Leeds was playing their asses off and could have easily gotten the three points, but they let their defense weaken in the closing minutes of the game. They started the game well, with so much momentum and gusto, but failed to sustain it. I sincerely would have loved to see Leeds win, but I was disappointed. Gnonto is coming along well; congratulations to him and to whoever suggested he go to Leeds. In their next game, Leeds should move more players to the defense if they are leading and another wise thing to do is a midfield who is capable of feeding the forwards and controlling the midfield.

It’s a shame they couldn't hold out for the win but I’m pleased for the lads performance. Last night was about everything that makes me proud. Fight, grit & belief. It's amazing what a bit of width in the team can do! Frustrating to let the lead slip, bit that is a massive point and shows what they are capable of. Coming from home to play at Old trafford and getting a result is good for the team considering their position at the moment.

Leeds and ManUtd will face each other again and this time Manchester United must beat them.

Manchester United must show their best performance against Leeds in the second meeting this season as well as to avenge their failure to get full points at Old Trafford. Victory over Leeds in the second meeting will be the capital to face Barcelona in the Europa League.

Ten Hag must improve the quality of their attack and build a defensive line to prevent the ball from going into their goal. Barcelona is not a team like Leeds whose defense is easily penetrated, Barcelona's defense is very strong, so far this season Barcelona has only conceded 7 goals in La Liga. Ten Hag must also instruct his players to keep track of the Barcelona striker movements while in their defensive area.

When a team loses 0-2 then a draw can eventually be taken as a positive result. Yes, Manchester United attacked the whole match, they wanted to win, but perhaps their desire was too strong and this prevented them. Leeds were dangerous in that they are very close to the velet zone, but they are not at all like the team that is ready to leave the Premier League. Leeds deserved this draw.

The teams will play their next game at Elland Road, I don't know if this will be an advantage for Leeds as it is not a home team, but they still need points, but so do Manchester United.

Manchester United missed a chance to have the same number of points as Manchester City but they risk now to be surpassed by Newcastle once they win their next match.

Alejandro Garnacho missed two good chances to turn them into goals.
A 2-2 result is not bad either for Erik ten Hag who actually got the full points is what was desired.
This draw provides evidence that Manchester United are currently not a team that gives up easily and not a team that panics easily when they are 2 goals down.
This must be considered by Barcelona when they meet later in the European League.

The point difference with Manchester City and the possibility of being surpassed by Newcastle United in the standings is not an obstacle in our opinion considering that this season the target to finish in the top four has been a good achievement for Erik ten Hag.

I was also very surprised by Man U's game yesterday and that Leeds were able to score two goals in the first half... At first I thought Man U would lose, but they were lucky to equalise... I was sure they would take the three points in this game, but like many people I was wrong... Now Newcastle have a chance to get back to third place in the standings if they beat Bournemouth away...

It was a little difficult for Manchester United, but at least the final result by sharing the points was still pretty good because they were able to reply from two goals behind, so that the match in the second half Manchester United showed their best performance even though they had to lose in the first round.

These 2 weeks have always had surprises coming with Arsenal and Manchester City in the beginning and now more with Manchester United.
Talking about Weghorst so far, his performance is indeed not very promising for a striker from a top club, actually I also don't expect too much and don't know the obvious reasons for Ten Hag bringing this player apart from him being the same Dutch national as Ten Hag.
His posture is actually quite good, it's just that with his tall stature he really lacks in positioning and even during duels his posture doesn't help much.

Actually not without reason in my opinion. because Manchester United are still playing quite well, especially in terms of ball possession and opportunities. it's just that Leeds appeared very disciplined in this match and of course we also saw some very good saves from Meslier in this game.
This condition is regrettable but still 1 point is much better now even though this is indeed not very good in terms of position because if Newcastle wins then their position will automatically be shifted by Newcastle.

I am pretty sure that it is going to be a tough few weeks for all the teams there, City trying to catch Arsenal while not being caught by United, Newcastle being fourth but having a chance to go up as much as second, they are all trying their best. United had a chance, and Leeds played well and had good saves and all but United should have both not get scored on 2 goals, but also should have scored easier earlier in the game.

I get that sometimes even lower level teams play well, but that's not really a good look for them at all. If you want to be second, you need to beat these teams even when they are playing well, that's how you become a great team.

With their all poor performances, top three does not change after the latest match day. We will have to wait for another match day to see changes in top three and top four of Premier League.

