Arsenal losing the opportunity in this week make many points gap in standing position after held on by Brentford and the rival team between Manchester United or City success getting three points after winning against Aston Villa.

Arsenal's draw with Brentford sort of opened things up. Now, we've got not just Manchester City contesting for the league trophy but, Manchester United too. Now its surprising how far Manchester United have come. Seeing them in second place today before the Manchester City 3:1 Aston Villa game just showed that, Arsenal's problem has gotten bigger.

I don't really see Manchester City game to be there biggest game and I say this because, Arsenal looks a bit shaky right now and they don't seem like a team that can handle Manchester City with that sort of Brentford performance. Meanwhile, Manchester City is just getting better and Pep is withdrawing his players in preparation for the games ahead. Arsenal suddenly don't seem to have the upper hand in this but, they just might be strong for the game after that.

Currently, I am very jealous. As a result of Manchester City's 3:1 victory over Aston Villa and Manchester United's victory over Leeds, Arsenal's position is currently in jeopardy. At the moment, Arsenal is just three points ahead of Man City, but I don't understand why. Their next game against City won't be an easy one, and if City wins, the race for the top spot will be between Arsenal and Manchester United. If that doesn't happen, however, then it's football for you, the way attacks were coming on Leeds was surprising.

Even though now they still have 1 game left that hasn't been played, it's still not safe. Hopefully their old illness with a drastic drop in performance won't happen after these 2 matches can't be maximized properly.

Finally City started reducing the gap between them and Arsenal. They were able to win with 3 goals scored in the first half and now they are only 3 points away from gunners, well they still lacks 1 match so the real difference might increase to 6 points.
ManU won 3 points too so they are 3rd with 5 goals difference from Newcastle which lacks a match too.
The first positions in EPL are quite fragile and easily interchangeable after few rounds or even from a round to another.

I hope that Asrenal have exhausted their point loss limit just before the City game and that the gap between first and second place will again become significant.
It's funny that Newcastle, which is far from the fight for the first place, continues to be the best team in defense - with only one defeat and the fewest goals conceded.

Manchester City is seriously following Arsenal to dethrone them but it will be a difficult task to accomplish. This is because it is possible that any team in the Epl table  top 10 can be able to win Manchester City. The England teams this season are too strong to beat. The narrower point difference will indeed create pressure for Arsenal. Meanwhile, Man City will be more eager to catch Arsenal's points. and well, in the next match, namely the Man City vs Arsenal match, it will be a quite interesting match. because the match will be an important point for both teams. Arsenal have made mistakes with their last 2 matches ending in a loss to Everton and a draw with Brentford. this has provided an opportunity for Man City to get closer and now there is only one game left for Man City to be level on points with Arsenal. but Arsenal certainly do not want to play badly in front of their supporters. so maybe Arsenal will get full points in the next match against Man City at the Emirates stadium.

Chelsea seemed promising against West Ham but we saw the same problems continuing for them. It is really sad to see them still struggling at scoring more goals in a match. They were very dominant against West Ham actually. They found numerous opportunities to score at least a few more goals. But there were really important saves by Fabianski in this match. Besides Chelsea attackers wasted some other opportunities by slight margins to the goal. This can't go on like this if they want to have a win streak.

The Enzo Fernandez - Joao Felix cooperation on the goal was lovely to see. I believe these two will do a good work in the remaining time period of the season. Chelsea still need some improvements in their defense as well. The goal they conceded was so simple. The defenders were sleeping there.

It must be said that both teams got important 3 points in the championship race. Arsenal and Manchester city are the top contenders for the premier league title and the both teams are desperate to become higher earners of points on the table. Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta got the best players at their peak this season. Manchester city are pushing closer to arsenal on points with no hindering actions to quit, not this time that they're so close to levelling the points. On the other hand, Gunners have record poorly in their last two games and it's absolutely not what the team needs presently. Mikel Arteta will apply more efforts on his players on the pitch, because it's really one heavy duty to carry the club on his shoulders. Considering the 100% chance open for any team to win the league is highly compromised due to the competitive race already set by the two teams.

Manchester United did well, at least they got to impress the away fan's, and I was happy to see star boy Garnacho coming from the bench to help Manchester United win the game. Marcus Rashford did not fail to score, as he scored back to back goals.

Arsenal seem to be dropping points, and I'm not happy they're doing so, if they want to win the Premier League, then the ball is at them court it's all for them to take a perfect shot in the back of the net. Should they maintain the top position, they'll have to win against Manchester City next week.

The problem is with the 2 unfavorable results for them in the last 2 matches it makes me a little doubtful now.
Arsenal's problems from their previous few seasons were not unexpected. When they were terrible at the start of the season they became very scary at the end and sometimes vice versa.

The win that's achieved by Man City today will surely add more excitement to the next match against Arsenal, but I think it's too early to talk about the winner of the EPL this season, as there are a lot of remaining matches, as well as Man United could have a chance too. Manchester City took advantage of the game and grabbed all three points to narrow the gap from Arsenal to three points. This will definitely mount more pressure on Arsenal to put in more effort to maintain their lead, City is a powerhouse in the EPL but I’m a dreamer and hoping the underdogs Arsenal will keep up the dream alive and stay consistent. If Arsenal can't win their next match against Manchester City, then I think Arsenal can't win the league and I don't think it will be kind of easy for Arsenal to win Manchester City, I haven't really been impressed by Arsenal performance in their last two matches, they couldn't win their last two matches, and they will be facing Manchester city in their next match, which am sure Manchester city will do everything possible to win the match. Let's just see what will happen, it will be a tough match and am sure it will be difficult to predict, but I believe Manchester city will win d match.

victory for United 🙌✌️; I was really impressed with their performance tonight. Rashford rocks 👌, as Ten Hag is really proud to work with him, and he confirms that he can get more out of him because he has a high potential. 23 matches of him and 12 goals, really going good.

Although their last derby with Leeds did not leave much of an impression on fans, they were able to make a good impression tonight, earning two goals against Leeds. I just hate that Bruno and Weghorst always end up missing good chances for the team, but anyways, Teg knows best his tactics. Congratulations on their win and the three more points earned.

Ten Hag is the best of the best couch for Manchester United. If the transfer market is good, I see a big win coming for United next season.

United and Barcelona meet again on February 16, 2023, and I am betting on United to win.
