Which means that if Spurs wins, that would make them 54 points as well but Arsenal has a missing game, with which they could get a tie or a win and still be above Spurs. If Arsenal wins, the difference will be big enough that I would see Spurs fighting for 5th position against United instead of fighting for 4th spot with Arsenal. Obviously we still have a ton of time to go, maybe some other things could happen meanwhile and it will not even matter as much as we think it should. I am not saying that it will not matter at all, but the difference could be bigger or small by then.

Antonio Conte is the only reason Tottenham Hotspur are considered among the favourite to take the fourth place position this season, he has truly improved the team so much, there mentality has started to change,I saw many improvements in their victory against West ham last week,things will go better for Tottenham if he can take them to champions League,then I think Levy (spurs chairman) can support him financially to get quality signing and one position he will like to strengthen fast is the right back position, Emerson Royal is not a premier League player,so I think he will go for the guy that replace Hakimi at inter since he can't get the morroco from Paris Saint Germain, I think player's like isco  and Dybala will be free agent ready to play for Conte in a London club and with such players he has gotten his creativity he crave for then at summer I think inter Milan will listen to Tottenham for Lautaro Martinez and Tottenham has gotten a front man to challenge Harry Kane in the number nine position, and he can look for a strong central defender to complete a strong Tottenham team to win him title and break the curse.

It is rather unnecessary to even make any comparisons between the two teams. Liverpool is a team striving to become champions, there is only one point difference from the leader of the league. The other team is one of the worst teams in the league. I don't think we will encounter any surprise results.

That could be the case. I used to view them as a good team but always crumbles towards the end of the season. They look tougher now.

The rules have changed,even if westham win the Europa League,the team that end up at fourth in the premier League will still go to the champions League it will make it five teams from England, it happened when Sevilla won it five teams in Spanish league went to the tournament.
Yes arsenal still has a game at hand but that doesn't mean that because of that the win go to the champions League, they are  lot of games to be played before the season end, arsenal still has lot of difficult matches like Manchester United who are fighting for the top four also and Liverpool who are winning all there games so they can catch up Manchester City and also there direct north London rival Tottenham Hotspur so is not over until is over.

I think it's true that Manchester City's main target in the Champions League is their first title, but that doesn't have to cost them the Premier League title which I think is just as important to have every season.

Both are important but at some point, manager gotta make sure that their players are fit for the next game so instead of pushing his main lineup then he might make some adjustment to it. These small adjustment and substitution might affect the team so they could probably lose a game or get a draw at some point on the league.

Pretty sure Pep is going to keep his main lineup fit for UCL game though

Hope we are not underestimating sterling, De Bruyne and G. Jesus and Grealish then the likes of Fernandinho and B. silva. I am not saying Liverpool's front liners are not capable but Mancity are playing at home and will not want to lose to Liverpool like they did to tottenham. In my opinion, Liverpool's mentality has the upper hand, because Liverpool have been able to cut the distance of points that had touched 14 points to just one, within three months. I think it will be a motivation for Liverpool

This is amazing skill which they adopted under current manager Jürgen Klopp and surely it helps them in this season as we all know in last season they have terrible time and mostly peoples were feeling they need some more time.

I don't think Westham is going to drop to 8th place, they only compete with Wolves for 7th place. Westham is a much better team to maintain his position in 7th place, Wolves is simply not an equal opponent (competitor). But I don't judge it is impossible, it may happen if Westham has bad luck and significantly decreased their performance constantly.

They have dropped form maybe because of fatigue, or injury which are the main factors in the lose of form from any team.

I didn't hear the rumor about the injury problem on the Westham squad. The reason that they dropped their performance is probably about inconsistency and they sadly should fight with strong teams in the last few matches.

Both Manchester City and Liverpool are big clubs that has handled both champions league and local league title challenges simultaneously. For some recent seasons both has handled that very well because they both have good coaches and not only that, most importantly they have very good team depth. It will not be a difficult situation for them to rotate players and still have results. This kind of conditions are always disastrous for clubs that has no strong second eleven. It always result to re-use of important players which will lead to fatigue.

And at this level, they should be dealing with such situations nicely. And it is still very hard to predict the champion team of this season. Liverpool's recent effort has been much more impressive than Manchester City's. Because Manchester City lost points in many simple games lately. Liverpool seem to be more credible team for now but the truth is they are still one point behind Manchester City. This is a valuable advantage for Manchester City as long as they keep it that way.

Maybe some core players will be rested just to play in the champions league (only 4 days later with the match vs Burnley), so that play in the premier league as just the second player. but of course, that very risk, even against Burnley a club which degradation zone, if they can't get a win, Liverpool can beat them in 1st stand.

There shouldn't be such thing as getting bored of winning Premier League titles for Manchester City. The Premier League is the most prestigious league in the world I think.

You don't have to think bud, Premier league has always been the most prestigious league right from the beginning even when the likes of Messi and Ronaldo were playing at La Liga. We had just Real Madrid and Barcelona giving premier league teams issues in the champions league due to the financial backings this clubs had but now they're all crumbling majorly due to lack of finance. Just qualifying for top 4 in the premier league is an achievement on its own that's to show you how competitive the premier league is.
In regards to Manchester city getting tired of winning the premier league, I don't think that will ever happen. Infact if Manchester City can cast a spell to make them keep winning for the next ten years they'll because they have a lot to catch up on in regards to bragging rights on number of premier league trophies won. Right now Manchester united are miles ahead and didn't they just catch up to Chelsea?

I think a team getting tired just because of winning the league title over and over again is just a stupid assumption to make, no offense. 
I mean the teams are playing for that title, right?  that is the purpose of playing the league.

If you don't want to win or are just tired of winning,  it means that there is not enough competition for you in the league. which is obviously not true. And that is a lot harder to believe because English Premier League is the best competitive League right now in the whole football world.

Pep guadiola will be very happy to give Manchester City the champions League before he leave England,is the only trophy he has not won for Manchester City,infact since he left Barcelona he has never won the champions League,all through his time at Bayern Munich (Germany)he did not win it. so I think he will be obsessed with it and would love to win it at City,with the type of squad he has he should be confident,but that does not mean he is going to surrender the premier League to Liverpool, we all know that he is a winner and would love to win everything.

Pep Guardiola was success with all domestic league from La Liga, Bundesliga until primer league but he failed with giving champion league trophy for Bayern Munich and Manchester City. I think he not has any reason leaving Manchester City as soon possible because still get trusted from Manchester City owner although never give champion league trophy but as top team on primer league. Several years with Manchester City, Pep Guardiola was success give several primer league trophy for Manchester City and I think he will extended several years later on Ettihad Stadium.

With Manchester City, they only see a successful one if they can win Champions League. Pep wants his first trophy there after leaving Barcelona too.

The purpose of a competition is to measure the ability of a team in terms of a technique, tactics and a mentality, at the end of the competition only the best team gets the prestigious trophy. It is impossible for City to hand over the EPL title to Liverpool just like that, the EPL is a prestigious trophy in the Premier League, in one season there are 20 teams fighting for 1 trophy. Although the UCL trophy is more prestigious than the EPL Trophy, Manchester City will continue to prioritize the EPL Trophy as a gift to the supporters who have supported them from the beginning to the end of the competition. Likewise with the UCL trophy.