I don't think Manchester United and Ten Hag decided to buy Weghorst simply because he is a Dutch player. I believe that reasons including his good moment for Netherlands in World Cup 2022 to help them equalize match result against Argentina. Another bigger reason is he is useful for them when they need to more aggressively play with air ball.

Before World Cup 2022, Ten Hag sometimes had to use Harry Maguire for the striker position when he could not use Cristiano Ronaldo. It is reason he and Manchester United decided to buy Weghorst with acceptable cost. He is their temporary solution for second part of the season.

He is a good player where he was coming from, but he has not been an effective member of the Manchester United team as expected. He is tall and expected to give an advantage to Manchester United for balls that are crossed in, but since watching his game, he has only almost scored ones with his head where the ball hit the bar. Sancho brought life to the team when he was substituted in for Weghorst. Going to the next leg, Manchester United have the advantage to win since they were able to recover from the two goal lead that Leeds had, they will not make the mistake of conceding early goals and the coach already have an idea of the best eleven to start the game with.

Needs united strikers really demonstrated well in this match, because they were able to scored two goals in the first half to reduced the strength of Manchester united and to make their fans happy. But Manchester united coach introduced some new strategies in the second half that made their players to scored the first goal at 62 minutes, that gave people hope that Manchester united can equalize the goals. At 70th minutes Manchester united finally equalized the two goals to escape defeat from Leeds united at the end of the match.

Manchester United were 2 nil down and yes some of the players were really poor however, considering the number of scoring chances they had yesterday, they should have won the game. They would have won it with more squad depth and quality from the bench. Winter transfer window is a shambles as they have  just brought in Sabitzer n Weghorst on loan.

MU played great at times, despite some player problems. The team combined a lot and controlled the ball. But Leeds did not panic in defense and successfully shut down the goal.

Ten Hague made some interesting substitutions. Jaydon Sancho played in the EPL for the first time since late October, and Facundo Pellistri played for the first time in his career. The new players added speed to MU's attack and helped rebound. The Mancunians turned 0-2 into 2-2 in eight minutes.

Newcastle is three points behind the Red Devils. Even though Manchester United made a huge comeback against Leeds at Old Trafford, their performance against a weak team wasn't good enough. That game was supposed to be their winning game, but instead they settled for a draw tie. Manchester United is one of the big teams in the Premier League. The frontlines are not as classic as they should be since Erik Ten Hag is not beginning the right guys in the game. Weghorst, a rookie who didn't contribute to any goals in the game and was given a striker rating of 6.1, one of the lowest possible, was started.

Leeds and ManUtd will face each other again and this time Manchester United must beat them. Newcastle United will go to Bournemouth away. That game against Bournemouth might be the shocker of the weekend, periods like this we see this side beating and taking points from top side's. Bournemouth are winning Newcastle at home during the weekend. And last night Sancho was back with a good and new Sancho we do know at Dortmund. He helped with the equalizer to make it draw. And Rashford is in such a good form scoring important goals when needed the quality in midfied was not quality enough for the game against leeds

But I think Man-U still has a chance have the same point to Man City, but only if they play very well and win their replay match against Leed at away coming up on February 12th, and also only if Man-City lose against Villa in their upcoming match same day, which I'm sure Man City won't want to play with such opportunity, looking at the fact that they just have few points ahead of Man-United. So it's equally going to be a tough game next match. And for me, I will definitely not place a bet on Man-United to avoid been disappointed just the way I was yesterday after hoping Man-United will win with a goal total of Over3.5, and finally seeing the game end draw just broke my heart.

For now, Weghorst still can't adjust himself to other Manchester United players. Additional training may be required for Weghorst to fulfill the Ten Hag's wishes. Moreover, he is placed in the front line which is very important to be able to control his position well. So far Weghorst has tried to play safe and not play the ball for too long, we can see that on the pitch.

Draw result against Crystal Palace 2-2 made Manchester United fail to make the points equal to Manchester City, even though they are currently 3 points ahead of Newcastle United who are in 4th place but there is still have chance for The Magpies to overtake Manchester United's position with 1 match left.

Actually held draw by Crystal Palace give advantage for Manchester United because have conceded two goals early before Rashford and Jadon Sacho scored goals and made draw for.

but appreciation must be given to Leeds United players in this match they played very disciplined from the early minutes.

Leeds United did play very neatly from the first half to the second half so this Leeds United team got a bit of luck. Nonetheless, overall I was also very impressed with Manchester United's players who were able to equalize despite being two goals down. This was a very impressive save by the Manchester United players on their own turf. Because if Manchester United are not able to do this, of course they will be very ashamed of their fans.
