legs to Liverpool. I won't be surprised if they lose also when they play Chelsea.

Friday is the deadline for the buy bid of Chelsea football club, what are you guys thinking of this takeover that would be coming to Chelsea. Do you think it'll affect them negatively or positively in regards to been as successful as they were under the previous owner.

A huge step for Everton in their relegation fight yesterday. They were inferior throughout the game and I thought there is no way they will win after Allan's red card - but the winning goal was actually really nice.

They are now 4 points ahead of Burnley who I consider to be their main rivals for relegation. Everton has a schedule from hell so they will need this points buffer going forward - especially since they play against each other in April.

Leeds is also in a really bad spot, they need a good result against Wolves tonight.

yes I think this is a very crucial win for Everton because they can stay away from the relegation zone, but luckily for Everton they can still stay away from this red zone because they still have 2 games left this means if they can get full points then they can make looted further with 9 points and I think this is difficult for Watford to catch up.

One late goal from Alex Iwobi was enough to help Everton decide how vulnerable they are to the loss they have suffered in the last 4 matches.
in this match Newcastle played very well they played attacking from the beginning of the game and could control the game very well but unfortunately their 5 Shots on Target failed to produce a goal, and I also think the goal that Everton got in the last minute was lucky for them, they played very badly even though this match was played at their home ground.
I think if Everton can't get back up and get back to their best they will most likely be in the relegation zone because the difference in points with Watford who are in the relegation zone is only 3 points adrift even though Everton still have 2 points. the remaining games they haven't played.

After failing to get points when they met Liverpool, Arsenal will now travel to Aston Villa's headquarters. The defeat to Liverpool last week shows that they are not really ready to meet other top teams. Now Aston Villa who will be their opponents are certainly below the team they faced yesterday. I see Arsenal will get three points again in this match.
